The one-meter-wide calligraphy written in gold and black ink was dazzlingly displayed nicely on one of the walls of the living room of Khalisa apartment. The calligraphy could glow in the darkness. Every time Khalisa saw the calligraphy Azfan sentence when saying ijab qabul back ringing in his ear.
Today is even one month since Azfan said the sacred promise in front of the ruler, parents and witnesses. It was one of the most beautiful days in the life of Khalisa and Azfan.
Khalisa is very fond of his role as a wife, he no longer lives alone in this spacious apartment. Azfan not only became a husband but also a friend, brother and teacher for Khalisa.
Every moment they miss is precious. Khalisa could feel Azfan's affection and the guidance of her husband. They both learn a lot of things.
After returning from the mosque after establishing congregational prayer isya', usually Azfan will lie down with Khalisa. Correcting each other's errors in reading the Qur'an.
Sometimes Khalisa who can not resist sleepiness will fall asleep on the prayer mat while Azfan still continues to read the Qur'an verse with a melodious voice.
As now Azfan just finished his tilawah activity after khatam 30 juz. Azfan whispered a prayer finished reading the Qur'an and put the mushaf on the nightstand. When he looked down, Azfan found that Khalisa had fallen asleep in his lap.
Azfan suspected Khalisa was exhausted after spending hours at the fabric store choosing materials for Renata's dress. Khalisa became a perfectionist when choosing materials for the clothes he would make. Or Khalisa exhausted because Azfan read al-Kahfi letter during the prayer. He said Khalisa's feet were so stiff they prayed tonight. Because it is Friday night so Azfan all read al-Kahfi letter in his prayer.
"If Huma says my prayers are long then he is wrong because it turns out that the prayers with Mas Azfan are much longer." It was Khalisa's speech that made Azfan chuckle with anxiety.
With Azfan carefully lifting up Khalisa's body moving him on the bed, he did not want to make Khalisa wake up.
"Mmh Mas." Khalisa opened his eyes.
"Sorry I woke you up." Khalisa is the type of person who easily wakes up so even though Azfan has tried to be careful it turns out Khalisa still wake up.
"I'm sorry I overslept." Khalisa rubbed his eyes.
"Let's go off the face first." Azfan released Khalisa's mucus which was still attached to the wife's body.
"Mas, it's Friday night, do you need anything from me?"
Azfan who was folding Khalisa mukena did not immediately answer, he cleaned their prayer mats and returned them to their original place.
"No, Haura, you must be tired today." Azfan does not want to be selfish by not thinking about the state of Khalisa.
"I washed my face first so I wouldn't sleep if I wanted something." Khalisa was about to get up from a lying position but Azfan prevented him.
"Let's go to bed tonight, I'm sleepy too." Azfan took off his skullcap and lay down beside Khalisa.
"Lateness?" Khalisa looked at Azfan.
"I'm ridho and sincere." Azfan slid his hand down Khalisa's neck.
Khalisa's smile riveted, this arm is the most comfortable pillow in the world that she can not get anywhere except from her own husband.
"Haura's legs stiffened from standing for too long."
"I say so because of the 1,400 years that the Prophet prayed alaihi wassalam even to the extent that his feet were swollen in order to pray for us to be forgiven by Allah, now it's not 1 hour to complain."
"Verily, even if we want to pray 25,000 a day is not enough to repay the love of the Prophet towards us, his people."
Khalisa changed his position to face Azfan and hugged the body of the husband.
"When do you want to try al-Baqarah's letter tonight?" Ask Azfan.
"Mas" Khalisa whined to put a face to Azfan, now he is like himself 15 years ago when he asked to buy a balloon on Ica. The difference this time Khalisa begged Azfan not to read al-Baqarah during the coming period because he had not memorized the meaning of the longest letter in the Qur'an. Less afdhol if Khalisa did not understand the meaning of the letter he read during prayer.
"Sshhhh let's go to sleep, Haura's eyes are narrow." Azfan's hands fumbled through the nightstand looking for a remote to turn off the room lights and replace them with sleeping lights.
"If the word Zunaira is born already like this Mas."
Azfan approached the tiny body of Khalisa and patted his back like he was putting a child to sleep.
"Mas, we've had a month of marriage but how come I haven't had any signs of getting pregnant yet?" It was a question that these days swirled around in Khalisa's head. From the beginning he and Azfan agreed not to do the KB program. For them, children are a great gift from God.
Khalisa had asked Ica, his mother was immediately pregnant during the first month of marriage. Khalisa so overthinking every time he remembered she had not been pregnant even though Azfan never questioned it.
"Darling, it's only been a month, God might want us to be together first." Azfan tried to calm Khalisa. "God is the best determinant."
Khalisa exhaled heavily, he buried his face in Azfan. Khalisa tried to shake off all the bad thoughts in his head.
Silent. The room with the dim light started to quiet down. Only the sound of vehicles from outside the apartment sounded faint.
"Who of the Sahaya slaves first converted to Islam?" Khalisa suddenly broke the silence.
