Ch. 35-Capital of the Lanjiang Empire

“What is Qi Jia? What happened to him?”

Weiruo reflexively turned his head when Shema said so, the girl was surprised to see Qi Jia's state being quite chaotic.

“What happened to you?” his question was after Qi Jia arrived right before him.

“Hah ... Ms. hiks ... The princess was taken away by the rebel forces .. I could not stop them,” Qi Jia explained, her breathing was panting and her lips quivering as she spoke.

“Zhang Jin managed to find Zhang Qinzie .. meaning he failed to carry out a rebellion.”

Weiruo was silent for a moment, actually the affairs of the Lanjiang Empire had nothing to do with Weiruo, but the girl also felt unbearable if Zhang Qinzie was made a tool by Zhang Jin who was famous for his cruelty.

“I'll go.”

“Nona, I'm coming.”

Shema hastily stopped Weiruo, the woman insisting that Weiruo take her.

“Good, but it's good if you're not in your snake form.”

Shema nodded happily, a moment later her former half-snake form was now completely a human figure with such a beautiful face.

Seeing the shock of Weiruo and Qi Jia, Shema only gave a small smile. Shema is more comfortable with her half-snake form, but for now she must be in human form.

“We're going to the capital first. Qi Jia, you stay in Gohu City, I will return when all is done.”

Qi Jia nodded in understanding. After a bit of preparation Weiruo and Shema immediately went to the capital.

The distance from Gohu City to the capital was quite far, it took almost half a day to arrive at the capital. Due to the chaos of the rebellion, the guard in the capital increased, everyone who entered would be examined.

Weiruo and Shema entered the carriage belonging to one of the merchants who was about to enter the capital, it was fortunate that the merchant was already famous enough that both of them escaped inspection.

The current state of the capital of the Lanjiang Empire is quite chaotic, the attacks of the rebels had a considerable impact especially on the imperial palace, some of the buildings suffered considerable damage due to the rebellion.

“The guy survived pretty well.”

Weiruo infiltrated the palace, then searched for Zhang Yin's presence. Luckily Weiruo was able to find the young man quickly.

“Who are you?” Zhang Yin drew his sword and became alert with the presence of the two foreign figures before him.

“Your sister is in danger,” Weiruo said briefly before closing Zhang Yin's mouth and taking her into the room right next to them.

“Let me go! I ask you once again, who are you and what is the purpose of you entering the palace?” Zhang Yin rebelled and acted so cautiously.

“I Ruo, happened to know your sister in Gohu City, just this morning Zhang Jin came and kidnapped your sister, you must know what her goal is.”

“Zie’er? What do you mean, Miss?”

“What did I say less clearly?” Weiruo replied indifferently.

“No... I mean is what you said true? My sister..”.

Zhang Yin looked panicked and confused. Weiruo just stared at the man, of course he had expected that Zhang Yin would behave this way.

“She's a good kid and has been helping me quite a bit lately. If you want .. I can help you.”

“Let go of me!” shouted a girl who was bound and locked up in an iron cage.

The girl stared intently at the figure of the man before her, who else if not Zhang Jin.

Zhang Qinzie did not expect that his second brother would be able to discover his existence quickly enough.

Qi Jia initially tried to hold back the mysterious people, but these people were warriors who certainly had strength above others. In just a few hand movements Qi Jia was thrown away due to the energy that those people were heating up.

Zhang Qinzie now felt so guilty about not knowing Qi Jia's situation after trying to help him.

Now in front of his second brother, Zhang Qinzie had become so helpless. There was nothing else to do but wait for the miracle to come to him.

“Silence, be a submissive sister.”

Zhang Jin smiled obliquely and left just like that to leave Zhang Qinzie inside the dark tent without any illumination.

“Ukh .. I don't want to be like this,” Zhang Qinzie muttered softly.

The girl felt how pitiful she was, when just being a burden to her first brother, just waiting for a miracle to come to her, she felt so pitiful.

Right now Zhang Qinzie was completely unable to do anything but wait for someone to come to his aid. The iron that contained it contained lightning energy so that it would harm Zhang Qinzie if he forced it to touch the iron.

A shadow darted outside the tent, Zhang Qinzie was surprised to see which direction the figure was going.

The tent slightly opened, a black shadow figure entered by dragging a young man who was already unconscious.

“Sstt...” the figure hinted Zhang Qinzie to shut up.

“Nona Ruo?”

The figure nodded slowly before tying up the young man he had already crippled.

“Ah, the iron contains lightning energy.”

Weiruo nodded in understanding then poured the energy deep into his dagger and cut the iron quite easily.

“Follow me. Don't make a sound and don't get left behind me.”

Zhang Qinzhe nodded in response. Soon the two of them came out of the tent and left there secretly.

However, luck is not on either side. Due to Weiruo's speed of steps, Zhang Qinzie had trouble following until he finally tripped over a rock and fell. Of course the resulting sound was enough to attract the attention of Zhang Jin's people there.

“Ayo.” Weiruo forced Zhang Qinzie to get up and run back.

“Stop you guys!”

All around the termpat immediately pursued both.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jin, who was busy planning the attack, was bothered by the commotion outside.

“What happened outside?”

A man suddenly entered with a panicked face, then immediately explained the chaos that was happening outside.

“Basic useless!” zhang Jin kicked the table in half, and soon the man came out to chase Zhang Qinzie before going too far.

The man was not alone, dozens of people followed him, the weakest among them was at least a Level Two Swordsman.

I don't know what Weiruo was thinking, barging into the enemy base and kidnapping hostages just like that.

Zhang Jin's facial complexion looked so bad, as if it would devour anyone before him right now. If Zhang Qinzie managed to escape and return to Zhang Yin, it meant that there was no ace for him.

Without Zhang Qinzie as a hostage, the rebellion by Zhang Jin would fail, given that previous plans for the rebellion had failed.

“I'LL TEAR UP WHOEVER HE IS THAT DARES TO INTERFERE WITH MY PLANS!!”
