The End and Beginning of Everything

"Man!"

"Game Points! Higuchi Akari won!"

A wide smile formed on Akari's face, this was the deciding match before going national. Akari bowed to her opponent before turning around and walking towards her team. He took off his helmet and looked at all the happy faces in front of him.

"Akari, that's amazing!" Ito Miya, Akari's childhood friend and manager of her kendo team. They have known each other since they were two years old and since then they have been inseparable.

"I'm glad I could win. If I'm one second slower, my neck could be cut off." Akari said as she took the towel in Miya's hand and wiped the sweat off her forehead.

"Well, talking again like this is all real. I think only you would think in the sense of actually dying during the competition." Miya rolled her eyes and took out a water bottle for Akari to drink.

"If I don't think like that, I'll most likely lose. That's why when I attack, I persuade myself to think that if I don't attack first, I will die by their sword." Akari had always dreamed of one day becoming a knight. But unfortunately, the closest thing he could get to become a knight in Japan was kendo.

He is fifteen now and he started kendo when he was five years old. His passion for swords did not come from samurai films but movies about their kingdoms and knights. He was even famous at the police station because some thugs he beat up with his wooden sword reported him. But this did not stop him from helping those in need.

"Let's go get some rest, they'll have a closing ceremony soon and then we can go home!" Miya quickly pushed Akari to sit down.

Feeling a little tired from his match, Akari did not complain. He went and sat down and waited for everything to be done so he could go home. After everything was done Akari and her team all flocked to the bus to get home.

"Sleep Akari, I'll wake you when we get to the rest." Said Miya with a smile. He knew Akari would fall asleep at any moment.

"mmm... Thank you, Miya. I slept less last night because I was nervous. So this is a much-needed break." The journey home by bus would take three hours so Akari closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

*Bumping!*

Akari was shaken as her body was thrown from one side of the bus to the other. His head hit the window, breaking the window into thin lines that looked like spider webs. Blood dripped from the side of his head down his cheek. With his head and shoulders killing him, he looked at his surroundings in a somewhat daze. He saw many of his teammates crying in pain. Behind him was Miya who was looking out the window.

"Akari! The car will fall but there's a baby in it!" Miya yells.

Akari looked out the window to see a small car half sitting on the edge of a cliff and half in the air. The cliffs of the place were cliffs straight down to the rocky ground below. Seeing that the person behind the wheel fainted and the car would slip and fall at any time. Akari walked to the back of the bus as quickly as possible and jumped out of the emergency exit.

Akari looked at the car that was limping on the edge of the cliff. Just a little change and the whole car will slip and fall. Without wasting a second Akari looked into the car without touching it. The baby was in the baby's seat in the correct position while crying. The driver, who appeared to be the baby's father, fainted or died. Akari doesn't know where she's from. He could see a large amount of blood flowing on the steering wheel.

Seeing that there was no time to waste, Akari slowly opened the back door. The car slides a few centimeters before resting again. This scared Akari because she was very close to saving the baby. Her only thought was that she needed to save the baby!

"Acari!" Miya appeared from behind him and shouted.

"Miya, I'll carefully reach out and try to release the baby. After I release the baby, I'll give it to you. The man in front seemed unresponsive. I've called him a few times." Akari said as she carefully grabbed the back seat.

Unfortunately, that easy plan was not as easy as he thought. The seatbelt holding the baby in his car seat was stuck under the car seat itself. He had no choice but to carefully climb into the back seat. After a little careful work, he was finally able to remove the seat belt. But now he was completely in the back seat of the car.

Lifting the baby from the car seat Akari said: "Miya, be careful to take the baby to a safe distance."

"I'll do it but Akari please be careful! Every wrong move and the whole car will fall!" Miya was frightened, she could see the car slowly sliding to the edge.

"I'll do it! I'll see if I can wake you up first. I can't just leave it." Hearing Akari's words, she frowned because she knew the car would not last much longer, but he also knew that his childhood friends would never leave someone alone if they were in danger! With no other choice, Miya carefully picked up the baby and retreated to a safe distance.

Akari slowly leaned forward and reached out to shake the man. "Master! The master! If you're still alive, please wake up!" He was afraid to lean too far forward or he might cause the entire car to fall to the ground so he could not reach far enough to check the man's pulse.

Little did Akari know that her slight tremor was enough to make the man open his eyes. He looked at the cliff floor below and became frightened. She was in a daze as she was frightened and removed her seatbelt.

"Gee! I don't want to die!"

After she shouted she saw that the back door was open and rushed to the opening to save her own life. He did not even realize that Akari was in the back seat. He even pushed it to the side and kicked it as it got out of the car and made it fly forward. Everything happened so suddenly that Akari had no time to react. He had been trying to stay still and not move too much so he was off guard. After being pushed to the side and kicked. His head that was already painful hit the windshield of the car. The sudden movement inside the car causes it to slide until the ground below it gives way making Akari and her car fall down!

"Acari!!!!" Miya's shrill screams sounded.

Akari only caught a glimpse of the ground before everything went dark….
