Ch. 18 - Ye Jinhai

Weiruo only followed Xiao Lang, the two occasionally conversing when needed.

Weiruo paused for a moment to look at the neatly arranged rows of small blades inside a cloth-tipped wooden box.

“How much is it?” ask Weiruo.

“Mona's eyes are very good, these ten swords I sold three thousand gold coins, the quality is guaranteed! Very sharp and light!”

Without much ado Weiruo instantly paid for the box of knives for three thousand gold coins.

“Ah, your ring.” Weiruo only remembered that the space ring he was wearing right now belonged to Xiao Lang.

“That's for you.”

“I can buy you a new one.”

“No need.” Xiao Lang hurriedly pulled Weiruo over before the girl bought a space ring for him.

The two immediately walked out of the Blue Lotus Association after that, Weiruo took Xiao Lang to a restaurant to eat because he was already hungry enough.

“Ah, forgive me, Brother,” the boy who just hit Weiruo immediately apologized.

Weiruo certainly did not mind it because the condition of the streets was crowded.

“Where are your parents?” weiruo asked looking at the uncomfortable expression of the boy.

“I am apart with my Grandpa.”

The boy seemed restless and kept looking around looking for the whereabouts of the grandfather. Weiruo then takes her to a restaurant before helping her find her grandfather.

After getting a brief explanation, the boy was a little calmer and was willing to follow Weiruo and Xiao Lang, the three of them entering the restaurant together.

The restaurant is divided into three floors, the higher the floor, the higher the price. Weiruo took Xiao Lang to the third floor, coincidentally no one else but them.

“What do you want?” weiruo asked because the two people in front of him did not order when he finished ordering.

“Teh only, I'm not hungry.”

“T-no need, I don't feel hungry.”

Seeing the response of the two making Weiruo a little upset, the girl asked the waiter to add some herbal tea and some side dishes to her order.

“I will pay, just think of it as my thanks for this ring.”

Weiruo took the boy in for a chat while Xiao Lang simply listened while looking out the restaurant window.

From that little talk Weiruo learned that the boy was named Ye Nian, Ye Nian came to the capital with his grandfather. Due to the bustling state of the city ahead of the auction of the Blue Lotus Association, Ye Nian was separated as he walked with his grandfather.

“I will help find your Grandpa later after eating,” Weiruo said.

Ye Nian nodded in understanding and looked at the crowd from his seat.

After some time Weiruo's order was presented, the girl asked Xiao Lang and Ye Nian to come eat .

Ye Nian was stunned by the beauty of Weiruo's face when the girl unmasked her. However, Xiao Lang immediately resuscitated Ye Nian.

“Peach day.”

“Ah, m-sorry.”

There was no conversation, Weiruo himself was used to not talking while eating.

“Ah, Brother, My grandfather is down there.”

Ye Nian pointed in one direction, Weiruo followed the designated direction and found a confused looking old man figure by the side of the road.

“We'll meet your Grandpa. Lang, please stay here.”

Weiruo put back on his mask and invited Ye Nian to meet his Grandfather, both of whom were walking among the crowd, Weiruo did not take off Ye Nian's hand for fear of the child being lost.

“Grandpa!” call Ye Nian half yelling.

The one called immediately turned his head, the old man immediately showed a happy expression seeing Ye Nian walking towards him.

“Cucuku! Where the hell have you been? Grandpa is so scared!” the old man hugged Ye Nian, happy to mix sadly, tears fell down his wrinkled face.

“Grandfather, it was my beautiful sister who helped me,” Ye Nian said.

“Ah, Miss, thank you for helping my grandson, I don't know what happens if I lose him.”

“No problem, maybe you should be more careful again next time. If you have free time, what if you come with me for lunch?” take Weiruo to the old man.

“No need to trouble Miss. If I may know what Miss's name is?”

“Call only Ruo.”

“Nona Ruo, thank you once again for your help. I am Ye Jinhai, maybe my grandson has told me about my relationship with him,” said the old man.

“Grandfather was a great Pilgrim, Grandfather helped people a lot with his abilities!” cut Ye Nian excitedly introducing the identity of the grandfather.

“Nian’er, do not exaggerate,” Ye Jinhai said while laughing softly.

Ye Jinhai smiled wryly then explained that he had come all the way to the capital to attend the Lotus Association auction for hearing that the Dragon Scales Fruit would be sold in that auction.

Ye Jinhai also explained that he had to get the fruit to treat his grandson, Ye Nian, who has an inherited disease.

“I became a Pilgrim only for my grandson.” Ye Jinhai smiled slightly.

Weiruo did not ask further out of respect for Ye Jinhai's privacy, saying he had to go back because he left someone at the restaurant.

They soon parted ways, Weiruo returned to the restaurant to continue his lunch. Xiao Lang was still in his place and completely did not touch the food being served, only drank the tea served.

“Your condition is not good, eat.”

“No need.”

“Eat!”

Weiruo placed a bowl of rice in front of Xiao Lang, asking the young man to eat the dishes served, it was impossible for Weiruo to spend it all alone.

The two of them separated after coming out of the restaurant, Weiruo returned to the palace while Xiao Lang went to the inn.

Along the way Weiruo always looks around, today the streets are so crowded, some are visitors from outside the capital.

Naturally Weiruo knew the reason they had come all the way to the capital to attend the auction of the Blue Lotus Association. Although the association still does not fully have a name in the swordsman world, but the association has been so well known in the Xifeng Empire since its inception.
