Accident

" Felix. get the car ready."

Noah shouted from the second floor of his house and then came down with running as hard as he could. Felix was waiting for him at the door with a car without being ordered to open the door so that Noah could enter immediately.

" Where are you going, Anna.."

Noah sat down unsettled.

After a few minutes Noah finds Anna's car.

Seeing Noah chasing her Anna was no less stepping on the gas in the quiet streets. Sometimes he rubbed his watery eyes and blocked his view.

" Please stop Anna."

Noah continues to honk, hoping Anna stops and Noah gets closer to Anna's car, but that doesn't stop Anna from staying away. Beyond a sudden suspicion there is another car that overtakes Noah so that it blocks him.

When he turned to the rearview mirror Anna was not suspicious at all with the car that was also chasing him. The pursuit of the three cars is inevitable.

Noah is increasingly upset with the person who upsets his path and does not give him a chance to get ahead. He didn't even stop swearing at her.

The driver opened the window of his car deliberately showing his face through the rearview mirror of his car and it was Xavier who was grinning cunningly.

" Damn it.."

Noah's heart pounded and fear began to spread throughout his body.

" Today you will feel what I used to feel. Seeing your lover die in front of your own eyes."

Xavier's eyes were covered in a fog of vengeance until at full speed he crashed his car into the car that Anna was carrying.

Anna flinched and panicked her car and ran over to the roadblock.

The car spun up to 360° before crashing for the second time and stopped with smoke billowing down its rear. Similarly, Xavier's car overturned in the middle of the road after several times rolling on the road.

" NOOK...."

The thunder-like voice boomed Noah stepped on his brakes while closing his eyes.

The blood-soaked Xavier in his car only smiles triumphantly after taking his revenge on Noah. But soon he groaned in pain his voice choked and he breathed his last with his eyes open.

Noah got out of his car with an erratic feeling. His legs were so limp that he forced a run towards Anna's car.

When he saw Anna was unconscious with a wound on the head whose blood almost soaked his entire face.

Noah is hysterical beside his car but he doesn't dare touch Anna's body. Soon the sound of paramedic sirens came closer and Noah retreated to make room. They were assisted by firemen to evacuate immediately. It took a while for them to get Anna out of the car and then they checked to see if Anna was alive.

" He's still breathing fast take him to the hospital."

So said a woman who examined him. Noah who was almost desperate finally had a little hope.

As long as Anna gets her medical, Noah doesn't stop there waiting. Until Edward came after hearing from one of his colleagues who served in the emergency center.

" What's going on?."

Edward could not control the rhythm of his breath.

" My wife was in an accident because of me.."

Noah couldn't go on with his words he looked devastated. Edward approached and gave her a hug to strengthen Noah unexpectedly Noah's cry broke out with a trembling body. Very contrary to his character so far.

After a few hours, a doctor came out of the operating room and looked for Anna's guardian.

" Miss Anna's guardian."

Noah was surprised because he was called immediately he approached the doctor.

" How's my wife doing, doctor?."

" Because the wound on his head is quite severe now he's in a coma. And also the great impact on the stomach makes your baby we can't save."

Noah's gaze momentarily blurred he even had trouble standing properly so that Edward who was standing some distance away from him immediately ran to prop up Noah's body that was afraid of collapsing.

" It's all my fault, Edward.. If only I hadn't been selfish if I had let Anna go long ago she wouldn't have suffered like this."

Noah beats his own head with regret and fear of losing Anna forever. He even sobbed until Edward himself was silent to let Noah release his emotions.

Anna was transferred to the ICU after being declared in a coma by the doctor who treated her. Noah is allowed to see her though not for long.

When entering Noah could hardly bear the pain again. Anna lay weakly with many tools stuck all over her body. Anna could not breathe on her own without the help of an intubation device. After surgery on her brain Anna's hair was even trimmed down. The injuries in some parts of his body were clearly visible to make Noah want to go crazy.

Slowly he sat down beside her and clasped Anna's hand carefully in fear that she might hurt him.

" I'm sorry Anna. If I knew it would be like this, I would have fulfilled all your wishes. I don't care if our son is born and hates me as much as I've feared all along, as long as you're happy. Please wake up Anna. You must wake up and punish me for this sin."

Noah cried in silence. He does not stop apologizing to Anna who either heard it or not. Only the sound of the monitor greeted him in the cold and quiet room.
