My Bow to the Destiny of Love

My Bow to the Destiny of Love

"Very long meeting. Tired of knowing." Ardian grumbled as Chayra got into the car. "Not to mention the fat friend who pretended to be a beauty even said I was like that."

Chayra looked at the man in wonder. Suddenly, his smile broadened.

It was Ardian's turn who looked at Chayra in surprise. "Why are you smiling like that? Yes, listen to that friend say I'm ugly. If he says, me and my lover are like the earth and the sky. You have to remember one thing. We are not married because of our wishes. Who wants to marry me." Gawking away while turning his eyes.

Chayra just silently held back a smile. Lazy if you have to respond to Ardian's remarks.

"Why are you silent?"

"In response to the words of an angry person will only add to the problem. Better to be quiet, let's not add to the burden." Chayra fiddles with her phone.

"When you talk to the other person." Ardian looked straight ahead. Start the car and run it slowly.

Chayra glanced at Ardian. "You advised me to see my interlocutor. You yourself cannot speak your words. You're talking to me, but you're not staring at me." Still busy with the phone.

"Males says the same thing." Ardian rolled his eyes in annoyance.

They were finally quiet with their respective busyness. Chayra with her phone and Ardian focused on driving.

Halfway through, Ardian remembers that he hasn't apologized to Chayra. Start thinking, apologize or not. But, he reconsidered, if not to apologize then he had to deal with his papi.

"Mm. I'd like to apologize." Finally the word came out too.

Chayra ignored Ardian's words. He was busy making voice calls with his friend. "Assynoltomodel.."

"Oh, astagfirullah, I didn't think there either. 'Afwan.tomorrow we will discuss again... Yes. yes. assalamualaikum.."

Chayra smiled looking at her phone screen. Shuffling slowly because something he had to explain to his two friends had been missed.

Ardian turned his gaze annoyed. He really felt ignored by the woman beside him.

Chayra was silent for a moment. "Mm.. sorry, what did you say? I forgot because there's a phone coming in."

"Udah passing. Just be careful if you say wrong with Papi or Mami later. I'll do the same calculation." Clenching his teeth held back the upset. It felt like he opened the door of the car and drove Chayra away, so that she could vent her frustration. However, he had to think twice to do that.

"Mm. I'm down here. If you want to go first, please. I want to perform the Zuhur prayer first. Mm.. do you also want to pray here?"

Ardian glanced at Chayra at a glance. "Gue wasn't doing prayers that day."

"God does not tell us to pray when we become obedient. Prayer is mandatory. Must be done either forced or sincere. If we're used to it, we'll get used to it."

"Lho went away. I'm not ready for that."

Chayra finally could only take a deep breath. "As far as you are then. Who oeny I've invited and warned you."

"Keep home what will I wear if I stay?" Asked Ardian with a flat expression. If not thinking of the consequences behind him, Ardian would have instantly left the girl.

"Public vehicles are still many. I used to take an angkot or taxi. Even riding ojol can also."

Ardian who was gulping down mineral water instantly choked. "Uhuk... uhuk..." pulled a tissue to wipe his mouth. "Well..! don't worry about talking. What the world says Sucipto Bagaskara's son-in-law riding an angkot. So if hanging out with classy people, let's not be tacky when being the daughter-in-law of a rich person like now."

"I am grateful for my life. I am grateful to live in a family that knows his religion well. And I am even more grateful, my grandfather Akmal Firda was your Papi boss in his time. But, thank God, my grandfather always taught simplicity to his grandchildren. So, even though my grandfather was rich, he hung out with anyone regardless of who, whose child and from which lineage."

"I'm sorry, assalamualaikum.." Chayra went down without waiting for Ardian's approval. His heart was tingled to hear Ardian's words earlier. Is riding an angkot a disgrace to the rich?

"Huh.." Chayra exhaled violently. He stopped a few times to calm his mind.

After the prayer, Chayra came out of the mosque. Cuddle on the side of the road to find a taxi. However, his eyes stopped on a white car parked not far from where he was standing. "Why is that guy still here. I asked him to come home." Mumbled to himself while walking closer to the car.

Chayra tapped on the car glass. Paste his face to see if the rider is inside or not.

"Come in! we're going home now." The word greeted Chayra as Ardian lowered the windshield of the car.

"I've asked you to go home. Why are you menu..."

"Shut up..!"

Chayra did not finish her sentence when Ardian snapped at her and asked her to shut up.

"Thank you." he said softly. Shift his eyes out the window.

That morning, Renata again forces her son to drive Chayra. However, both sides refused. Ardian reasoned to go to his campus because there was a Reunion. While Chayra reasoned that he would go long and pity Ardian if he had to fail to join the reunion just because he had to drive him like yesterday.

"Are you okay, son, if you go alone?" Renata had difficulty repeating the question.

"God willing, Ayra is fine, Mi. Mm. actually Ayra also wanted to ask permission from Mami."

"Izin for what?"

"Ayra wants to go to Mom's house and stay there, one night."

Renata was a little surprised to hear her daughter-in-law's request. "Why go there?"

"Ayra just misses Mom."

"Are you fighting with Ardian again?"

"Don't ask me that, Mi. We always fight. Not every day, but every time. If we were sitting together, there would be things that would make us argue."

Renata looked at his daughter-in-law pitya. "Are you going to complain about the behavior of Mami's son to your mother?"

Chayra smiled gently. "Ayra won't do that, Mi. A wife becomes clothes for her husband and vice versa. If Ayra complains about what Brother Ardian did to Mom. It's the same Ayra stripped Ayra's husband in front of Mom." Approaching her in-laws while patting her shoulders slowly. "Mommy believes in Ayra. God willing, that will not happen."

"Then..what would you say if your mother asked about you?"

Chayra smiled again. "Why are you worried about that. I'll say, I'm fine. Ardian Baskara has turned into a better man. Lying for good is okay, Mi?"

"Thank you, sweetheart. You really are a dream daughter-in-law. Mami is proud to have a daughter-in-law as good as you." Renata hugs the warm Chayra.
