Berlin is Not Perfect

Berlin looked at Alicia for the last time and smiled warmly. He then gives her magic to clean the blood and mud from her and Loeri before disappearing. Several hours had passed before Alicia finally woke up. He felt a little dazed but other than that he was not tired anymore. The biggest thing was that his entire body was sick. "Ah... I seem to be pushing myself too much. But what happens to all the enemies?"

Alicia quickly got up and looked around attentively. But he did not see any signs of a living human or demonic beast. All he saw was Loeri running towards him. "Alicia, look at your feet."

Alicia looked down and saw a golden scroll. He leaned over and took it. As he did a stream of light came out from him and a small picture of Berlin formed in front of him. "Allicia! It seems you have found the scroll, good! Very nice! With this, you can now return. We'll discuss what the next steps are after you return. Inside the scroll was a teleportation magic inscription. All you have to do to use it is spread the scroll on the ground and get into the magic circle and you will return to the cottage. See you soon."

Alicia was so happy she didn't have to walk far back. It's been months since he left. But there's still one question left that needs to be answered. "Loeri, do you know how the other enemy died? I remember before fainting that they suddenly collapsed to the ground."

"Mother, an old man killed them! He catches Mom right before she's about to fall and tells Aunt Loeri to give you the scroll. She also told Aunt Loeri not to tell Mom that she did these things!" Frey who had been silent all this time came out of Alicia's hair and said.

Loeri looked at the little elf with her mouth wide open. That fucking elf spilled it all! Alicia could only laugh at Loeri's reaction. "So Mr Berlin killed the rest and told you not to say anything?"

"Yes, the old man said he was a little exaggerated so he killed those people. He asked me not to say anything but Frey had to go and tell you." Loeri.

"Why are you blaming Frey!? Frey wasn't told not to say anything to Mom! The old man only wanted Aunt to keep it a secret from Mom but never asked Frey!" Loeri heard Frey's words and was stunned for a moment as she thought, 'Right, that damn old man only asked me to keep it a secret from Alicia and not Frey! He must have forgotten Frey!'

Alicia laughed when she heard this. It seems like Master is not fully paying attention to details. So even he can make mistakes! Alicia laughed even harder knowing that her ever-scrupulous Master had actually made a mistake. "Well, at least now I know Master Berlin isn't perfect. All right, let's go home now."

After taking Loeri and putting it where it should be on top of her head and checking to make sure Frey is ready, Alicia rolls the scroll to the ground. It seemed like there was nothing special about the scroll itself. Even the magic circle drawn on it didn't seem to be done in a special way. It just looks like it was drawn in plain ink. Seeing that she did not know how it made Alicia decide she would ask Berlin about it later.

Alicia stepped into the magic circle and waited for a few seconds before suddenly a flash of bright light filled her eyes causing her to shut it tightly. As the light dimmed, Alicia opened it once more and found herself standing in front of the entrance of the cottage.

Alicia smiled and shouted: "Master Berlin, I'm home!"

Berlin, who already knew that Alicia was at home, walked out of her study with a smile on her face. "It's good to see you back! I'm..."

"Mother, it was the old man who told Aunt Loeri not to tell you she was around!" Frey flew out of his hiding place and pointed to Berlin.

Frey lowered his head and said in a small voice: "Sorry Mom, Frey won't do it again..." Before flying back and sitting on Alicia's shoulder while sulking from being scolded...

"Mh! Good girl!" After being praised, Frey formed a smile on his face and giggled.

Berline who was the one Frey talked about about her cheeks flushed red. She had completely forgotten about the little elf at the time she spoke to Loeri. “Ahem... "Oh! Mr Berlin, do we have any cloth?" Alicia just remembered that Frey doesn't have proper clothes.

"What's the fabric for?" Berlin asked.

"Frey doesn't have decent clothes and I don't have the right things to make it into something good during training. So I'm gonna make some real clothes for her to wear." Alicia explained.

"Hmm. Frey please come here." Berlin smiled and called Frey towards him.

Frey looked at Alicia with a gaze asking whether she should go or not. Alicia smiled and nodded her head. Seeing Alicia nod, Frey flew to Berlin. “Hmm, so.. Alicia let me handle this. I'm gonna ask somebody to make Frey some clothes to last a long time. It also includes underwear and shoes.”

Hearing that made Alicia smile. His master is a very good man. "Thank you, Mr. Berlin, but if it's too much I can make my own clothes."

"Alicia you are my student. Frey, call you mother, so she's considered your son. This makes him part of our family and as your master, I will help in any way I can. Asking someone to make clothes for Frey is very simple. They'll be ready for him when you three finish cleaning. Go now!" For Berlin, it is very easy to make this kind of clothing. He just needed magic to make it. He only asked Frey to come to him so that he could secretly give protection magic to the little elf.
