Phantasia: The Princess Knight

Phantasia: The Princess Knight
Blake Roseland's

Right now, Alicia was stuck in a small gap between two large stones while a large creature that was nearly four times the size was staring at her with red eyes. He was scared out of his mind because he had never seen such a creature before. It was like a lion but its back was covered in red scales and had a fiery mane on its neck. His claws picked up a large piece of hard rock. He had already lost his sharp stick when he tried to pry out one of his eyes in an attempt to frighten the creature, but the stick reacted too quickly and only crushed the sharp stick into shreds.

Thanks to this creature he had lost all his stuff and only the rabbit horn was left for self-defense. All of his other items were used as a distraction to try to escape from the creature in front of him. But it only slowed the creature down a little bit enough to allow it to enter this gap.

The creature continued to swing its huge claws at the rock in front of it. With each swing, it took out another piece of stone. The creature was slowly getting closer and closer to Alica. With a final swing, the last piece of rock left collapsed exposing little Alicia to the creature. The creature opened its large mouth baring its sharp fangs with saliva dripping down. Alicia was really wondering if her life would end like this!

"No! I'm not gonna die here! I'm dead once!" Alicia suddenly shouted. All of his fears that he had before disappeared as he made himself possessed. "Kill him before he can kill me! Kill him before he can kill me!"

Alicia did a head dive under that huge creature. He twisted his small body around causing his now mud-coated blonde hair to swirl. The tip of his hair hissed as it passed through the fiery mane of the creature. With the rabbit horn in her hand, Alicia thrust it upwards into the creature's stomach. But he didn't stop there, he pulled it out and kept stabbing the creature over and over again.

*Shew!*

The creature let out a painful roar as it leaped into the air away from Alicia! It stood there staring at the little girl who was previously as scared as a rabbit. Now his eyes were ice-cold and his body was emitting a faint killing intent.

Alicia knew if she tried to run it would be worth it. Alicia shouted her battle cry as she attacked the creature! "Kill him before he can kill me!"

"Sounds good!" Alicia stopped her attack and stared dumbfoundedly at the tall boy in front of her. She was only about eleven years old but she stood tall and strong in front of her small body. His armor glimmered under the sunlight that pierced through the canopy of the trees above. His shoulder-length silver hair swayed in the wind as if creating a gleam as sunlight landed on it.

This is a knight! A young man but still a knight! Alicia's eyes sparkled. There's no way he doesn't know who he is! He was most likely a bodyguard but he was still standing firmly in front of the creature in front of him. The boy charged forward causing the creature to swing its huge claws towards him. The boy dodged his claws easily and made it to the creature's side where he thrust his sword into the creature's side slicing down leaving a huge wound as blood and entrails spilled throughout the land. One attack! Only one strike was needed to kill the creature! This is Alicia's image of a knight!

As she looked at Alicia, she could see the glint in her eyes as she looked at her. This is not a look of love but a look of respect. Seeing this look caused him to laugh lightly as he asked: "Why are you so deep into this forest? Didn't you know that this place is filled with demonic beasts?"

Alicia didn't know what to say. He can only tell the truth. "I had to leave the hut I was living in so as not to be sold to a brothel or elsewhere..." Although embarrassing, Alicia is not a person who likes to lie. He would only lie if the truth would hurt someone.

"Someone will sell you!?" The young man became angry. "Who!?"

"Yes... Two now dead men wanted to sell me to a brothel and I heard them say the village chief wanted to sell me when I reached the age of ten." Alicia explained.

"Well! They really know how to go against the King's decision! Wait for... You said two people were dead? Who killed them?" The young man asked.

"I-I'm so.." said Alicia quietly. However, he had no choice at that time. It either killed them or was beaten and then sold. It was a life or death situation!

The young man was shocked again. This girl was able to kill two grown men? It was then that he noticed that in addition to the fresh bloodstains coming from the magma lion, there were also dried blood stains on his face and clothes as well. "so. So you fled into the forest to avoid being sold. Your thinking isn't so bad. If you were to cross the main road, the bandits might have been eyeing you which would cause chaos a worse problem than being sold to a brothel. The Forest has food as well as water so you can wait for your time and grow stronger until you are strong enough to go and head to the city somewhere." WEB." The young man fell silent and thought for a moment.

"Mmmm.I can't do much for you because I'm on a mission but I have a spare short sword. I'll give it to you. This magma lion was extremely nutritious and its scales and skin could be used as armor. .I'll help you unpack it. This is all I can do for you. If you can survive for three years, go to the capital and take the bodyguard test. I wish there was more I could do for you..." The boy looked at the little girl and sighed. He felt sorry for her. He was alone here in this dangerous forest. All he could do was a little help.

"Just giving me this short sword was more helpful than I could have imagined. Knight sir, may I ask your name?" Alicia had no way of avenging this boy, but if anything, she would remember the boy's name for the rest of her life.

"Blake! Blake Roseland and I are still squires. One day I wish I could be a true knight!" This is the first meeting between Alicia and Blake Roseland.
