Toward the truth part 3

A few days after his meeting with his two in-laws, Chayra became even busier. Mr. Sucipto and Ms. Renata often visit his house. Especially next week is the schedule for checking with the Obstetrician. Almost every day they visit makes Chayra happier waiting for the birth of the fruit of his love with Ardian.

Meanwhile, Ardian was getting busy. Even in the next few days he had to come outside the city to accompany Mr. Randi. He began to feel uneasy because it was certain that he could not accompany his wife to the Obstetrician.

That night, Ardian can go home faster because Dodit who accompanied Mr. Randi entertained guests from abroad.

"Why is it that when it comes to entertaining guests you never want to come, Yan?" Dodit finally asked because he was astonished by Ardian's attitude.

"No need to."

"What is your wife...." Not done yet Dodit spoke Ardian directly cut.

"My wife never interfered in work. Want me to go home at any hour he never protests. But, I'm the one who doesn't feel good about having to leave it for long. I left home from eight in the morning. Time has to go home the night continues. Anyway, I like to worry about hosting overseas guests. I'm afraid of falling again." Ardian turned his face away as he said that.

"You mean fall apart?" Dodit frowned.

Ardian smiled wryly. "I have a dark past, Dit. You didn't know me long ago. That's why you think I'm a very good person now."

"I'm confused you mean."

Ardian smiled wryly again. "You don't need to know. It is not important to discuss either. I want ablution first, I want to pray Isha before I go home." Avoiding to tell the past might be better thought Ardian.

"Yes, I also want to pray first. I'm afraid I'll go home tonight." They finally separated to take ablution water in the bathroom of their respective room. Actually Dodit was curious about Ardian's past. But asking too far is not good. Ardian's face already looked uncomfortable when discussing that earlier.

That night, Ardian breathed a sigh of relief after being able to return home quickly. Finally, Mr. Randi allowed him not to attend the event hosting guests that night. Mr. Randi understood why Ardian always refused after hearing the story from Mr. Sucipto a few days ago.

Dodit finally nodded weakly. Following in Mr. Randi's footsteps from behind.

Until home, Ardian did not find his wife waiting for him in the living room as usual. She was greeted by Kate who was fiddling with the laptop.

"Assynoltomodel.."

"Eh, w. wa'alaikumsalam.." Kate looked up when she heard Ardian's voice. He still sounded nervous as he answered his greetings. It turns out his tongue is still stiff to say or answer greetings.

"It's been a while?" Ardian sat down beside the man. Put down his briefcase and took a deep breath.

"Yes, I came by seven o'clock last night. It looks so lackluster. So tired of it."

"Capek. but at least I can make my own money without having to charge my parents again."

"Why come home at this hour. It's not that the company belongs to your parents."

Chayra was shocked when she saw her husband enter the room. "When does Ardian come home?"

"Have you talked to that brother's friend in the living room?"

Ardian smiled as he rubbed his wife's head. "Name's Kate, honey. Why would anyone not say his name? It's not as bad as it looks."

"I'm not reluctant, but rather I often forget. His name is funny as the name of the shoe. Gkgkgk..." Chayra giggled at her own words.

"You are just there. I'm gonna take a quick shower, sorry Kate waited a long time for me."

Chayra nodded. "I'll come out later with Brother."

Ardian simply replied with a nod of his head as he passed to the bathroom.

Chayra sat down next to her husband after they returned to the living room. He deliberately chose to sit on a different sofa with Kate so he could sit comfortably.

Kate shows a recording to Ardian and Chayra. But, he again closed the recording considering there was still Bian in the room. "Eh, Ar, wake up first is the sister-in-law. Poor him to sleep on the couch from earlier. After all, this is an adult problem. He was afraid he would hear it later. Especially this is about yourself."

"Let me wake up Bian." Chayra got up and approached her sister. Just a few times shaking Bian's body, the boy immediately woke up. "Sleep in the room, Dek. Your brother has come home."

About twenty minutes they watched the video footage Kate showed. Until the video is over, Chayra is stunned in disbelief. "Here, where did you get this conversation?" Tears are starting to melt.

"Why can he record his own actions?" Chayra is still confused by Kate's explanation.
