Strongest Lady's

Strongest Lady's
Ch. 11-Against Giant Scorpions

“Telat just a little... I actually met the angel of death,” muttered Weiruo while holding the root of the plant in front of him tightly.

Weiruo was fortunate to realize the existence of the roots of the plants that were radiating outside the cliff walls so that he could use them to hold his body.

“Shh,” hissed Weiruo felt a sting in both of his palms.

Weiruo was sure that both of his palms were now covered in scratch wounds. Withstanding the weight of the body from the falling speed that Weiruo had experienced before was actually strong enough to make the skin of his palms peel off, moreover his new body was still unfamiliar to the current conditions.

“Ya .. I congratulations, may you too, you too..” Weiruo stared down with mixed feelings.

Honestly, the two daggers he bought before had a pretty good shape even though the durability was not too high.

Weiruo scanned around, trying to figure out a way to get himself out of the abyss at least with his body intact.

“What is a cave?” Weiruo squinted his eyes in one direction, making sure that what he saw was indeed a cave.

After confirming that he saw a cave, Weiruo immediately looked for a way to enter the cave because the distance between the two was quite far.

After gathering intent and courage, Weiruo finally began to reach for the root next to him and carefully moved closer to the mouth of the cave not far from him.

“A little more .. hwaa!”

Weiruo's hand slipped, but good fortune still sided with Weiruo, he managed to reach the mouth of the cave just before it completely fell.

The cave is very dark, there is not the slightest bit of light that enters because the surroundings are covered in thick fog.

Although the state of the cave was pitch black, but Weiruo could still see even with a very limited distance, he only relied on his senses to know the structure of the cave.

Weiruo's steps came to a halt as his ears caught the sound of footsteps. The number was not small, but Weiruo was sure it was not a human footstep.

The girl stayed in place for a while, but there were no signs of the presence of other creatures, the sound of footsteps slowly disappearing.

Weiruo stepped back, he did not hesitate at every step he took, as if he was sure that he would be fine.

The sound of footsteps was heard again, now faster and slowly getting closer. Noticing that Weiruo immediately stopped his steps.

Noticing the other presence around him, Weiruo quickly turned around, then found a pair of red light shot towards him.

Soon Weiruo returned to the direction he had walked before and ran as fast as he could. Even if his gaze was limited, Weiruo was sure that the one chasing him at the moment was no worse than the Blood Snake he had fought before.

A speck of light was visible from a distance, soon Weiruo accelerated his pace. He believes that at the end of the light is at least a cave space illuminated by natural rocks.

After reaching the end of the path, Weiruo unhesitatingly jumped up, reaching for a rock attached to the roof of the cave.

However, the stone was not strong enough to hold Weiruo's weight so it fell.

Weiruo fell to the ground quite hard, he could feel his ribs cracking due to the impact.

Fortunately the stone fell on a giant scorpion that had already fallen to the bottom of Weiruo. Now half of his body was buried in rocks that Weiruo accidentally dropped.

The giant centipede seemed to forget the pain and attacked Weiruo brutally, but Weiruo immediately went away knowing that the centipede would not be able to move further from its current place.

Weiruo groped the spare dagger he kept, but he was certain that it would not be strong through the scales of the giant centipede before him.

“Wait for me to come back, you will pay for your work!” curse Weiruo while stroking his back slowly.

Weiruo turned around and walked away, he had to get out of the place as soon as possible. Yeah, well maybe he'd willingly day where he was free for a while only to spend it in a cave with a man-eating giant scorpion.

“Khieeek!”

Spontaneous Weiruo turned around to hear the voice, a sense of panic approached him when he saw a giant centipede that had previously been trapped under a rock now running towards him in a half-injured body condition.

“Crazy creatures,” Weiruo murmured before he started running.

Weiruo jumped into a small corner of the cave. Due to his enormous size, the centipede could not follow Weiruo in, but still insisted on going in and trying to devour Weiruo with its huge mouth.

“Close your dirty mouth!”

Weiruo pulled his spare dagger and stuck it in the centipede's mouth, then quickly pulled it.

A red liquid with a hint of clear mixture soaked Weiruo's hands, the girl's hands were also slightly injured as the sharp teeth of the mouth of the giant centipede that was now moving wildly endured the pain.

Utilizing the gap, Weiruo ran quickly and jumped with the help of a stepping stone.

A successful puncture hit the centipede's right matta, making it move more wildly and leaving Weiruo out of balance.

However, since Weiruo was now really serious about fighting, he did not even care about his injuries and remained on top of the centipede's head.

With one vigorous move, Weiruo stuck his dagger right in between one of the steel skin of the centipede, directly penetrating into his brain.

Within seconds, the giant centipede fell to the ground lifelessly, while Weiruo just left after storing his dagger.

With a slightly irregular breath, Weiruo traced the path of the cave he found thanks to the impact of the giant centipede's body with the cave wall.

With a little help from the natural stone he had obtained, Weiruo traversed along the path of the cave easier than before.

Even though Weiruo was used to fighting life and death, his new body was still not used enough that every step was painful.

“At least two broken ribs,” Weiruo murmured before crouching down and adjusting her breathing.

“If only I could keep the centipede .. by the way how is it? He should be fine, ‘kan?” Weiruo suddenly recalled Xiao Lang who was still on top with the Blood Snake.

“Think of it later.”

Weiruo resumed his steps, faintly hearing the sound of water gurgling from a distance.

After a while Weiruo finally found the cave room again, but with a smaller size. However, there are springs and some plants that grow there.

At first Weiruo was quite surprised how plants could thrive in a place that did not even get the slightest sunlight. However, putting that aside, Weiruo chose to immediately drink the fresh water before him at this moment.
