Three days before returning to Banyuwangi Rindang visit the hospital where Valerie works. When he heard Levin was kicked out of the house Rindang was so surprised because he did not expect that Levin's parents would oppose their marriage to that extent. Rindang feels guilty for Levin because from the beginning he knew if Valerie did not like him without him knowing the reason.
"Koko's sure we're going to continue our wedding plans?"
Rindang asked the question when he met Levin at the convert's community building the day after Levin left home. Levin answered without a second thought, he was fully convinced of his decision to marry Rindang. Levin also reminded Rindang to never ask such questions again.
Shady is amazed by Levin's determination to marry her, on the other hand he feels sorry for her. Rindang has separated Levin from his parents.
The hospital corridor looked crowded as Rindang stepped past it. Previously Rindang had been informed of Valerie's whereabouts.
"Doctor Valerie is in the operating room." That was the receptionist's description when Rindang asked about Valerie.
Rindang will wait in front of Valerie's room until she finishes her patient visit. However, Rindang had to ask Levin's parents for their blessing and apologize to them. Rindang felt that something was stuck if he did not do that.
Rindang does not want to be selfish, however much his desire to marry Levin is certainly no greater than the pain of Levin's parents when their children choose to leave the house.
"Sorry, doctor Valerie is in the operating room." A woman dressed as a nurse approached Rindang. "You can't make an appointment with him right now."
The shady who had initially lowered his head to read the small-sized Qur'an immediately raised his face.
"Oh, I'm not a patient of doctor Valerie, I want to meet with her in person."
"Doctor Valerie is having surgery and I can't be sure when she'll be done."
"No problem, I'll wait." Although Rindang's hope to get an apology from Valerie is very small but he will still try.
"If there's something important, I can tell Valerie's doctor."
"No need, thank you."
"All right then." The nurse left Rindang.
Rindang continued tilawah in the crowd of the corridor that afternoon. The small-sized Mushaf becomes a mandatory item that Rindang takes anywhere other than the Mukenah. By reading the Qur'an, waiting is no longer boring. Rindang can do many things such as recitation, tilawah, memorizing the Qur'an and occasionally checking his work using a mobile phone.
Some passers-by became misfocused on Rindang with his clothes heavily covered. For Rindang it is no longer a surprising thing. He was used to getting strange or curious views from people around him. After all it does not harm Rindang.
Did not feel Rindang had read 1 juz, he raised his face turned to the right and left. He is now the only person in the corridor. Rindang checked his phone to see the clock. Turns out Rindang's been sitting here for 2 hours. Finally Rindang put the mushaf into the bag, he went from there when he saw the notification on the phone that Ashar time had entered. But when he was about to step, Rindang saw Valerie at the end of the corridor.
"Auntie." Sapa Rindang while nodding his head politely.
Valerie was about to turn around after finding out that the woman standing about 3 meters away from her was Rindang but she was late, Rindang had already seen her.
"How's Auntie doing?" Rindang reached out to shake Valerie's hand.
"What do you need to do here?" Valerie asked ignoring Rindang's hand size. Whether Rindang will show off his success attracted Levin's heart.
"Can I speak to Auntie?"
"Do we have anything to talk about?"
"Just a little Aunt Val." Shady pulled his hand back after a few seconds of idle in the air.
"Get in my room." Valerie walked ahead of Rindang into the room with a sign. Valerie Sp.
"Tante, I want to apologize profusely to Auntie." Shady saw Valerie sitting on her swivel chair in a graceful style. "Please forgive Ko Levin and I beg Aunt's blessing for our marriage."
"Ask if you were me, I gave birth and raised him until he became what he is now, I financed his education and chose a good university for him, now he hasn't even been a doctor for half a year but he's very brave to leave home for you."
"I'm sorry Auntie, I didn't mean to make Ko Levin leave the house at all, I really expected Auntie's magnanimity to forgive us."
"What's so special about you that Levin wants to leave home for you?"
"I'm not special but until now I didn't understand why Auntie hated me so much."
"You want to know why?"
Rindang nodded.
"I'm worried about Levin's future because he's going to marry a sick woman like you, a disease that can't be cured, do you intend to make Levin your nurse for life?"
Rindang's chest was painful to hear Valerie's words, he really did not suspect that the reason Valerie did not approve of it was because of the disease she suffered. Tears welled up in Rindang's eye patch, once the crystal blinks clear it will surely slip away.
Rindang was unable to get out any sentences, he was silent. Her heart was too sore to reply to Valerie's words. Rindang just wanted to disappear from this all-white room. Rindang could not see Valerie's face anymore, her heart as if sliced into pieces. So hurt. If Rindang is already immune by a needle puncture in his stomach or arm, another case with the greeting—it can imprint up to years or even forever.
"Duibuqi, wo bushi and zhong ren." Shady took a step back and raised his chin staring straight at Valerie. "Xiexie ni gei wi jihui shuohua, Wo qu." Rindang explained that he was not the type of person Valerie said he was. Lastly Rindang thanks for having been given the opportunity to talk and then immediately withdraw from it.
Valerie saw the departure of Rindang, actually she did not really understand what Rindang said. The value of Mandarin is not too good when you go to school first.
