The room was shades of gray and emerald it looked warm with yellowish light rays that spread throughout the room. At first glance it does not look like a children's room but after entering it deeper, there are many toys and decorative lights on the bed. A teddy bear was displayed sweetly on one of the shelves with books underneath. The owner of the room loves to read books.
Fir tree paintings further beautify the room. It was a painting by Khalisa and Azfan made wholeheartedly for Azka. They had been upset to choose the color of the room that is suitable for Azka. Whether gray is too dark for a child who is still in the introduction to the color or yellow that has a bright feel. But eventually gray and emerald became their choice.
Today Azka will occupy the room for the first time. After months of preparing the room, Azka was finally able to sleep on her own. Khalisa and Azfan involved Azka in choosing the items to be placed in his room.
The room was made with love, Khalisa and Azfan painted it themselves, painted the walls, installed mattresses and shelves to arrange all the items. They wanted Azka to sleep alone, but she would still feel the warmth of her parents as if they were sleeping with her.
Khalisa stood in the middle of the room, looking around and smiling. His feelings were mixed between happy, sad and moved because this was the time Azka did not sleep with them. Khalisa should not look sad so Azka dares to sleep alone.
"Umma."
Khalisa wiped his tears violently hearing Azka's voice calling out to him. Khalisa turned his back to review the smile seeing Azka half-running towards him.
"Hey, did you brush your teeth with Abi?" Khalisa stood with his knees to equalize the height with Azka.
"Udah." Azka mangosteen.
"Try Umma look, clean don't you?"
Azka opened her mouth wide and showed Khalisa that she had brushed her teeth clean.
"Oh yes it's clean, pinter nih son Umma rub his teeth." Khalisa rubbed Azka's thick hair.
"Umma said to me first, later if I'm asleep, Umma can go." Azka pulled Khalisa's hand and asked him to lie in bed with her.
"Yes." Yeah." Because this was the first night for Azka to sleep alone, Khalisa agreed to accompany her to sleep. "Umma continued to read the story of the Prophet last night?" Khalisa took the Prophet Muhammad story book that he read to Azka before going to bed to instill love for the Prophet early on.
"Azka inget not last night the story to where?" Khalisa went page by page, it was a picture story book that Azka liked. Because they cannot read, Azka will usually look at the picture while pretending to read imitating Umma and his ashes
"Prophet Muhammad traveled to the land of Thaif." Azka has a very strong memory just like Khalisa.
"Dead of Abu Talib and Khadijah bint Khuwailid,
The Prophet secretly traveled to the land of Thaif in the hope that the people of Tsaqif would give him protection from the crimes of the Quraysh and accept his preachings but the people there treated the Prophet harshly and threw him with stones." Khalisa paused for a moment, unable to continue his story. How hard the Prophet's struggle to spread Islam.
"At that time Zaid bin Harithah also had to protect the Prophet until his head was bleeding."
"Umma." Azka lowered Khalisa's hand to look at Umma's face. He knew Khalisa was crying.
"Do you know who Zaid bin Harithah was?" Khalisa commented a smile as Azka looked at him.
"He was the first to convert to Islam."
"Who else converted to Islam?"
"Mother Khadijah but two more I forgot." There were so many names in Azka's head that she was not sure to answer them.
"It's okay to tell Umma again." It is natural that Azka is confused at the age of 3 years. Khalisa continued his story with a trembling voice holding back tears.
"Angel of the mountain guard was prepared to do as the Prophet commanded. If the Messenger wills, the angel will crush the two mountains beside the city so that whoever lives between them will die squeezed."
"Umma, did the Prophet pray that Allah would be angry with them?"
"It is the greatness of the Prophet who remained steadfast and patient even though the people of Tsaqif treated him harshly."
"Umma, if I were there I would have thrown stones to the wicked."
Khalisa smiled broadly at Azka's plain words.
"The Prophet did not pray to bring down the torment, for in fact, compared to that suffering, the Prophet felt far more pleasure from Allah.
"The Prophet prayed that one day the people of the land of Thaif would worship Allah."
Azka was still trying to wake up even though her eyes felt heavy because of sleepiness, she did not want to miss the story.
"Azka sleeps yes, tomorrow Umma or Abi story again." Khalisa put the prophet's story back in its place. Khalisa kissed Azka's forehead and looked at her for a while.
Azka began to fall asleep and heard a smooth snoring.
