Mahabbah Love Khalisa

Levin's heartbeat was heard twice as fast since he set foot in Rindang's yard filled with ornamental plants and koi ponds in the middle of the garden. Levin deliberately stood long enough beside his car to let the hot sun warm his body which suddenly felt very cold. Even Levin's hands were wet with cold sweat. Levin guessed this was because he only had breakfast a glass of warm tea—maybe his stomach wanted something else like rice or bread. But because he wanted to quickly meet Rindang's parents, Levin did not have time to eat breakfast properly.

It just so happened that Rindang was at home for a long time, just waiting for graduation so Levin felt this was the right time for him to propose to the girl. When Levin said he wanted to propose, Rindang did not refuse. The shady was silent and Levin took it as a sign of approval.

"Please enter." An ART invited Levin in and sat on the living room couch.

The house looks lonely because Rindang is the only child of Jonas and Michelin puppet. Surely all this time Rindang's parents were always lonely because Rindang had to get an education away from Banyuwangi. Whether Levin should stay in this house, Jonas and Michelin certainly do not allow Rindang to go anywhere else. Ah, why Levin so think of all sorts when the application is not necessarily accepted.

"Good morning Ai, Susuk." Levin moved when he saw papa and mama Rindang coming. He commented on the smile as wide as Rindang's parents.

"Please sit down, son Levin." Jonas lets Levin sit down and drops his body onto the couch. Jonas confirmed the position of the thick glasses perched on his high nose bone.

Levin rubbed his palms on the black pants he was wearing to dry the cold sweat there.

"Have you had breakfast?" Ask Michelin.

"It's Ai." Levin nodded even though his stomach felt completely empty, a glass of warm tea certainly just passed by. Levin's smile turned clumsy, come on where the words he had prepared since last night to start a conversation with Rindang's parents. After dealing like this the words seemed to evaporate carried away by the wind.

"Although this is the first time we met but Rindang often told me about you." Michelin looked straight at Levin, a friendly smile always on her lips.

"Oh yeah Ai?" Levin's eyebrows shot up, looking at that smile, he felt like there was a bright green light burning above the heads of mama and papa Rindang.

"You have guided Rindang Islamic science because we cannot do it so I thank Nak Levin."

"Sama-sama Ai." Levin nodded slowly.

Moments later an ART delivered a kapucino that was still puffing smoke and pastries to Levin.

"Come, thank you for accepting my arrival." Levin finally had a chance to say that.

"We should have accepted your arrival." Jonas sees his wife at a glance then at Levin.

"I came here Inshaa Allah with good intentions, if Ai Michelin and Suk Jonas allow, I would like to ask Rindang to be my wife." Levin's voice sounded trembling and drowned as if carried by the wind from nowhere. Levin rinsed his pants waiting for Jonas to answer.

"Before you came, Rindang had already given an answer and entrusted me to convey it to you Levin." Jonas again improved the position of his glasses that actually did not sag at all, but he was nervous to hear there was a man who wanted to edit his child. Behind that thick lens Jonas' eyes glazed over, he could see the sincerity of a Levin and he felt Levin was the right person to be Rindang's life companion. "But before that, let me ask you if you want to marry Rindang, don't you know exactly how Rindang is now?"

"Since Rindang converted to Islam and we often exchanged messages because he asked many things about Islam and when I saw the change in appearance of Rindang, I began to realize that I had fallen in love with him, he said, although the meeting was short but we exchanged many stories as fellow converts, it was Rindang's obedience to religion that made me want to marry him." Levin's eyes sparkled as he told Jonas and Michelin about it.

Jonas nodded in understanding, he could take off Rindang calmly not because Levin was a doctor but because Levin looked so in love with Rindang.

"Then what about your parents?" Now it was Michelin's turn to ask, he had heard the story from Rindang that Levin's parents did not like him.

The light on Levin's netra dimmed at the question, he went to Banyuwangi without the approval of his papa and mama but Levin's determination was unanimous, he would still marry Rindang even without the blessing of his parents.