Rindang's misty gaze, he stepped quickly through the corridor. Several times he hit people who met him. Shady not caring about the calls of people who accidentally collided with him, he just wanted to hurry up to the car.
Dada Rindang was so claustrophobic considering Valerie's sentence just now, she hugged the steering wheel and sobbed. Rindang's shoulders rose and fell rapidly, this pain pulling him back to the past where he was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes by doctors. Only now it hurts a little more. Rindang can fight his illness until now but he is hesitant to continue his marriage with Levin.

Rindang could calm down a bit after setting up ashar prayers at the mosque near the hospital. Rindang never went to the hotel Ashwatama because the effort he did seemed useless. People who do not like Rindang will remain like that even though he has tried to get close to them.
But after performing the prayer, Rindang's body like moving like running his car to the hotel Aswatama. Shindang resigned to whatever he would get later when he met Michael.
The screen on the car shows the incoming phone from a contact named Ko Levin. Rindang tapped on the phone icon on the screen to answer the phone from Levin.
"Hello." Rindang. "Why Ko?"
"What do you say, you have a cold?"
As a result of crying for too long, the sound of Rindang sounded like a cold person.
"I've got a plane ticket to Banyuwangi, tonight I'll go first."
Rindang's vision towards the street in front of him. Hearing Levin so excited makes Rindang powerless if he has to express his doubts about this marriage. Levin had sacrificed many things while Rindang was still overpowered by the doubts within him.
"Oh yes, until there later let Papa pick me up."
"It is not necessary, besides I have been to Banyuwangi often."
"It's okay, Papa wants to pick me up."
"No, I took a taxi to the hotel."
Rindang nodded in agreement when Levin could not see it now.
"Yes Ko, I'm on the road."
"Yes I'm just saying that, don't forget to take medicine, you have to take care of the condition, our wedding day is getting closer."
"Yes, safe flight Ko."
The connection was cut off after Levin said a greeting that was immediately answered by Rindang.
Talking to Levin made Rindang back upset, he was like a small boat in the middle of the ocean that was tossed by the wind. While the boat did not know where the dock for him leaned. He can only follow where the wind will take him.
"Good afternoon, how can I help you?"
"Once, can I meet Mr Michael?"
"Have you had an appointment with Mr Michael before?"
"Yet."
"Then I tried to contact him first, in whose name?"
"Master."
"Mongratulations?" The receptionist's eyebrows were raised because they were no strangers to the name. It seems like a few days ago Michael once told me that there might be someone named Rindang who will come to this hotel. Michael's estimate is correct.
"Rindang Anjana." Rindang repeated his name more fully.
"Okay, wait a minute."
Rindang nodded slowly, because it had arrived here then there was no reason for Rindang to feel doubtful.
"Please wait, you're on your way here."
"Thank you." Sitting on the sofa in the lobby.
The interior of the Ashwatama hotel is dominated by brown wood and a clean white floor that reflects any shadows on it.
"Good afternoon, Rindang."
Shady groaned hearing someone suddenly being nearby. Rindang went to reply to the greeting of a man in his 50s who wore round glasses, he was Michael—papa Levin.
"Previously sorry for my time-consuming arrival Om Michael."
"It's not disturbing at all." Michael let Rindang sit back, he was not surprised when the receptionist told Rindang's arrival because he had expected this.
"It looks like Om already knows that Ko Levin and I are getting married soon, I apologize profusely to Om for maybe this is also what drove Ko Levin away from home, I have absolutely no intention of doing that."
"I understand."
"I'm sorry if it's presumptuous but I beg Om Michael's blessing for our marriage."
"Without you asking, I must pray for you."
The flabbergasted lookout in disbelief heard Michael's response that was unlike his shadow. Rindang had prepared to be expelled from this hotel shortly after meeting Michael turned out he was wrong. Michael just welcomed Rindang warmly.
"What do you want to drink?" Michael was looking for employees to ask for drinks.
"No need to Om." Decline Rindang.
"Did you see Mama Levin before?"
"Yes, I just got out of the hospital."
Michael nodded, he could see from Rindang's eyes that looked adorable. Now the pair of eyes are back.
"I promise to bring Mama Levin to attend your wedding."
This was their first child's marriage. Michael knew Valerie was so against the marriage that he didn't know why. Even if Valerie mentioned the reason she rejected the marriage, Michael believed it was an absurd reason. Rindang and Levin love each other and have the same trust. For Michael it was enough to give them their blessing.
Shady again surprised, his eyes widened in disbelief. He really wants the presence of Levin's parents at the time of the marriage contract later. It turns out that any thin hope can still be realized, even Rindang has given up hope but nothing is impossible if God has willed.
"Thank you so much Om, but did Om Michael never think that I would make Ko Levin take care of me for the rest of his life because of this marriage let alone that he was a doctor?" Rindang asked that carefully. Valerie's sentence still inhabits the coconut shady, that's why she asked Michael.
"I never thought of it that way." Michael shakes.
"Do you know my illness?"
"I know but I never thought that you'd make Levin your nurse because I believed that even if Levin wasn't a doctor, you'd marry him anyway, right?"
Shady smiled then nodded many times, he was so touched by Michael's words. The heavy burden on his shoulder suddenly slipped because of the words of his future father-in-law. Now that Rindang knew where Levin's wise thinking came from, it came from his also wise papa.
