Noah's Destination

" Can we talk for a minute."

Jeffrey told Noah after they all got to the mansion. Laura is helped by Julia and Emily to go upstairs to rest in her room.

Julia glanced back and watched her husband and son enter the study. Halfway through, he stopped looking at his daughter.

" Emily, please take Laura to the room so I can prepare some food for her."

Julia reasoned like that when she wanted to eavesdrop on Jeffrey and Noah's conversation. He went back down the stairs and settled down so that the sound of his steps could not be heard.

Julia put her ear to the door of Jeffrey's office, but she couldn't hear anything. He began to look agitated and desperate until a memory appeared in his head.

Julia rushed to the room next to Jeffrey's workspace that looked like a storage shed of unused items. It turned out that the room was fused together and connected by a door.

He carefully pulled out a table to reach the air vents. Now he can hear the voice of the two even though it is not very clear.

" Is this how you fight? You got rid of your enemies in a cunning and cowardly way." Jeffrey said coldly.

Noah, who was standing in front of Jeffrey, put his hands in his pants pocket. With a slanted smile he stared hatefully at Jeffrey."

" Sneaky and cowardly. Isn't that your nature, it means I inherited it from you. Oh no, I mean that's the trait you taught me. "

Jeffrey had started to lose his temper due to the innuendo as well as Noah's change of attitude. He looks riled up to his body he rests on the chair he sits on. The man standing before him was now not like his son anymore but he was like an enemy that could destroy him at any time.

" I wish everything I do could erase my sin."

" Haha.. Sins. Since when do you think of sin."

Jeffrey laughed at Noah. Noah did not change his expression.

" I'm errat. Everything I did to take away your sins for making me this way. "

Jeffrey stopped the smile on his face, recalling the fact that Noah was not his son.