"Actually they haven't allowed me to get married but my intentions have not faded at all, for me Ai and Susuk's blessing is enough."

"Then we gladly accept Levin's proposal." Jonas smiled widely which made Levin's eyes sparkle again.

"Thank you Ai, Susuk." Levin nodded a few times, the feeling of thumping back inside his chest. Levin held onto it as if afraid that his heart would jump out. Levin felt a soap bubble in his stomach and then burst uncontrollably.

"What are your plans after marriage?"

"If Rindang wants to stay here then I will obey him and I will register with Kafasa hospital."

"Well, after this you two talk about, I believe you're all grown up and can definitely decide everything well."

Levin gave a smile once again thanking them for accepting himself so well. The anxiety that had been haunting him disappeared instantly. Levin's long prayers in the third night were finally answered. There is no prayer hanging in the sky in vain. Even if Allah does not grant your prayers, He will replace them with mountainous rewards in the Hereafter.

Rindang could not bear to tell all that he had heard this morning in the living room to Khalisa. Rindang waited until Khalisa was not too busy. The wall clock shows 8 o'clock when Rindang sent a message to Khalisa.

Actually this morning Rindang watched his parents meeting with Levin even he heard all their talk. Rindang accidentally did not meet Levin because he wanted to see the seriousness of Levin to marry him.

Rindang was in the room closest to the living room, through the CCTV monitor he could hear all Levin's sentences clearly. Every now and then Rindang glanced towards the door as if frightened if Levin knew of his whereabouts or even heard a rumble in his chest. Especially when hearing Levin's answer when papa and mama Rindang asked the reason why Levin was determined to marry Rindang. Rindang's chest felt warm when he heard it.

The ringing of the mobile phone left Rindang aghast and forced to pull him back to the real world after hovering around imagining the incident this morning. Written by the name Khalisa on the phone screen, Rindang smiled broadly holding his thumping chest before answering Khalisa's phone.

"Assalamualaikum Khalisa uh congratulations on the victory of Alindra Beauty." Rindang watched the live broadcast from the front of the police station as Daniel held his press conference. Rindang saw it with satisfaction even though from the beginning he was sure that Alindra Beauty would not be able to be prosecuted on charges of dangerous content on the cream.

"Waalaikumussalam, this is not a victory, don't have to talk so just now Ko Levin really to your house?" Khalisa's tone sounded impatient.

Rindang laughed deliberately stalling for time to make Khalisa more curious. He is indeed the most hobby of flirting with Khalisa.

"Minds are a story hunt."

"Where is his voice not heard?"

"Udah sleep, let's tell Azka to wake up Rin."

"At that time Ko Levin said he wanted to go home yesterday suddenly he said it was in Banyuwangi."

"Continue?"

"I told Mama Papa that Ko Levin was coming home, they asked, is it time?" Rindang mimicked his papa's tone last night when he told her that Levin was coming.

"Geez why the hell when you think you should be away from me, I want to hug you know not now."

Rindang laughed, he also wanted to hug Khalisa after sharing his happy story.

"Do you accept the proposal?"

"You think I accept Khalisa because since Ko Levin first expressed his feelings I always prayed that God would give a hint that Ko Levin is the best man for me."

"I can rest easy if you marry Ko Levin."

"Because?"

"Because I'm sure he can take good care of you and be patient with your changing emotions."

"Eh Khalisa but what if I suddenly get bored?"

"Boss?"

"I used to be easy to get bored with my girlfriend so our relationship never took long."

"There's no way your heart will ever be tied to Ko Levin because he's the one God chose for you."

Shady smiled, his chest warmed up again imagining marriage. Rindang has no plans to get married but God outlines a fate that is so unexpected.

"Are you 3 years of marriage with Azfan, no sense of bosen?"

"There is absolutely nothing."

Rindang dropped his body on the soft bed that hugged him comfortably. He wanted to fly to Sleman to embrace Khalisa. They have been through a lot of hard and happy together.
