Strongest Lady's

Strongest Lady's
Ch. 33-Guard of the Valley

A girl lay unconscious on the bed. His eyelids moved slightly, then he opened his eyes slowly. He looked around, feeling alien to the space.

The girl got up from her place and immediately walked towards the door, when she pulled the door of a girl while also opening the door from the outside.

“Aware, Miss? Or should I call you Princess?”

The girl panicked and immediately lowered her head. As much as possible he covered his face and tried to avoid the gaze of the young girl before him now.

“Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you. How's your wound?”

“S-has improved. Did you help me?”

“Ya, you could say so.”

Weiruo smiled faintly and invited the girl to talk for a moment.

Weiruo had not expected that the girl before him now was Zhang Qinzie, the Crown Princess of Lanjiang Empire.

The current state of Lanjiang Empire was in turmoil due to the rebellion of their second prince, Zhang Jin. Amidst the chaos, Princess Zhang Qinzie disappeared somewhere.

It was unexpected that Zhang Qinzie was in Gohu City. Feeling that Weiruo would have no ill intentions, Zhang Qinzie began to tell him about the problems he had been experiencing all along.

As a result of the rebellion the state of the palace was chaotic, Zhang Yin, Zhang, the first brother of Zhang Qinzie secretly sent Zhang Qinzie to keep himself safe from Zhang Jin who would of course use the girl to threaten Zhang Yin.

For a month Zhang Qinzie had been in Gohu City without knowing the slightest bit of news about her brother, the girl certainly wanted to return to the palace immediately, but she realized that his presence would be a burden for her brother.

Zhang Qinzie told quite a lot of things and Weiruo listened to everything well.

“Sorry ... I talk too much.”

“Nothing, but it would be better if you are careful in the future, do not easily trust anyone. Then ... I return this.” Weiruo handed over an identification badge belonging to Zhang Qinzie.

Weiruo moved out of his place and went to check on the artisans who were repairing his Medicine Hall.

Zhang Qinzie said goodbye after thanking Weiruo so many times and saying that he would repay Weiruo's kindness one day.

The next day Zhang Qinzie came to the Medicine Hall, without further ado directly helping Qi Jia clean the garden and mopping the floor. Weiruo felt strange seeing Zhang Qinzie who was working nonstop with Qi Jia.

“Nona will go where?” qi Jia asked who saw Weiruo walking to the gate.

“Hutan, just a minute, no need to worry.”

Qi Jia simply nodded in understanding and continued his work.

Weiruo's footsteps ushered the girl through the forest, along the way Weiruo occasionally picked the spiritual plants that flourished in the forest.

Weiruo so enjoyed the atmosphere of the forest, the cool air also made him feel so comfortable.

Without him noticing, Weiruo walked too far to find himself in a valley under the foot of a mountain.

In the corner of the valley grew so many spiritual plants, Weiruo carefully approached the place. However, his steps immediately stopped when he heard the approaching sound.

From behind the huge stone Weiruo peeked, a little surprised to see a giant snake-shaped spiritual beast moving closer to the plants.

Its scales are white, with the tip of its tail reddish in color. About twenty meters long, a pair of small horns sticking out to the left and right of the snake's head.

The snake moved slowly towards Weiruo, as if he was watching the surroundings. On the other hand Weiruo took out a small knife and threw it in one direction.

There was a small sound from the falling rock, the snake immediately turned around and came to the origin of the sound. Making use of that, Weiruo quietly left the place.

Not far away Weiruo stepped, the snake was suddenly behind Weiruo.

Weiruo jumped when the snake hit the ground so strongly with its tail. The land of the former attack was severely damaged, somehow if Weiruo did not dodge in time.

“It seems like it does have to fight.”

A sword came out from Weiruo's spatial ring, slowly white-colored energy coated the sword.

The snake moved quickly to attack Weiruo, his movements were agile and did not have a gap so Weiruo had difficulty to counterattack.

Weiruo leapt away from the snake's tail, then launched an energy attack on his body. The attack managed to injure the snake and fresh blood immediately flowed soaked the wound.

Withstanding the pain, the snake let out a white mist from around its body, quickly covering the surrounding fog.

Weiruo's gaze became so limited, the fog was so thick that Weiruo had trouble seeing around, even his visibility was now no more than a meter away.

However, Weiruo did not feel fear, instead feeling challenged and pouring more energy into his sword. Relying on his listener's senses, Weiruo slowly walked away.

A voice came approaching quickly, Weiruo immediately used his sword and held the mouth of the snake that was about to devour it.

Weiruo pushed the snake's mouth with all his might, a second later threading a knife and throwing it right into the snake's body.

When the snake let its guard down, Weiruo unleashed an energy attack and instantly knocked it to the ground.

“No! Don't kill me!”

Weiruo immediately stopped his sword which almost cut the snake's neck. The shock was felt by Weiruo as it was only the first time he had seen a spiritual beast speak.

“Please don't kill me, I'll obey your orders, but don't kill me.”

“You're a demon?”

“True.”

The snake rose up with the rest of its energy, then half of its upper body became the figure of a woman with silver white hair and blood-red pupils. His face was deathly pale, his mouth trembling slightly as he spoke, either out of exertion or out of fear.

“You attacked me first, why would I forgive you?” Weiruo unsheathed his sword without hesitation.

“I was just defending myself, there were already so many people coming to kill me, so I did that subconsciously.”

“I won't forget that matter just like that. Tell me what advantage I get if I forgive you?” Weiruo stared intently at the demon before him.

“I ... I do not know what advantages I can give in the future, but I will repay your kindness in the future later.”

“Ha? What kind of answer is that? I want a clear answer, it is not impossible that you will hurt me in the future when your strength recovers. After all...,” Weiruo stopped his sentence for a moment before continuing, “I don't need a subordinate like you.”

The snake woman was shocked, but immediately bowed before Weiruo. Again, he asked Weiruo to forgive him.

“Then tell me ... what is my luck in forgiving you?”
