Mahabbah Love Khalisa

Rindang opened his eyes with great difficulty. The first thing he saw was the ceiling of the room with a bright light. He closed his eyes trying to remember what had happened to him. The pieces of the incident re-spinned on his head and Rindang remembered one thing, he fainted in front of the mosque after the agreement.

How long have I fainted?

Shindang felt something heavy on top of his right hand. Shindang tried to see him but he did not have the energy, his body was very weak. Shady grimaced with pain in his left hand. With great difficulty, Rindang was finally able to move his left hand to feel something that had burdened his right hand. It's like hair. The next two seconds Rindang was shocked when something above his hand was lifted.

"Shop." No sound could be heard from Rindang's mouth, his lips just moved without a sound.

"Rindang, are you awake?" Levin's eyes look puffy.

Rindang nodded, he wanted to ask where papa and his mother were but did not have enough energy to do that. Many questions in Rindang's mind at this time. Like where he is now, what time is it, what happens after he faints.

"I'll check your blood sugar first." It was the first thing Levin had to do when Rindang woke up. I don't know how many times he stabbed Rindang's finger with a needle. Since Levin has done a high-risk procedure then he has to make sure everything goes with his expectations.

Rindang nodded back. He looked at Levin who was poking his fingertips with a lancet pen. Rindang did not show any expression when Levin pressed his finger to get his blood out.

"Did Koko ever wish she had a wife whose hands were smooth?" The question suddenly came to mind.

"Hm? you mean?" Levin attached a Levin index finger to the test strip.

"I mean, I can't make it happen because my hands will always be full of puncture scars."

"My only hope when I marry you is that you can always be healthy and happy." Levin developed a faint smile looking at the numbers on the glucometer. "Your blood sugar is normal." Levin cleaned his blood sugar test and washed his hands. Levin had to check his blood sugar levels periodically after giving dextrose solution and he had lowered his dose when the numbers on the glucometer began to rise.

Rindang was stunned for a moment when he heard Levin's sincere reply. Rindang's chest rumbled, was he really in love right now. Whether Rindang should ask Huma this.

"Drink first." Levin raises the position of the gurney to hold Rindang's head. He helped Rindang drink water. "Well huh?" Levin was happy to see Rindang almost spend a glass of water.

"What time is Ko?" Rindang circulated the view throughout the room but he did not find a clock.

"At 11 nights."

Rindang calculated about how long he did not faint. 14 hours maybe?

"I fainted 14 hours?"

"It's more like 38 hours."

Shady eyes were round, he only slept suddenly one day had been missed. That means they went through the first night after getting married in this hospital. Rindang grasped Levin's hand with both hands, he no longer cared about the throbbing pain in the back of his hand.

"I'm sorry Ko."

"What are you sorry for?"

"I'm sorry I didn't do my job as a wife." Rindang kissed the back of Levin's hand repeatedly. He hoped that Levin would not scold him for missing a day without doing anything.

Levin pulled Rindang into his arms, "with you through this all I'm so happy Rindang, thank you for being able to get through it, I'm really afraid something will happen to you."

Rindang let out a sigh of relief because Levin was not angry at all. It turned out that Levin was a gentle type of man. Rindang did not know Levin fully because all this time he avoided meeting Levin to take care of themselves.

"I couldn't have done it because my husband was a doctor." Rindang unraveled a looked up embrace looking at Levin's disheveled face. Even Levin was still wearing those pants yesterday.

"I can't forgive myself if you're doing something, what are you feeling right now?" Levin reduces the speed of the infusion of Rindang. "Dizziness?"

"No, it's still easy, oh yeah Mama and Papa are home?"

"Yes, they just came home after I forced them because they looked tired."

"The shop looks tired too."

"Udah ain't." Levin commented that a sweet smile looked at Rindang, really they have become a husband and wife. It still feels so awkward.

"Want to sleep here?" Shady shifted his body patting the empty space beside him.

"I've never slept in a patient's bed." Levin seemed hesitant to sleep on the patient's bed.

"Oh yeah? I often." Rindang chuckled as he said the sentence as if he had no problem in and out of the hospital. Leafy is no stranger to injections and the aroma of ethanol. Even Rindang can also smell a similar aroma in Levin's body. Shindang wondered if all the doctors were flavored with ethanol.

