Ch. 6 - Fighting the Criminals

“WHAT DO YOU MEAN? MY DAUGHTER DISAPPEARED?” Xuan Guoxin struck the table before him in wrath.

How could he not get angry to hear if the guards he sent had lost track of his daughter just like that.

If the one following was only an ordinary warrior, Xuan Guoxin could still understand, but the one he sent was the Shadow Warrior, a special force specially trained and possessing abilities above ordinary troops.

In a small hut in the middle of the forest, a group of children and girls were tied up in a corner of the hut.

The man then moved away after the door was closed, after which silence returned to control the place.

Weiruo was again busy with the rope behind him, after such a long and troublesome struggle, finally the rope that tied the girl beside Weiruo came loose.

Soon the girl opened the cloth covering her eyes and mouth before helping Weiruo.

Weiruo gestured for the girl to not make a sound, then immediately released the other captured girls and children.

“Do not speak, follow my directions, understand?”

They all nodded in understanding and were silent as Weiruo moved a peek outside the hut.

A group of drunk men circled the campfire, some of whom were also seen sleeping so drunk. After confirming the state of the kidnappers, Weiruo then observed the walls of the hut that had been weathered and hollow in some parts.

After a while, Weiruo stopped and began to make a hole in the fragile wooden wall. With just a small push, the wooden wall had already shifted from its place and broken.

“I will distract them, you guys find a safe place as far as possible, if you can get out of the forest,” Weiruo command while winding the cloth splattered on the floor into his hands.

“Be careful with suspicious people, take care of yourself until I catch up.”

Weiruo took a deep breath and calmly opened the door, the incident immediately made the group of kidnappers surprised by the release of Weiruo.

The group of men were shocked, half drunk, charging towards Weiruo.

“Shut up or I kill him!” he threatened her while pointing a dagger right at the neck of the girl he had captured.

“K-you just run! I-I'll be fine.” The girl smiled, but there was clearly fear in her eyes.

“Shut!”

A drop of blood flowed out as the man's dagger scratched the girl's neck.

When the girls were already on the verge of despair, a black shadow shot past the man, a second later he fell unconscious just like that.

A figure in all black clothes walked up to them, they suddenly walked backwards in fear.

“J-don't hurt them, just take me.”

The girl who had just escaped from the grasp of the kidnapper just stepped forward one step to block the figure.

“Go there, there is a royal army coming,” the figure said before paralysing the remaining kidnappers.

After tying the three men together, the black figure dashed towards Weiruo leaving.

On the other hand Weiruo had already begun to be overwhelmed by the dozens of people alone, in addition to the vastly different number of enemies, Weiruo also had no weapons to compensate them, relying only on his bare hands.

Several successful attacks hit Weiruo's body, and now her dress has been covered in blood from her wounds.

“Gosh, you guys are so cruel to gang up on a girl.”

Weiruo managed to dodge the slash that was pointing towards his neck, suddenly his gaze slightly blurred and his body began to lose consciousness.
