" Noah.. Why are you getting worse like this?."

" I've lost my only reason to live so everything I do is in vain."

" You should've understood the consequences you'd have in the first place."

" Yes you're right. But the situation has changed so no matter what happens to me I don't care anymore. So from now on stop defending me, Edward."

Edward clenched his hand and kicked the table in front of him. Noah did not budge in the slightest he knew Edward was disappointed in him because of the despair that was running over him.

" It's only this much your determination to fight for the woman you love. If you feel guilty fix everything instead of giving up. You're facing a dozen years in prison and when you get out of here your wife will completely forget you."

Noah bowed because of Edward's words that he felt had a point. But somehow since when he wanted to give up because there was nothing he could do to make Anna return to him.

" I understand how you feel, Noah. But just a little more we can prove that you're not entirely guilty. The witness and the evidence we need are in sight so please trust me with everything."

" Then I have to how Edward. Would I be able to live freely but Anna didn't recognize me and even if she finally remembered me it would be as big as she hated me after what I did to her."

" Didn't you remember your goal of surrendering? You said you wanted to punish Elnathan Noah. Then if it's over you can live as Aaron."

Noah gets up and leaves Edward alone to return to his cell.

There was no other choice but to return to his office to complete his pending work.

But when the boss Edward and Andreas was waiting for him in front of his room.

Edward did not argue he followed behind his boss and also Andreas who smiled tilted at him.

" What is all this?."

His superior threw the papers at Edward who stood quietly.

" If you've read it, why ask again."

" My insolent Edward. Are you going to betray our agency?."

" You think too far. That is proof of s*ap and k*rups* you and your colleagues including Andreas. The FBI has nothing to do with it."

" Don't be so naive Edward. Because when you open your mouth, you're not gonna get away from us. Our authority is so great that taking care of a little mouse like you is not difficult."

" I don't intend to reveal anything sir. Because I'm the one who's going to get away from this dirty place. Ah I mean I can't stand being in the same place as dirty people like you. Only until the Elnathan Noah case is over will you receive my resignation letter. "

Edward walked out of his superior room with fiery eyes. His patience is exhausted to always understand those who are sheltering under power just to cover their dirty hands.
