Phantasia: The Princess Knight
Bandits On The Street

After leaving the memorial mound, Alicia turned around and headed towards the village. He had to pass through the village to get to the main road. Ever since he came here he had never been to the village at all. He walked through the village but everything seemed very quiet. Even those houses looked more damaged than he thought. "Loeri is just me or it looks like the houses here have not been occupied for a long time."

From his memory, this city had many families living in it. But it's deserted now. "It's not just you, these houses haven't been around for years. I can smell the dust coming from inside. There was also the smell of old, dried blood. I wonder if the village was ever raided by bandits ."

"It doesn't matter whether they were raided or not. These people are all bad people. Karma will befall those who do bad things in bad ways. Just as karma will let good things happen to those who are good." Alicia knew karma was something that would always reappear. In his previous life, he had saved a baby and even tried to save his father as well. Even though he ended up saving both of them at the expense of his own life, he could still be reborn. Thanks to that, he was able to realize his dream of becoming a knight that he had since his past life.

"That's so true! Just like how the old man was going to get his karma for all the terrible training he gave me over this past half year!" Just thinking about the training from hell that he went through gave Loeri goosebumps.

"Haha, it's not that bad, is it Frey?" Alicia stabbed Frey who was sitting on her shoulder swinging her legs back and forth.

"Yes! Frey has to practice too! Grandpa had Frey learn to read and write!" Frey shouted enthusiastically as he clenched his fists into the air.

"Huh! What little midgets know!" Loeri spat, feeling a little dissatisfied.

"Well, well, don't take it out on Frey. At least you showed a lot of progress during the exercise. Your ability to use fire breath has grown tremendously and you also learned other magic as well, right?" Alicia tried to calm Loeri down.

"Well, yeah ... Alright. I think it's at least worth it. But the old man would definitely experience something bad to her soon! Like a tripped toe or a tripped toe!" Outside the entrance of the Berlin room, Berlin suddenly sneezed... "ah! Choo! I'm sure the damn dragon cursed me!" Berlin kicked the tree in front of him and a sharp pain ran through his legs. "Ouch!"

"Your Majesty! Are you okay!?" A young man came out of the tree line and rushed to Berlin.

"Yes, Your Majesty! I'll make sure nothing happens to him and he arrives at the capital safely." The boy lowered his head before turning around and leaving.

"That boy was always very serious. But Blake Roseland will be a name in the future that everyone will know." Berlin shook his head and then slowly limped to the door in the tree, opened it and walked in.

Alicia walked onto the main road which was just a dirt road but was more well maintained. Unlike the village road that was full of holes and mounds, the main road of the Alastine Kingdom remained smooth without any holes. Alicia looked into the distance. He knew his journey now would be a long one. But when he thought about the adventures he might have been going through all this time, he felt a little excited. Thinking of this, Alicia shouted: "Forward!"

"Forward! Hehe!" Frey imitates Alicia's actions. Loeri simply yawns and finds a comfortable spot on Alicia's head and goes to sleep.

A few weeks passed and Alicia stopped walking when it was night outside. If the moon was out, he would walk a little more because the moon lit up the path in front of them quite well. But on a cloud-covered moon night, it was so hard to look ahead that Alicia would use the mini room Berlin had made for her to sleep in at night. It was made to look like an ordinary stone so Alicia would put it beside the tree and cast a spell. This allowed the three to eat and sleep quietly as there was a one-bedroom cottage inside the room.

Alicia loved it because it reminded her of the cottage in the Berlin room in the woods. It feels warm and comfortable to be in it. It was not until the beginning of the fourth week that Alicia heard another human voice nearby. Unfortunately, what he heard was not exactly what he expected. "Please! Don't touch my sister!"

"Huhahahah! Shout all you want no little girl will come and save you now. Your guard is on their last legs and your sister and you will be a slave***we are in our nest! The boys will love the new fresh meat. Hopefully, you will last long enough to cheer them all up! AHAHAHAHAHA!”

Alicia silently walked past the tree line to see the carriage being attacked by what looked like bandits. There were about twenty-five bandits and the guards trying to protect the two young women in the carriage were preoccupied with fending off the other bandits while some bandits dragged the two girls out of the carriage. But looking at this scene Alicia's face turned black as one of the seemingly fifteen year old girls fought with all her might under one of the bandits!