Levin got into bed, which was fortunately enough for both of them. Khalisa really prepared a comfortable room for Rindang and Levin. There was actually one other bed in the room but Levin chose to sleep on the chair so that he knew right away when Rindang woke up.

Rindang had wanted to ask where they were but when he saw the interior of the room he knew that this was a Kafasa hospital. Look Rindang even memorized in the rooms in the hospital.

"My left hand why is it so painful, is it because of the infusion?" Leaf slightly raised his left hand which was fitted with an infusion hose.

"That's because I gave the drug an intravenous hose."

Shady mangosteen, that means the condition is quite severe. Of course, if not for sure he will not faint for that long.

"No need to." Rindang.

"I'll put on ametocaine gel, after which the pain will disappear."

"It doesn't hurt." Rindang did not want to bother Levin at midnight like this even though he knew it was common for doctors but he just woke up. Rindang didn't want Levin to leave him.

Levin looked at Rindang in disbelief, he knew Rindang was lying. But Levin pretended to believe because he did not want to hurt Rindang's feelings.

They looked at each other for a while. The awkward atmosphere controlled Rindang and Levin because their distance was very close. Levin doesn't know what to say to melt the atmosphere, he's usually good at it but now he's suddenly clumsy.

"Let's go to sleep." Finally Levin invited Rindang to sleep. What can they do in the middle of the night in the hospital other than sleep. Levin can't take Rindang for a walk because he just woke up.

"I slept 38 hours." Rindang disagreed with Levin's call.

"A right too."

"Live TV."

"okay." Levin fumbles on the nightstand to pick up the remote and turn on the TV.

The 40-inch TV screen shows a romantic movie played by a Hollywood artist. Rindang and Levin have both never seen the film, rather they almost never watch TV.

"Shop ever fell in love?" Tanya Rindang, a second later he regretted asking that. A strange-sounding question.

"I'm in love now."

"Oh yeah?" Rindang narrowed his eyes looking at Levin in disbelief, "may I check?"

Levin nodded even though he did not know in what way Rindang would check on him. Can they see the signs of someone falling in love?

Rindang dropped his head into Levin's chest to listen to his heartbeat.

Levin held his breath in surprise as the Shady suddenly further eroded the distance between them.

Rindang widened listening to Levin's heart rumble even it was twice as fast as his heartbeat. Rindang was about to raise his head but Levin held him back.

Levin smiled, he did not expect that Rindang was this stupid. Levin just found out if anyone heard near the heart to make sure he was in love or not. The shady behavior is very funny.

"Uda believe?" Levin's heavy voice made Rindang freeze.

Rindang nodded slowly.

"Why would I marry you if I didn't love."

"Because Koko never said." Reply Rindang with a choked voice, now it's his turn who died a flea due to his own actions. Rindang should be experienced about this because he used to change his girlfriend, as often as he changed hair color. But it feels very different after marriage.

"I love you, my wife Rindang Anjana."

Rindang froze at Levin's words. Come on, this isn't the first time Rindang has heard someone's confession of love. Rindang's stomach felt full of flowers and beetles that flew out. Her face was hot as if she was in a sauna.

Levin was about to release a hug but Rindang actually buried his face deeper into Levin's chest. Shindang did not want Levin to see his face that must have been flushed now.

"Sometimes love doesn't have to be expressed in words, it can also be with actions and body touch but if you consider words to be the most important thing to express love then I will say it every day."

"Thank you Ko." Whispering Rindang, of course Levin could not hear it. Shame too embarrassed to say anything.

They no longer care about the TV that is still showing romantic movies. Both prefer to be immersed in their respective romances. Rindang only realized that lying in a hospital bed was not that bad.

"Isn't it okay to be here?" Rindang looked up after neutralizing his expression.

"I'm on leave."

"But Koko checked me out."

"You're the exception." For Levin there is no holiday to check on Rindang. Whenever Rindang needs it, Levin will always be ready.

Rindang again hid his face in Levin's chest. Turns out Rindang's guess is wrong, Levin doesn't smell ethanol. Rindang inhaled Levin's scent deeply to digest the smell.

"What perfume shop?"

"I didn't shower yesterday."

Oh so this is Ko Levin's sweaty smell, why does it smell? Shindang became envious. No. gabe. Maybe this is because Rindang is in love so the smell of sweat alone feels fragrant in his nose. That's how people fall in love, isn't it?
