Chapter 45
“Lauuutt!!!” I smiled broadly with my arms stretched out when I saw the sea before me.
A month after the Lieutenant's engagement with Widy made me want to not have to accept it which made me more late in the work. Mas Reihan who saw me like that started to worry a little and finally decided to take us all on vacation to the beach Baron in Gunungkidul.
Actually it was not only the engagement of the Lieutenant that made me busy myself into work, but the events a few days later that made me now become like a robot worker. Stress and a wrong diet made me relapse, which made me decide to go to the clinic for treatment. At that moment I accidentally saw Widy coming out of one of the rooms there, and it turned out to be the obstetrician's room.
It made me very surprised and curious, and somehow having the courage from where to make me decide to see the doctor and say that I was Widy's sister who made the doctor tell me what the fiancee was doing there.
“Because you are his sister, so I hope you can convince him not to abort his content.”
“Kan-dungan?”
“You don't know it yet? Your sister has been pregnant 4 weeks.”
Instantly I was struck by lightning hearing the doctor's explanation that Widy was pregnant with the fruits of her love with the Lieutenant. I came out of the doctor's room with a limp body, and an insane heart knew the truth. Some time I just sat in the waiting room of the clinic with a photo of the USG that the doctor had given me. The results of the USG that Widy deliberately left on the doctor's desk, as if she did not want it.
I saw the photo, it didn't look anything but a small black circle. My index finger stroked it with a chest beating violently, considering that the circle was the baby of the man I loved with another woman. My heart aches with teary eyes considering that the Lieutenant once told Mamah, “If Mamah wants a baby, then only my grandson ma Za.”
At that time I blushed shamefully and happily imagined we would give our parents grandchildren, and now she would give Mamah and Papah grandchildren but not from my flesh and blood. My little heart didn't want to believe that because the Lieutenant I knew would always ask my permission even if only to hug or kiss me, but now… the USG photo was the proof that made me realize that this was the end of our story.
“You like?” tanya Mas Reihan who is now standing beside me while the others have started playing water.
“Suka, in Bandung there is no sea because,” I replied with a big smile.
I opened my sandals and held them up to feel the soft sand between my toes. Right now I'm wearing shorts, a light blue t-shirt, with a thin white cardigan to avoid direct sunlight hitting my hand, not missing my sunglasses just to make me look cool, in addition to protecting my eyes from the sun.
I sat on the beach chair under a colorful umbrella watching my friends laughing playing in the water I covered on my camera phone.
“Why not play water with them?” ask Mas Reihan who is sitting on the chair that I am.
“Later, I want to enjoy the view first.”
Mas Reihan nodded in understanding then like I was enjoying the view of the sea with a gradation of blue and black sand in front of us who were very beautiful.
“I've always loved natural scenery like this.” I broke the silence making Mas Reihan stare at me, “I prefer to go to places that present natural scenery rather than crowds… yes, although sometimes I also like to hang out in the mall like other young people. but go to places that provide natural scenery gives more value to me.”.
“In Bandung you often travel to such places?”
“Iya, Arga and I usually ride a motorbike around Bandung without knowing the direction of the destination and eventually end up in Dago or Lembang, if you have money we will eat at one of the cafes that are there, but if you no longer have money we will just hang out at the barbecued corn carpenters accompanied by a glass of milk coffee.”
I smiled considering those times, the times when repetition and exams were the hardest and spending time with friends while laughing was the most precious thing.

I nodded with a smile remembering when at the station the Lieutenant once discussed Arga in front of Mas Reihan and Widy.

Mas Reihan and I stared at the sound and made me look at it when I saw Widy walking with the Lieutenant beside her. As usual, the Lieutenant looks handsome with a blue dongker shirt, faded blue jeans, blue hat and sunglasses, while Widy looks beautiful with a knee-length dress of pink flowers, without being commanded my eyes immediately looked at his stomach which still looked flat there was no change in the slightest.
“Why can you guys be here?” mas Reihan asked with a big smile, while I just stared at them behind my sunglasses.
“Iya, last night I said that Mas Rei same others want to come here and I said I want to come but can not be the same Mas Reihan because this is an office event, because it's a, eh yahunya Mas Yudha belaianbelaian first plane so I can take me here.”
“Mbak Kekey! Here!” lulu's yelling made me instantly stand up and open my cardigan and sunglasses.
“Bent!” I put my cardigan and my glasses on the chair and then ran to play water with the others.
I laughed when I saw Kris throw Erna into the water, getting her body soaked, but now Mas Angga, Kris and Lulu who were soaking wet stared at me with a grin that made me instantly retreat.
“Oh! N-no! Don't come any closer!” Shouted while preparing to run away when I saw them getting closer.. “Aaaaaahhhh!” I ran away when Mas Angga and Kris came after me and it didn't take long for them to catch me.

As soon as my body was thrown into the water making my body feel the cold and salty of the sea water, I immediately stood up with my body drenched making everyone laugh.
“Aahh... watch out yes!!!” I lined up all of them but had to go back to feeling the coldness of the water when my body was thrown back by Kris into the water, and I could hear their laughter getting louder seeing me splash into the water a second time.
Today I just want to have fun, laugh freely even with a heart that is no longer intact. I want to prove to myself and to her that I can still laugh and rejoice even without her by my side.
The sun was getting high stinging me who was still sitting on the sand looking at the ocean with calm waves, a little more to make my heart feel calm.
“You better take a shower now, we have lunch first.”

“Thank you,” I said after standing up and immediately joined the others to shower and change clothes.
Now we sit in one of the restaurants located not far from the beach, enjoying lunch as well as the view of the sea from above. I sat at the very end with my eyes staring into the distance as if I wasn't interested in anything at our table right now.
“Mbak Widy meet Mas Yudha where?” ask Risma curiously.
