Strongest Lady's
Ch. 80-What Does Power Mean?

The Mist Forest, a vast forest inhabited by thousands of spiritual beasts. A forest that is very dangerous if entered by ordinary humans.

The deeper one stepped, the more dangerous the spiritual beast was.

In the middle of the dark forest, the figure of Weiruo with a blood-soaked sword stood on the mound of the spiritual beast corpse that had just been finished off by him. Weiruo rubbed his face rough, it felt like he wanted to scratch his own face so frustrated the girl.

The power he had all this time, what was the purpose of having that power? What use? His head was so noisy, Weiruo let go of all his emotions on all the spiritual beasts in the forest.

“What's the point of me having this power?!”

Weiruo looked at the pitch-black night sky, there were no moons or stars, they hid behind dark clouds.

The world adheres to the law of the jungle, the strong rule. Not only about money, if you are strong anything you can get easily.

“Strength ... I will be strong! I won't let anyone touch someone I love! I'm gonna kill them! I'll kill them all!”

Weiruo's hands clenched so tightly that his nails pierced through the skin of his hands, droplets of daran falling on the ground below. However, Weiruo did not care about the pain, he simply walked deeper and deeper into the Dew Forest, to the deepest place that was most feared.

...***...

Da Feng glanced at Weiruo who was busy reading the letter from a letter-delivery bird that had just arrived at the Weiruo residence. Da Feng recognized the dove as belonging to Yu Shuyan, it seemed like the old man sent Weiruo another letter.

After his last meeting, Weiruo had not seen Yu Shuyan and the others for a week. He disappeared, not a single letter Yu Shuyan had responded to as much as he sent.

Actually Da Feng followed Weiruo for that week. However, he kept his distance as far as possible and only looked at it from a distance. As long as Weiruo was not out of the imperial territory, then the girl could still control herself.

Weiruo burned the letter and moved from his place. Da Feng immediately blocked Weiruo's steps.

“M-mau go where?” tanyanya alert.

“I'll see Senior Fu Cheng, don't worry, I just want to treat his daughter. I'll go with Shulong, maybe he intends to go back there. Don't come, I won't be rash.”

“Good.”

Weiruo left Da Feng. The girl met Shulong and explained her intention to meet Fu Cheng.

Shulong agreed without a doubt, since Weiruo came in at midnight, only Shulong knew of his whereabouts. Laohua and Chie were practicing deep energy, while the others were already fast asleep.

Weiruo left that night. With the speed they had, it didn't take long to arrive at the Dragon Claw Sect.

Weiruo's arrival surprised Fu Cheng enough that he was faster than expected so he did not have time to prepare a speech for him.

“Not to be too thoughtful Senior Fu, you better take me to Madame Fu Yaran.”

Fu Cheng immediately escorted Weiruo to his residence, while Shulong, he did not come, but went to Dragon Mountain. ‘Ingin to remember the hiding place,’ so he said.

Upon arriving at Fu Cheng's daughter's room, Weiruo was greeted with an unpleasant scent that filled the room.

Fu Cheng glanced at Weiruo, afraid that the scent in the room was bothering him. However, seeing Weiruo who did not look distracted made Fu Cheng slightly calm.

“Nona Ruo, this smell comes from my daughter,” Fu Cheng said desperately.

Weiruo checked Fu Yaran's pulse which was so weak, the woman could not move freely, her eyes looking at Weiruo expectantly.

“It's my fault .. I failed to protect her! If only I hadn't brought it!” Fu Cheng clenched his hands so tightly that his nails pierced through the skin, causing deep wounds that spewed blood nonstop.

Weiruo tried to calm Fu Cheng down. Though unsure if he could actually save Fu Yaran, Weiruo promised to do his best.

Fu Cheng wiped away his tears before telling him the beginning of his daughter ended as it is now.

Three months ago, no matter what wind, Fu Yaran suddenly said that he wanted to become a warrior like his father.

Hearing Fu Yaran's request certainly made Fu Cheng happy. Although it was too late for his daughter to become a swordsman. However, Fu Cheng did not care and still trained his beloved daughter carefully.

Then two months after starting training, Fu Cheng intended to get Fu Yaran to take a closer look at the world of warriors out there.

However, Fu Cheng escorted Fu Yaran and let him go alone as he was preoccupied with a sudden letter from one of his sect elders.

Fu Yaran who went alone met one of the elders from the Blood Sea Sect. Fu Yaran's beauty made the Blood Sea Sect elder interested in him.

As one of the sect elders famous for his strength, he did not hesitate to use his identity to persuade Fu Yaran to drink a glass of wine with him.

Of course the invitation was rejected by Fu Yaran because the woman could not drink such liquor.

The repeated refusal made the Blood Sea Sect elder upset, the article just this time his invitation was rejected outright.

Without a doubt he ended up attacking Fu Yaran. Fortunately Fu Cheng came in time so the man failed to kill the helpless Fu Yaran.

However, even though Fu Cheng had managed to stop the man from killing his daughter, a deadly poison had been embedded in Fu Yaran's body.

At first Fu Yaran only felt his body getting weaker. However, the longer the unpleasant aroma came out of Fu Yaran's body and the woman often vomited blood when coughing.

Fu Cheng was trying to find the best pill expert to help him, only it was so difficult for Fu Cheng to find a person who could cure his daughter.

Originally Fu Cheng had intended to enlist the help of Lao Binyi, the prodigal pill expert was the best in the Tiankong Continent. However, Fu Cheng was sure the old woman would reject him because of the grudge between the two of them.

“Sudge?”

“True. I'm the one who broke half of his face.”

Weiruo exhaled softly, a face like a treasure to a woman, and Fu Cheng damaged the face of Lao Binyi, the best pill expert of the Sky Sword Sect, as well as the best in Tiankong Continent. Not to ask for help, the old woman would definitely kill Fu Cheng the moment she met him.

“Devil Blood Poison is indeed difficult to cure, I was the first time handling this.”

“Nona Ruo's. If you manage to heal my daughter, I swear I will help you whenever you need it! I'll come straight to help you to whatever extent it is!”

“Senior Fu don't be like that. Your help during this time is also very helpful to me.”

Weiruo went back to check on Fu Yaran. Helping Fu Yaran might not be much, considering that since his last meeting with Fu Cheng, Fu Cheng had always given him help without thinking how difficult and troublesome it was.

It was Fu Cheng's attitude that made Weiruo respect Fu Cheng and truly regard Fu Cheng as a good person, far from the rumors that always sounded in his ears.
