Ch. 32 - Gohu City

“Nothing, I just need to say if I should do closed-door training.”

Yu Shuyan let out a sigh of resignation, because he knew that if Weiruo had made a decision then the girl would do as she said.

Initially Yu Shuyan was surprised when Weiruo said her true identity, she indeed heard news of the change in attitude from the crown princess, but did not expect it to go that far.

“Young Miss, how do I explain to the Emperor if something happens to you?” asked Yu Shuyan in a doubtful tone.

“For as long as I do it at my will without the basis of others' requests then no one needs to take responsibility if anything happens to me,” Weiruo explained before moving on.

“I've been so bored in this city.”

Weiruo immediately left Yu Shuyan and returned to his residence.

Three days later Weiruo had already left the capital and started the journey towards Gohu City located in Lanjiang Empire. Because Weiruo traveled far enough to use horses to save energy.

“Baise, long time no waiting for you.” Weiruo patted slowly on Baise's neck, who was spoken to also nodded as if understanding Weiruo's words.

The trip took a week due to the location of the Lanjiang Empire which was far away from the Xifeng Empire. Upon arrival in Gohu City, Weiruo immediately searched the location of the building indicated by Yu Shuyan before he left.

When Weiruo arrived, a girl was sweeping the courtyard. Her clothes looked simple, her long black hair was simply unraveling. Noticing Weiruo's presence immediately made the girl stop her sweep and approach Weiruo.

“There can I help you with, Miss?”

Weiruo took out a badge, the girl in front of him instantly recognized the badge and invited Weiruo inside.

“I Qi Jia, for a while I took care of this place during my Grandfather's illness,” the girl introduced herself to Weiruo.

“I Ruo, owner of Drug Hall.”

“Sorry, Miss, as I recall the owner of the Medicine Hall is a middle-aged man.”

“Have changed for a reason.” Weiruo smiled faintly at the girl.

The building is quite well maintained even though it looks old. Because Qi Jia and his grandfather had not lived for many years, it took a long time to clean the building and take care of its condition.

“Where can I find a builder? I need to remodel this old building.”

“I'll find some people for you.”

“Please do asap.”

Weiruo continued his steps with Qi Jia following along while showing the way.

The two of them walked long enough to see the entire building. Due to feeling quite bored Weiruo invited Qi Jia to see the area around the building they were in now.

The two go hand in hand, the streets are crowded because at the same time there is a night market held every month. Both the nobility and the common people crowded the streets where the night market was held.

“The night market in this city is held for three days, every day is always crowded.” Qi Jia explained while walking side by side from Weiruo, the girl was seen enjoying the night market.

Weiruo watched around, besides the townspeople there were also warriors who were enjoying the night market.

Weiruo's steps came to a halt due to not hearing Qi Jia's voice, his eyes looking around meticulously to find the figure of the girl.

His gaze finally stopped looking, Weiruo immediately walked over to Qi Jia. The girl looks difficult because of some young people around her.

“Sorry, stay away from my people,” said Weiruo as he pulled Qi Jia away.

“Hmm ... who is this beautiful Miss?” one of the young men had intended to touch Weiruo's face, but Weiruo quickly brushed him off.

“Do not like that Miss, we will not treat you badly.”

The other young man tried to do the same, Weiruo calmly pulled out a sword and unhesitatingly pointed the sword at the young man's neck before him.

“I will not hesitate to chop off your head,” he said slowly. His voice was soft but felt so threatening.

The young men raised their eyebrows unhappily, only the first time there was someone who dared to threaten them.

“Nona, do you know who we are?”

“Do not know and do not want to know, you dare to touch my people then I will not hesitate to beat you.”

“Bigger! Keep your attitude or you will regret it!” threaten one of them.

“I should have said that, a jerk like kaliat deserves my ass.”

The three young men looked displeased, one of them came forward trying to grab Qi Jia, but Weiruo's response was so quick that the young man failed to seize Qi Jia, even getting a kick in his stomach.

The other two young men immediately charged towards Weiruo, both of them using a sword technique so that the movements of the two of them went well together.

Weiruo attacked attack after attack with ease, although both of them seemed to exert so much energy but Weiruo was able to repel their attacks without expending much energy.

With a single swing Weiruo released an energy and immediately threw the three young men into the streets. Weiruo immediately kept the sword and took Qi Jia away as the two were now the center of attention.

“Nona, forgive me.”

“For what? Stop apologizing, they deserve to be beaten.”

Ever since their return from the night market, Qi Jia kept apologizing on the grounds that it had already troubled Weiruo.

Weiruo himself felt no problem even feeling satisfied because he had beaten up the young men's noses last night.

“Stop apologizing, immediately find a builder for me, I'll go for a while.”

Weiruo went to a forest not far from Gohu City, the forest was so large that Weiruo wanted to enter the forest. Yeah, he's pretty happy exploring the woods.

A voice stopped Weiruo's steps, the girl immediately came to the direction of the voice and found a man who was busy with something.

Weiruo looked carefully, his eyes becoming sharp when he learned the man was trying to harass an unconscious girl with a cut on her forehead.

As soon as Weiruo moved to stop the man, Weiruo launched a strike right at the man's neck, knocking him unconscious for a moment.

Weiruo checked the girl's condition, fortunately there was no other wound other than the wound on her forehead, the girl's yellowing fainted from the impact on her forehead.

After clearing the blood on the girl's forehead, Weiruo took her to the city and asked Qi Jia to take care of her.

A few handymen arrived during the day, Weiruo immediately pointed out which parts he wanted to remodel. There are enough parts that Weiruo needs to change so ask them to find additional people to help. The repair will take quite a while, about two weeks if there are additional people to help.

“Nona, you need more cost if add people, I have some acquaintances who might be able to work for you.”

“Yes, take them, the faster the better.”
