Loeri remained by Alicia's side until she finally woke up an hour later. Alicia's eyes slowly opened. He rubbed his head and looked towards Loeri. "Loeri what happened?"

"You stupid human! How could you try to eat the magic core!? You almost died!" Loeri shouted, her small eyes filled with tears. Loeri jumped into Alicia's lap and thrust her nose into Alicia's stomach.

Alicia smiled and hugged Loeri. They had only been together for a few days, but it seemed like they had known each other their entire lives. "Sorry Loeri, I didn't know it was going to happen. At first I thought I wouldn't be able to bite him. I'll never do it again."

"Huh! Better not..." Loeri flapped her little wings and flew over Alicia's head and found a comfortable place to relax.

Alicia looked at her now clean clothes and skin. "Loeri how can we clean everything?"

Loeri who was about to take a deep breath choked on Alicia's question. "Ahems... It happened when the Magicules went crazy after you fainted."

"Oh. I could have sworn Mr. Berlin showed up..." Alicia's head was a bit foggy, all she clearly remembered was the pain radiating all over her body and then fainting.

"T-No, it's just me all this time." Loeri hopes she can tell Alicia the truth about Berlin but she has already promised and Berlin also says she might be in danger if she finds out.

After speaking for a bit longer, the two went to look for a place to stay. They were able to find a small cave not too far from where they were fighting the horned wind python. With Alicia's new speed with wind magic, she was much faster than before as she traversed the forest. When Alicia first entered the cave, she was surprised to see that the cave returned deep enough. He used detection magic to inspect the inside of the cave. He did not detect the demonic beast inside but he seemed to have caught something else.

"Loeri can you feel what's inside this cave? I picked up something but it didn't seem like it was a demonic beast." asked Alicia.

"No, I don't feel anything dangerous. We can check it out and see it." replied Lorie.

The cave was very dark and damp. The sound of water droplets from stalagmites could be heard everywhere. Alicia continued until she saw a strange sight. He had come to what looked like a dead end but the walls looked rippling like water. Alicia who was curious, stretched out her hand and touched the wall. To his surprise, it felt like he was touching the surface of a lake or pond. It was cold to the touch and almost felt wet but his hands were not wet at all.

"Loeri, do you know what this is?" ask Alicia.

"If I'm not mistaken, this is the barrier of the fairy race. But they should have disappeared centuries ago! They haven't been seen since the Devil's War." replied Loeri.

"Devil War? Loeri how do you know all this?" Alicia finds that Loeri is very knowledgeable. He seemed to know everything except the forest he was in.

"We dragons were born with the knowledge of our ancestors. So we're the ones asking if you need to know certain things. It was just that some areas were unknown as this world changed over time. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known it. had been sitting on that barrier all this time." Loeri knows what Alicia is thinking. So he made sure to explain everything.

"Then what is this Devil's War?" Alicia knew there were many races in this world. He learned from Berlin that this world was called Phantasia. Phantasia has many living creatures. Some are no longer there and some have just appeared. Among them were Fei, Elves, and Dwarves and many more. There were also demonic beasts that usually lived deep within the forest. But he had never heard of demons.

“More than ten thousand years ago there was a very powerful being who lived here in Phantasia. There are two groups. The good side, that is the God race and then there is the bad side, the Devil race. The gods gave birth to other races of the humanoid race. Some are created accidentally and others are created intentionally. The only humanoid race they did not create was humans. The Gods did not enslave these new races, they gave them an area to cultivate their own community almost as an experiment in a sense. Gods were worshipped not only by the new race they created but also by humans. They saw them as beings who had great power and even built churches to worship them.

"One day, one of the Gods went crazy and started a massacre in the underworld. He was bathed in the blood of the people he killed and when the Gods stepped in to capture him, he was somehow able to slip away. Ten years after he disappeared, he reappeared but he no longer looked like he did before. This fallen god created many humanoid creations that ate the blood of others. They're very strong. This is the first demon.

"It is not known how he did it but he has created millions of these new demons. The gods and the humanoid race, forbidden together to fight demons. In the end, only half of the demons were annihilated and the fallen gods disappeared along with the other demons. It was a terrifying moment for both sides as many gods and half the humanoid population disappeared. The gods also disappeared after the war.

"Five years after that when the first demonic beast appeared, the area deep within the forest began to become a breeding ground for this new demonic beast. They are called demonic beasts because of their aggressive nature. The devil."
