Phantasia: The Princess Knight
Go Without Goodbye

Alicia panicked and did not know what to say. Only after she heard Dena's muffled words did she finally understand why Dena was crying. "Thank you so much for saving us. Otherwise, I would have lost my chastity due to some dirty bandits. If you don't show up, I'll kill myself so I don't have to bear the shame!"

Rose approached and rubbed her sister's back. Alicia was silent and smiling. “Luckily I passed. It may have been our destiny to meet. Let me heal your wounds.”

The green light enveloping the two girls healed the wounds and scratches on the two girls. "Here it is, good as new."

"Alicia, we really don't know how to thank you." Dena who finally calmed down again said once more.

"I just did what anyone who aspires to be a knight would do." replied Alisia.

Rose's eyes that were on the side were glued to the top of Alicia's head. Loeri had tried to ignore the little girl's gaze, but she began to feel annoyed that she couldn't help but yell: "You know, it's rude to stare at such a person."

Rose ignored Loeri's nagging and pulled Dena's sleeve while shouting: "Dena, Dena look at the white beast talking!"

"Rose stop it, it's not polite! It's Alicia's pet, you can't stare at her and point at her!" Dena smothered Rose's mouth and scolded Rose to the point of making Rose pout.

Loeri's face turned black after repeatedly being called a pet, animal, and it. He was about to shout again when he felt a rustle beneath him and Frey stuck out his head. "Mama, hot! Aunt Loeri is overheating! Bleh, sweat!"

Rose's eyes glared as she looked at Frey. Frey did not notice the people around him as he shook his body and rubbed his wings. Even Dena could not keep her face straight when she saw Frey. "This alicia?"

“This is Frey, my adopted daughter. She's sweet, isn't she?” Alicia poked Frey making him giggle.

"Hehe, Frey knows she's cute, Mom always calls Frey cute." Frey stood proudly with his hands on his hips and nose raised. This caused everyone to laugh.

With a bright mood, Alicia thought it was time to leave. "We need to see Rick and the other guards. They're so worried about you."

"Rick, we're fine now, please get up. You and the others all risked their lives to protect us. Rose and I thank you for your debt. Thank you for protecting us and I'm sorry for the loss of your comrades." Dena lowered her head to Rick and the other two guards.

"Young lady, it is our duty to protect you. I'm just sorry we couldn't do a good job. Thank goodness, young lady Alicia is here. If it wasn't for him, something worse could have happened." Rick waved his hand at Dena. He did not dare to accept his mercy if he failed in his work. "Talking about young lady Alicia, where did she go?"

Dena and Rose realize that Alicia has disappeared. They felt a little disappointed because they couldn't even say a proper goodbye. But to Dena and Rose Harper, Alicia had left a lasting impression on the two.

The person in question Alicia had used her wind magic to speed up the path, far enough away while she was spreading her detection magic to the fullest. He wanted to make sure the road ahead was completely free of bandits so that Dena and Rose could reach the goal safely wherever it was.

"Alicia if you're going to annihilate every bandit group on the way to the capital to keep the two girls safe, why don't you just hitch a ride with them?" Loeri asked.

"As a knight, I don't need to receive any awards. Plus I can move more freely if I don't need to protect anyone. If I was held in the middle of a battle and the girls were placed in the same place I was again because I was tied up in a fight, wouldn't I fail as a knight for not protecting those under my charge? By wiping out all the bandits along the main road at least I can make the road clear for them." Alicia can also move faster on her own. He would lose valuable training time if he got stuck in the carriage. There was still a lot to prepare for before the squire exam so he had to make sure he was in the capital a few months before.

"so. It's true you can move faster than a train. I will support you to the best of my ability." Loeri said as she lowered her head and closed her eyes.

"Thank you, Loeri!" Alicia smiled as she drove. Frey sat on Alicia's shoulder enjoying the wind that hit her face.

Alicia had been traveling for almost three days until she finally detected some movements with her detection magic. With his current magic power, he was now able to detect objects that were a few kilometers away. "Loeri, did you also detect them?"

"Yes, they seemed to be hiding in a small cave within the forest. Most likely a group of bandits." replied Loeri.

"Alright, you know the drill let's get rid of them."
