We went back inside but now we sit down to join my parents in the living room, before Dirga finally came to bring the chicken pecel and we moved to the dining room. As usual, it seems like there are friends of Dad who are not stopping to talk about the military with the Lieutenant, especially after knowing that in two months he will start training Kopassus.
“Kopassus training is very heavy, extraordinary weight, from the sea, forest to the air we have to master everything. Even many outside soldiers say that the training of Kopassus is inhumane and very scary, but it is a picture of the real war. When we become prisoners of war or ******* will treat us as courteously as guests? No, they'll torture us in such a way if we get caught. That's why Kopassus is feared even by the world army, 1 member of Kopassus is equivalent to 5 or even more members of the ordinary army. The world increasingly admitted to the elite of Kopassus when the hijacking of planes in Thailan in 81, the army there surrendered when facing the hijackers, the, until finally our country sends Koppassus members and it only takes approximately 3 minutes to free Garuda aircraft from the hands of the hijackers. Since then Kopassus entered the top five ranks of the world's elite army.”
The Lieutenant listened to Dad's story seriously while I and Mom who had very often heard father's stories about the greatness of the TNI were more interested in spending the chicken pecel with cashew nut sambal and fried cabbage owned we, Dirga who already knew it would immediately escape with the reason not hungry and prefer to play PS with Aldi.
While the Lieutenant's chicken has not been touched in the slightest because every time he will start eating, Dad will again tell the story to make the Lieutenant again undo his intention to eat and refocus listening to Dad.
“Udah chat! Kasian tuh Yudha has not eaten from earlier,” mother protest made Dad realize that the rice on the Lieutenant's plate has not been reduced.
“Lho! Why not eat? Don't like it?”
“Like Well.”
“Terus why not eat?”
“Where to eat every time he wants to bribe Dad even story,” martial mother while standing, “Dad make it easy to eat? Now we go ahead to watch TV, let the kids eat.”
The orders of the mother who would not want to be obeyed immediately Dad. When outside the father may be known as a retired TNI with the rank of Colonel, but in the house the mother is the owner of the highest order.
“Hehe.. sorry Daddy sometimes likes to forget the time when chatting military.”
The Lieutenant nodded with a smiling understanding and started eating. I sat in front of the Lieutenant watching him who even looked cool while eating, and was more and more amazed to see his way when dealing with my parents.
“Why smile-smile yourself?”
“Engga,” I replied with a big smile making the Lieutenant laugh.
“It's not the first time you've seen me eat, Za.”
“This is the first time I have seen clearly, usually Mas Yudha sits beside me.”
The Lieutenant nodded as he said, “Keren huh?” I immediately laughed.
“Ya Allah.. Mas Yudha is very different, if in front of parents very polite, in front of other rich people who are cold authoritative, even though the original. hahaha.”.
“Why original?”
“Originally narcissistic same mombal.”
“Hahaha.. It's only for you the zombies too, and it's not narcissistic, Za, that's a fact.”
“Practice that Mas Yudha is really narcissistic.”
The Lieutenant laughed as he finished his meal.
“Tomple which flight time?”
“Jam 4.”
I nodded in understanding, the Lieutenant had finished eating but we were still sitting in front of the dining table. For a while we were just silent with eyes looking at each other then smiling before finally laughing for no reason.
“Why laugh?”
“Mas Yudha also why laugh?”
“Because see you laugh.”
“Hahaha.. We laugh together.”.
“Hehehe...Za!”.
I raised my eyebrows when I heard the Lieutenant's voice now sounding solemn.
“I feel I'm sick.”
“Mas Yudha is sick? What hurts?” I started to panic when I heard she was sick.
“Hant.”
Between believe and not I caught the Lieutenant still looking at me seriously.
“Mas Yudha... have heart disease?”
“No.”
“Terus?”
“But the power is wrong with my heart.”
“Mas Yudha checked with doctor.”
“Why?”
“Because my heart will beat great even as it will explode just every look at you.”
“Aaahhh!! Not funny!”
“Serious, Za, what else if you see you smile or laugh like my heart has to work extra hard.”
“Hahaha.. if so do not see.”.
“If I don't see you, it will be even worse.not just the heart, but my heart, eyes and mind will hurt because of missing you.”.
“Hahahaha... have ah!”
I stood up while carrying a dirty plate towards the washbasin, not really because I wanted to wash my hands but because I wanted to hide my face which must have been flushed from the Lieutenant. But apparently he followed her to the kitchen to wash his hands.
We now stand side by side in front of the washbasin while washing our hands. Believe me maybe it's normal for just two people to wash their hands in the sink, but for me, standing that close to the Lieutenant, it makes my blood rustle, and it was the most romantic handwashing show I've ever felt hehehe.
“The plate is not washed all?”
“No need, tomorrow morning Bi Yati come to help mom.”
The Lieutenant nodded in understanding and we returned to the living room to join Father and Mother before he finally left. And as usual after he got home he sent me a message to let me know he was there, and continued our conversation until he called just to say good night and good dreams.
The next day around 1 o'clock the Lieutenant came to the house to return to Palembang, after previously had a chat with Father and Mother, finally around 2:30 by using Dad's car, and finally, I drove him to the airport which only takes 10-15 minutes from home if it is not jammed.
But that day the road was quite jammed, probably because of the holiday season so many tourists from outside the city who came by private car, and we arrived at Husein Sastranagara airport about 3 hours more, there are still a few minutes before the Lieutenant leaves.
Not many words that we said at that time, we just stared at each other with hands grasping each other felt heavy to let go of each other.
“I'll be home if it's holiday.”
I nodded with a smile.
“Wait for me.”
I nodded back.
“Please keep your heart from getting hurt or sad because now I am the owner of your heart.”
I laughed at his words.
“I'm serious, Za.. I won't forgive the person who made your heart hurt or sad.”
“Iya.. Mas Yudha also.”
“I what?”
“Be careful, take care not to get hurt.”
The Lieutenant nodded, “Daaan...???”
“Hahaha... daaan.. keep his heart also not to be taken by other women.”.
“How can my heart be taken away from another woman, while my heart is yours completely.”
“Hahaha..”.
“Serious, Za,” he said with a big smile.
“Iya,” I said with a reddened face, making the Lieutenant pinch my cheek that was getting down in shame.
The voice of the speaker telling for the Bandung-Palembang flight has been heard, which means the Lieutenant must enter immediately.
“I have to go now.”
I nodded trying to smile, “Be careful.”
The Lieutenant nodded with a smile.
“When I come home, I will make sure you become my lover, Za.”
“I will wait for that time.”
The Lieutenant smiled gently, and though heavy we finally let go of our grasp for a while until we finally met again with even greater feelings of love and longing.
