Noah's arrest made big news and filled news headlines in various media. News agencies are competing with each other to continue digging information about him.

Julia and Laura were so shocked by it that they temporarily had to hide until the news died down.

Edward, as the person leading the case did not escape the pursuit of reporters who hunted the news but he firmly said not to report rumors that are not clear until there is an official statement from the FBI.

" Aaah, it's a real hassle."

She complains when she enters the interrogation room where Noah and his lawyer are waiting for her.

" Okay, gentlemen, we're gonna start this boring interrogation."

Edward spoke sarcasm while turning to the glass wall behind which were some of his superiors who would follow the process.

Noah spoke calmly as if he had prepared everything from the start. All of Edward's questions he answered smoothly without being nervous or trying to avoid them.

All the initial process had been done Noah is now placed in a special prison with many other prisoners. Most of them are high-class criminals with serious crimes. Even some of his enemies he imprisoned were there. They cheered when Noah arrived accompanied by a guard officer.

" Welcome to hell, Lucifer."

Noah turned his head and it turned out to be John, Xavier's father who spoke with a sly grin. Noah doesn't care he keeps walking to his cell room.

The first days of Noah's imprisonment were quiet. He spends a lot of time reading books or being alone. It felt like he had regained his composure after letting go of everything he had when he became Elnathan Noah.

Noah, who was enjoying the morning sunshine, was approached by a group of people led by John and Lucas. Seeing that Noah just grinned and tried to ignore him.

" You see, no matter how good Lucifer is, he's hiding in the end of the hell he's back in."

Noah doesn't react to upset John and he takes the book Noah is reading and throws it away.

" Where's your manners, son. I'm the old man talking."

Noah stood with both hands he put in his pocket.

" Even though your age is far above mine, it doesn't make you worthy of respect. I feel sorry for Xavier for having parents like you."

" Why did you bring my dead son?."

" Alexavier never had any progress because he inherited your nature. You can be proud that Wild Blood was able to catch up to the Phoenix but it was before you took the lead and when you didn't have any achievements you gave it to your son and now you know the results even he did choose to die."

Noah puts on a smile to scorn John.

" Braziest.."

John felt humiliated by Noah he wanted to beat him in front of a lot of people. But John's attack was nothing to Noah. He could even knock out all of John's men with just one punch.

Noah said as he left John who was still struggling to stand until he had to be helped by Lucas the younger brother.

Seeing the powerful aura and intimidating Noah the prisoners were made to be amazed. They even felt disinclined when they were near him. But it was actually beneficial for Noah because no one would dare to harass him unlike other new prisoners who often get 'welcome' from old prisoners.

" Number 1306 there's someone who wants to see you."

Noah, who was sitting on the floor of his cell, immediately got up and followed the warden. And it turns out Edward was the guest who wanted to see him.

Noah picks up the phone in front of him to be able to communicate with Edward who is opposite him which is blocked by thick glass.

" How are you?."

" As you can see I'm fine. Why'd you meet me you'd get in trouble later."

" I don't care, there's something important I want to say."

Noah is silent waiting for Edward to speak and his next words make Noah surprised and happy.

" Your wife has already made it through her critical period and her condition has stabilized. It's just that he hasn't been conscious of his coma yet."

Noah breathed a sigh of relief but was also sad because he was not beside Anna right now.

" Noah, I'll help you get out of here as fast as you can. Me and your lawyer will arrange everything so that your trial can be expedited."

" You don't have to do that, Edward. This is a punishment I must bear."

" No Noah, who should have been there and accounted for everything was your father Jeffrey. You don't have to suffer for a crime you didn't commit."

" But Edward. I..."

" We have to work with Noah, think of your wife, she needs you. Trust me, I'll do everything I can to help you."

" I'm sorry your time is up."

The officer interrupted both conversations.

" Thank you Edward. I owe you a lot."

" No need, we're friends."

Noah smiled with teary eyes. So moved by Edward's sincerity that he thought Edward would hate him for a lifetime because of what Jeffrey did to his family.
