Phantasia: The Princess Knight

Phantasia: The Princess Knight
Knight Virtue

After a filling lunch, Alicia returned to the training area where Berlin was and made some practice dolls. "Now, Alicia, before I see how well you swing the sword, I want you to sit here for a few minutes while I discuss the most important part of being a knight. The seven virtues of chivalry. Now, do you know what the seven virtues of knights are?"

"Ma.mmm..." Alicia tapped her chin with her little finger while thinking for a moment. He was not sure if the virtue of knights in this world was the same as those on earth during the medieval era. But he still decided to say it. "Courage, justice, mercy, generosity, faith, glory, and hope?"

"Close! But it's not enough to get there. Courage, strength, no mercy, generosity, justice, glory, and hope! Courage is having the courage to face any dangerous situation! Even at the cost of your own life!

"The power to defeat your enemies and stand above those who try to harm your king, his land, and his people!

"There is no mercy to anyone who dares to try to harm your king, his land, and his people!

"Benevolence to help people in your land and help if there is a need!

"Justice to enforce the laws of the land handed down by your king! To bring them to justice for committing crimes against your king, his land, and his people!

“Beauty to be a role model for everyone around you.

“And last hope. In the eyes of the people of this land, knights were the stars that shone at night in times of need. You are the symbol that the king did not leave his people.” Berlin looked at the shining eyes of the young man, the girl in front of him and nodded. He felt good that he accepted all of this.

"Give this virtue to the heart, you need to know it for the test of the bodyguard. I'll teach you how to read and write these virtues later. Now that we have discussed the virtues, let's see how well you swing the sword. " Berlin wanted to know how well this young girl could swing a sword. Berlin took out a lighter training sword that weighed only about two kilograms and handed it to Alicia.

Alicia, whose eyes were twinkling, reached out to take the sword, but as soon as she felt its weight, her eyes dimmed. He held the sword in his hand and looked at Berlin questioningly. "Master Berlin do you have anything heavier? It's umm..." Not finishing his sentence, he balanced the sword at the tip of his little finger. He thought it would be better to point out why he was asking such a question rather than saying it.

"Master Berlin what do you mean?" Alicia was puzzled she had no idea what her magic bag had to do with her power.

"Simple, your Magi Sack enhances your physical abilities. I didn't think of this when I handed you the first sword. A knight's sword could weigh over five thousand kilograms. Also, never judge the weight of the sword by what. "Looks. A dagger the size of your palm can weigh the same. This could be caused by many factors, ranging from gravity magic to the material from which the sword was made. Now that you have the sword, let's take a look at your swing" Berlin's words really get Alicia excited for two reasons. One of them was because no matter the shape or design of the sword, its weight would never be a problem. And the second was because Magi Sack would improve her abilities a little. This meant that as he nurtured his Magi Sack, he would grow stronger and stronger!

Alicia quickly took a stand. It was the same attitude he always used when practicing swinging his sword in his backyard. Alicia could not help but remember her family on earth as soon as she took a stand. His father would always teach him while his mother would watch from the side with a smile on her face. He wondered what they were doing now. If they give up his death, okay. He could only hope that they could still live a fulfilling life.

A few tears streamed down Alicia's face but she did not say a word as she raised the wooden sword above her head and swung it down. Berlin, who was at the side watching, was very surprised at how good the posture of the girl was as she swung her sword down. Each swing of the sword was steady and straight. There was also a lot of power behind his swing. Every time the sword was swung to the ground under his feet, the world scattered everywhere from the wind generated from the swing. His entire existence as he swung the sword was something that only those who had trained for so many years could achieve but this girl... It seemed like he instinctively knew!

Berlin had no idea that Alicia had been training with the sword for almost ten years ago on earth. So for him he sees Alicia as a child prodigy. Someone who would not only be at the top of the world in magic but maybe even a sword! Berlin decided right then and there he needed to expand Alicia's training to a point that would even be difficult for a veteran knight.

"Alicia, after today we will change your training schedule. You said earlier you weren't afraid of a little trouble, right?" Berlin asked.

"Yes, Mr. Berlin, I am not afraid of adversity as long as it brings me closer to my goal of becoming a knight!" Alicia answered seriously. The expression of determination on Alicia's face was very pleasing to Berlin.

"Good! Then tomorrow you will start training from hell!" A huge sneaky smile appeared on Berlin's face. He's already planned everything.

Alicia looked at the smile on Berlin's face and felt that she might have bitten off more than she could chew. But it is too late now and if it will allow him to achieve his goal sooner he has no problem suffering for it. As long as he could become a knight he did not care about anything else.

It was only the next morning that he learned what Berlin meant by a little difficulty.
