" Your plan succeeded boss."
Stephen flattered Noah who seemed to be unconcerned by the news that was being hotly talked about. He still sipped his cigarette casually and occasionally exhaled his smoke into the air.
" There's still Wild Blood that we have to conquer so don't be happy just yet."
" I have done as you have commanded. Spreading rumors about the gold and it seems like a lot of people are interested."
" Good Stephen, just a little more we can get it. I'm sure they'll change plans because there's a lot of people after him and Wild Blood will eventually fall into our trap."
" When this is done, what are your plans?."
" Live free."
Noah gave a smile that Stephen responded to in wonder.
" Stephen, we've grown up together since childhood don't you miss those times?."
" Yes we often play together because my father was an accomplice of your father." Stephen chimed.
" We never thought it would be like now. If time comes back will you still choose this path?."
Stephen seems to have no answer.
" I am the same. I'm having trouble deciding."
" Do you intend to stop because of your wife?."
" I have a choice. But if there is, then my answer is yes."
A grief-stricken gurgle emanated from his cold face. No one knows what Noah and Stephen are thinking about not daring to dig any further.
…..…...........
No. yep.. Anna played her spoon until it made a sound. The food in front of him had long been cold because he had not touched it.
He propped up his chin with a blank stare and occasionally glanced at the chair in front of him.
I don't know when the last time he ate with Noah at the house he was nothing more than a prisoner who just hitchhiked and slept there.
For a long time she had hardly met her husband because Noah would come home after he slept and go back before Anna woke up even not infrequently he did not go home. Anna tried to understand but this time she could no longer hold tight until she decided to wait for him to come.
Noah arrived home early. The condition of the house that had darkened made him not aware that Anna was sitting waiting for him. He crossed his legs and folded his hands with a straight look. Anna approaches him until Noah has no chance to escape.
" Why haven't you slept?."
" That's not important right now what I want to talk about is why are you avoiding me?."
" I'm tired so can we talk later?."
Noah breezes toward the stairs, but Anna doesn't let him.
" Hear me talk, Aaron."
Noah kept walking until Anna had to follow him with a little run because of Noah's quick steps.
" Don't ignore me."
Anna held his hand but it did not stop Noah until he got to their room.
" Elnathan Noah!!."
Noah stopped and turned around when Anna mentioned her other name.
" Don't say that name out of your mouth. That pisses me off, Anna."
" Why do you have to be upset it's you. You're the one I knew the first time."
Noah breathes harshly in the face of Anna's always defying attitude.
" I don't want to argue with you so please leave me alone."
" How long are you going to treat me like this, Noah. I can't stand it anymore can you understand my feelings a little bit."
" And what do you want? get out of here while my enemies might be chasing you or you want to go back to your deceitful father?."
" No.that's not what I meant. You changed Aaron you went back to your old nature."
" I haven't changed Anna, this is just my other side that you have to accept."
" By ignoring me? at least Noah used to care about me so much but now you're acting like a stranger."
" That's enough!! What else do you really want from me. I've given everything, I've also said I love you isn't that enough?."
" IT'S NOT THIS KIND OF LOVE I WANT."
Anna was unable to hold back her emotions in front of Noah who was now only still fixated.
" It's not like this.." Anna muttered that Noah could hear.
Anna's tears began to fall down her face. He also bit his lips so as not to let out his crying voice.
Noah became speechless and stammered because for the umpteenth time he made Anna cry.
