Not Love But Married

Not Love But Married
Rania again

The sun had already begun to rise, forcing its bright light to barge through the tightly shut gaps of Arsha's bedroom curtains.

"God.", Arsha jerked up from her sleep, her sweat flowing from between her black hair. His breath was hunting, and his gaze was circulating staring all over the corner of his room.

'Huuhh.. turned out to be just a dream.', his mind was relieved.

Her heart was still beating fast, Arsha was holding her chest hoping that her heartbeat could be normal again.

'What dream is that? Why is Rania in my dream.. ? That was Rania.'. It was so clear in her dream that Rania stood under the waterfall as if she was waiting for her arrival.

Arsha shook her head quickly, trying to expel her memories from the dream she had just experienced. Then glanced at the clock on the nightstand, it was already 08.47. Last night he woke up because his nightmares were always coming and for five years it haunted him. And then you can fall asleep again after almost dawn.

Arsha rushed down from her bed, her throat was thirsty and her body felt as exhausted as when walking in the field thatch of her dream earlier. He walked out of the room, towards the first floor of his mother's house.

Once in the dining room, Arsha immediately took a glass and filled it with cold water from the dispenser in the dining room. And in one gulp, the cold water in the glass instantly ran out. Arsha sighed, trying to dampen the thump of her heart that was still beating irregularly.

"Toy drinking while sitting dong, Sha".

Arsha turned her body to face her mother who was standing behind her. His eyes immediately rounded to see the appearance of his mother this morning who was neat and looked very beautiful and graceful as usual.

"Why? Doesn't fit?", asked Mama Hanum when he saw the surprise of his son with his appearance.

"Where is Mommy going to dress like that?", asked Arsha curiously.

"You want to study, when you want to go to the market with a gini kayak dress?!", replied mama Hanum briefly.

Arsha was still staring at mama Hanum from top to bottom.

"Where's Sha? Mama don't fit wearing a gini shirt? It's Rania's dress of choice.".

'Rania again. ', Arsha's inner heart. Why is it all about Rania now, and it's like she's spinning around in her life. Even his own mama is now in the circle around Rania.

Mama Hanum twisted her body in front of Arsha, then ruffled her waist waiting for her son's assessment. Mama Hanum wears a robe with a wide cut and a long veil covering her chest. Very beautiful and looks as beautiful as ever.

"Mommy is always fit to wear any shirt" said Arsha trying to please mama Hanum.

"Ah can you, but this one is suitable for the study?".

"Mommy sure you want to study?!", asked Arsha in disbelief.

During this time his family was not too concerned with worship and all things related to Islam. Despite their status as a Muslim family, none of them had the right Islamic status.

Modern family reflection that does not care about the afterlife later. For them the most important thing is the world with all its contents.

Mama Hanum sighed softly, "You don't believe mama wants to study?".

Mama Hanum sat in the chair right in front of Arsha, her face visibly disappointed by the response of her disbelieving son. Arsha shifted the chair in front of her mother, then sat opposite to mama Hanum.

"Where do you want to study?", asked Arsha slowly, afraid to offend her mother again.

"We have an invitation from the home, my mother has not been to the home for a long time. Ever since your dad died, mom hasn't been there again. Back when your papa was still around, mama always went to your papa nemenin home. But now mama has no more friends to the home. ", said mama Hanum sad, her head lowered in holding back the crying that will soon break.

Arsha immediately pulled her mother into his arms.

"Mama kangen with your papa, Sha. ", mama Hanum's cries immediately broke in Arsha's arms.

"Papa must have calmed down there, mom. ", said Arsha slowly while rubbing the back of his mother hoping to ease her mother's cries.

Arsha sighed softly, "Sorry, mom. I've never been there before.".

"When you go there now with mom, you've never been to a parlor, Sha? Your papa would be happy if you would continue to take care of the parlour.".

Arsha looked at her mother who was looking at her expectantly. All this time he had never seen and visited the parlour. Panti which has been established by his papa since he was still in High School. Papa Indra Wiguna set up a social orphanage named 'Panti Tali Kasih'. The orphanage that can accommodate as many as 100 children, and has managed to eradicate most of them residents of the orphanage, to plunge and get out of the orphanage with independent status.

After the death of Indra Wiguna, the orphanage still continues to run as before, and even more developed with the number of donors who donated to the orphanage, until now it has developed into a modern home. Of course Arsha also still provides an annual budget from the company for the orphanage.

"Please be with you, Sha, continue your papa's kindness. It's time you thought about the people around you, Sha. Mama sure, you're a good kid like your papa.".

Arsha closed her eyes tightly, breathing deeply until oxygen filled her chest cavity.

"Well, mommy wait a minute. I'll take a shower and change for a while.".

A wide smile immediately rose from mama Hanum's lips, her eyes glazed over at her boy. So happy to see Arsha little by little turning into a better person.

"Well, that's dong... If mommy smiles so much prettier than crying like before", Rayu Arsha tried to comfort her mother.

"Maybe don't make mama cry again dong, make mama smile continue like this.".

Arsha smiled at mama Hanum, "Arsha always wanted to make mommy smile. Whatever mommy asks, as long as it makes mommy happy, Arsha will definitely do for mommy.".

"Really?", asked mama Hanum happily.

Arsha nodded her head confidently.

"So mommy just asked you to get married, Sha. ".

Arsha's smile instantly disappeared from her face upon hearing mama Hanum's request.

"Mommy.... Why is that what is being asked for?!".

"Mom just asked for that, Sha. Is it wrong for your mom to ask you to get married?".

Arsha breathed out violently.

"Arsha will get married when it's time, mom.", said Arsha began to limp at the request of her mother.

"When?", asked mama Hanum to continue urging Arsha.

"Mom's... ".

"Do you need your mom to cry again? Mama's getting old, Sha. When will my mom wait?".

"Mommy.... ", Arsha clasped Hanum's mama's hand with both of her hands, "Arsha is definitely getting married, but not yet for the time being. Arsha promises to soon find a suitable partner with Arsha's choice.".

" Mama wait for your appointment, Sha. Mama hopes and prays that you will soon find the right soul mate for you. ".

" Yes mom, pray Arsha to quickly find a mate according to mommy's dream.".

Mama Hanum smiled happily at the promise of her son. His hopes little by little had been granted. Arsha has changed a lot. Now this boy has returned to being a child who cares for others, especially for his mother.

Mama Hanum is sure, Arsha will soon find a soul mate who can treat her past wounds.