Azfan held a smile, when sleepy like this Khalisa still asked a question like that. Whether since when to play guess before going to bed becomes a habit for them. If Azfan asks a question, Khalisa will answer the opposite.
"Tomorrow, I answered yes." Azfan really can't think in this sleepy state. It's not Khalisa who remembers every person's name in his head.
Azfan did not hear Khalisa's answer, it seems that Khalisa had fallen asleep. Azfan kissed the top of the head of the wife and prayed that their marriage would always be blessed by God.

Khalisa's apartment bell clinks several times in the morning when two residents are busy cleaning the living room floor and sofa. Azfan put the Vacuum Cleaner to open the door.
Azfan glanced at the monitor screen beside the door to see who was coming.
Hearing Ria's name, Khalisa immediately put down a broom and followed Azfan to the front door. Khalisa has not seen Ria and Bowo since. They apologized for Revan but after that Khalisa never saw Ria and Bowo again in the apartment.
"Mr Ria." Khalisa spread a big smile welcoming the arrival of the woman in her 50s.
"Khalisa, how are you?"
"I'm healthy, Miss Ria and Mr Bowo how, how long ago did it not look?" Khalisa gave a hug to Ria. "Let's go in, Mom, sir."
Khalisa let them sit down. After a long time did not meet it feels Khalisa miss his neighbor who likes to give food. Despite the crimes that Revan has committed, for Khalisa they are still good neighbors.
"This must be your husband." Bowo sees Azfan sitting next to Khalisa.
"Right sir, I'm Azfan." Azfan introduced himself to them. Although this was not the first time they had met.
"I'm sorry we couldn't fulfill your invitation." Said Ria, her gaze was sad. Since that incident Ria has never been able to see Khalisa's face again because she will always be reminded of the crime Revan committed against Khalisa. Even now Ria and Bowo feel unable to meet Khalisa because of shame. Plus the face of Khalisa who always reviews the smile as if nothing happened before. Although Khalisa had forgiven them but still Revan's behavior was excessive. Even as parents, they can't forgive Revan.
"This is for Khalisa and her husband, I hope your household is always happy." Ria put the parcel on the table.
"Thank you Miss Ria and Mr. Bowo." Khalisa. "Where do you and your mom live?"
"We live in Semarang, today we want to move."
"Why move on, Mom?" Khalisa was surprised because they suddenly wanted to move when the two always said they liked this apartment not only because of its complete facilities but also other friendly residents that made them feel comfortable.
"Khalisa, we won't be able to see you again, you're a good boy and every time we see you, we'll remember Revan's crimes against you."
Khalisa moved to sit next to Ria, he touched Ria's thigh gently.
"Mom, it's over and Revan has also accounted for his actions, Mother and Father do not need to be like this."
"Khalisa." Ria clasped Khalisa's hand, "the more you like this then we will feel bad and guilty."
"But I said I liked this apartment."
"We do like it but I don't want to be selfish because even though you look fine on the outside but I'm sure the wound inside you hasn't fully healed yet, it would be better if we didn't live here anymore."
"We've found a place that's just as comfortable as here so don't worry Khalisa." Added Bowo.
Khalisa nodded, "wherever Mother Ria and Mr. Bowo live I hope you are always healthy and happy."
Khalisa was about to make tea for Ria and Bowo but they forbade it. Because they have to take care of the move immediately.
"We go first, take care of yourself." Ria gives Khalisa a mother-like hug towards her child.
"I'm going to miss Mom's cooking."
"Khalisa just calm down, if all the transfer business is done I will send food to you."
"Mothers and mothers take care of their health, do not eat carelessly and get enough rest." Khalisa's Message.
"Definitely Khalisa, Azfan, if you'll excuse me." Ria looked at Azfan who had just been silent.
"Be careful on the road, sir, ma'am." Azfan shook Bowo's hand.
Khalisa and Azfan drove them to the front door.
"They're good parents, but Revan's love doesn't follow his parents at all." Azfan closed the door again. "Haura must not have forgotten that incident, right?"
Khalisa smiled bitterly, it seemed like he would never forget that incident.
"Now there's me, Haura don't worry."
Khalisa was lucky to have Azfan in his life because of his misgivings since the incident slowly disappeared after there was Azfan.
They continue the clean-up activity that was delayed due to the arrival of Ria and Bowo.
"Zaid bin Hariah." Azfan suddenly made Khalisa confused. "An answer to Haura's question last night."
Ah Khalisa just remembered that last night he gave the question to Azfan before going to bed.
"Not on the internet, right?" Khalisa looked at Azfan suspiciously.
"Dear, I kept quiet because I thought of that."
"Then you have to give me a gift." Khalisa stepped towards Azfan.
"There's a prize?" Azfan turned away happy because they usually did not give gifts even though they answered the question correctly.
"There's dong." Khalisa tiptoes kiss Azfan's lips.
When Azfan was about to return the kiss, Khalisa ran and disappeared behind the wall that borders between the living room and the living room.
Azfan turned off the Vacuum Cleaner quickly to catch up to Khalisa which made him haggard and anxious. How dare Khalisa run away after doing that to Azfan.
