PHOSPHENE: Your Other Side
Final Verdict

Noah's follow-up hearing was held the same as before. The overwhelming amount of community support for her left the court office filled with people voicing her support.

Noah's appearance is now neater when Edward sees. Their eyes met and Edward nodded his head Noah replied to him and sat down where he was available.

As per the agenda of the court hearing that day will discuss the demands on Noah along with the examination of witnesses.

" There are 3 murder cases that lead to Noah's brother as the giver of the murder order. 2 Of them have been confirmed that the victim is a hitman hired by someone to kill Noah's brother but it is known by him that the murder must be considered as self-defense.

The final case is the murder of a paparazzi who often follows Noah's brother in search of information about him. Obviously it was a matter that violated his privacy and also the law so the murder committed by him was not something planned but spontaneous because Noah's brother felt threatened."

Noah's legal team began to provide his defense for any claims made against his clients. But Noah was silent because his mind was still filled with Anna.

The judge himself was visibly riled up because of the overwhelming evidence supporting Noah. But it has to look professional.

Until the time for witnesses is up. One by one, they explained and answered all the questions. But the judge still felt they had prepared from the beginning until the last witness was called and how shocked everyone was there and Noah was.

" Ex-prosecutor Andy Lee is our last witness."

Edward's father looked straight at the judge with a sincere smile.

" Sir, please introduce yourself."

Edward's father introduced himself as ordered and also took the oath to testify honestly.

Question after question he answered with confidence. There's no doubt in it.

" What do you find when you investigate a group of suspected mobsters."

" I found out that this group was going according to Jeffrey's orders. I barely found any evidence of Noah's brother's involvement in it. He was only used as a shield for his group and his job was to clean up all his father's crimes so as not to sniff out the authorities."

" Can you prove your point?."

" Yes, I've given all the results of my years of investigation to Noah's brother's legal team.,"

The entire room became boisterous until the judge had to order it.

Edward's father's shocking testimony led the judge and his team to pause the trial for discussion.

It took 4 hours until the trial could be held again and the judge had completed the verdict.

" After discussing with the jurors by weighing all the evidence and witnesses, the court decided that Noah's brother should serve 18 months of imprisonment and a fine of 150,000 USD"

.........

Chequek. Noah goes into the visiting room where there is already Edward and Michael.

The two men were indeed the ones who visited Noah most often during his imprisonment and that made Noah happy.

Edward could not help but smile when he saw Noah now returning to himself. Appearance is neat first with an increasingly healthy body.

Michael takes out a brown envelope and hands it to Noah.

These are recent photos of Anna taken by Michael. Noah can't hide his smile seeing Anna living her life well again.

" He now works at an art gallery downtown. You can see Anna's back to health as before."

Noah rubbed the photo imagining he was stroking Anna's face which he longed for.

" I can't wait to get out of here."

said Noah.

" yes. Soon you'll be out and you'll have to live your new life as well as your wife."

Noah looked at Edward with haru. He never thought his life would be blessed by having people sincerely help him.

" Edward, I'm so grateful to you for what you've done for me. I promise I'll pay for everything."

" No Noah. It is precisely you who open my eyes that not everything that looks good is good and what looks bad is bad. Thanks to you I started everything all over again in a better place."

" So, should I call you prosecutor Lee now?."

" Ahahah..it's too early I still haven't qualified."