Khalisa turned off the room lights and replaced them with sleeping lights until the room turned dim. Before coming out of the room, Khalisa saw Azka once again making sure the baby was asleep.
"Azka's asleep?" Azfan lifted his face from the mushaf looking at the door of the room open.
"Udah." Khalisa sees a laptop on his desk that displays the atmosphere in Azka's room. They'll keep an eye on Azka through the monitor.
Azfan put down his mushaf and approached Khalisa.
"Don't worry, Azka's a brave boy." Azfan understood Khalisa's concern for Azka. "Eso Azka likes her room."
Khalisa nodded, trying to convince himself that Azka dared to sleep without him and Azfan.
"I'll smear it." Azfan took a white tube, it was a sample of a scar removal cream that would become Khalisa's second product in Alindra Beauty after the anti-strechmark cream first launched three years ago.
Azfan applied the cream to the scar on Khalisa temple. It was a scar from the hard impact of the chair Revan threw first. His scar still looks faint.
"The product absorbs quickly." Azfan put the tube back into place.
"And there is no fragrance, it seems people will not be too concerned about the aroma for a scar removal cream." Khalisa took off his hairpin and moved from there after applying lip balm on his lips. Khalisa knew the lip balm wouldn't last long on his lips.
"Important there's no scent that bothers me too much I don't think it's a problem, honey."
"May there be no meaningful obstacles."
"God's Inshaa, Umma has prepared this carefully."
Khalisa again saw his laptop, Azka was still in the same position when Khalisa last saw it.
In addition to the laptop there are photos of Khalisa and Azfan while on vacation to Senggigi Beach in Lombok. They only went both at once to wean Azka. At first they thought it would be a fun holiday but it turned out that leaving Azka made them unable to linger in Lombok. They worry about Azka at home although Ica and Kirana help keep Azka. They finally returned home after a day in Lombok.
Since then Khalisa and Azfan will never go on vacation alone again even after they have never gone on vacation again. They were again occupied by a myriad of jobs.
"Have you ever been to Mecca?"
"I went on Hajj with Mama and Papa when I was in 10th grade."
"I want to go too."
"We have enough savings, let's go umrah." Khalisa grabbed Azfan's hand and grabbed it. Azfan has worked hard to meet the needs of the family and Khalisa save money little by little for urgent needs. Now the amount of savings was more than enough for them to go umrah. Azka also understood enough to go to worship together.
"Would the cream be rubbed on your back too?"
"Not to Bi."
"The wound is slowly fading but I want to know if Umma's wounds here have also faded?" Azfan touched Khalisa's chest.
Khalisa was silent for a moment and heaved a heavy sigh.
"It seems to be starting to fade as well." Khalisa developed a smile.
"Umma is amazing."
"This is because Abi has always been by my side and the most potent remedy is to allow this self to fall deeply into the infinite love of God, the trauma finally made me realize that our last place to return is always God."
"What is the expression that grief will ripen true?"
Khalisa nodded, "God can't possibly give grief without any intention, there's always a lesson behind it all." Khalisa laughed discordantly, "now I can say gini as if it didn't affect my life." Khalisa smiled bitterly, saying words would be easier than practicing them.
"Umma's changed a little."
"Oh yeah?" Khalisa is unaware that he changed after an incident that left a severe trauma in his life.
"Umma rarely laughs again except for Azka's playtime."
"Sorry Bi."
"Don't apologize." Azfan pulled Khalisa into his arms, why Khalisa apologized for the grief that befell him. Khalisa may cry and be angry because he has experienced something that makes him lose the child in the womb. But Azfan never saw Khalisa's anger.
"Want to have another baby?" Khalisa looked up at Azfan. "Azka knew enough to have a sister."
"When Umma is ready, I will not force the will because Umma will carry the baby and give birth to it."
They moved to the bed after turning off the lights.
"Tomorrow tell me again about assabiqunal awwalun on Azka, he forgot."
"Honestly, I don't want the same assabiqunal awwalun names, Azka is amazing to remember that." Azfan had to reread about Sirah Nabawiyah because at any time Azka could give him unexpected questions. Sometimes Azfan had to search the answer on the internet or throw the question at Khalisa.
"That means her Abi must also learn again."
"The love of Azka is like Umma and one day Azka will teach me."
"So don't want dong with Azka."
"Tonight I won." Azfan kissed Khalisa's lips.
Khalisa put his hand on Azfan's neck, this is the reason why he said the lip balm would not last long on his lips.
