Legend of the Moon Crystal

Legend of the Moon Crystal
Chapter 86 "Paying a Debt Error"

Iloania gasped, leaning against the tree while staring blankly straight ahead. His gaze was faint and like a single brushstroke, it had no light even though it was still an alluring golden color. His breathing was fast and sweat ran from his forehead to his neck. He closed his eyes, closing them with his hands before groaning softly. From under his hand, there was a deep red liquid flowing down his cheeks, decaying down and ending up falling into his clothes.

"Well?!" Lasius' voice sounded so shocked and had anxiety when he saw Iloania leaning in front of the simple house building.

"Hey, what's going on?!" Lasius asked as he pulled Iloania's hand down and examined it, only to find a pair of luminous beads on the face of the ayu.

Iloania shook her head as she felt Lasius' grip tighten. "Nobody attacked me. This .. It's because I'm alone."

"What?" Beo Lasius's.

"Don't you see Yazuha's brother? Actually, I brought him to this town. In the past, she had an amazing baking talent, which made her able to open a cake shop to support herself and her sister. I thought, leaving her in this place is very good, because she can live freely. But it turns out my decision was very wrong." Iloania said in a slow tone and almost like a mutter, but Lasius could hear it.

"Some people here did not accept the arrival of Yazuha's brother, and made Brother Zuha lose his sight. It's all my fault for bringing her here." Iloania.

"It's not your fault, Ilo. You've brought them free, haven't you?" Lasius.

Iloania shook her head. "But Brother Zuha lost his eyes because of me. I'm guilty."

Lasius cupped Iloania's face and made her look up. "Then tell me, what's wrong with your eyes? Making your eyes blind won't make Yazuha have her sight back."

Iloania shook her head again, "Can."

"I changed our vision. This is one of the techniques that my teacher taught me. Although it would have an effect on the wearer of this seal technique, but the other party could get the eyesight of the technique user." He explains.

Lasius held his breath for a moment, "How, how about you yourself? Why did you do that?"

"I can heal my eyes, brother. But, I have to borrow the power of Fleia first. And that means I have to raise him first." Iloania.

He smiled, "I will consider my blindness a payment for my fault. I—!" Iloania's speech came to a halt as Lasius pulled her into his arms. The warm embrace, which is full of comfort and feeling, is safe for Iloania.

"You're not wrong, really. You have a better heart than anyone in the world." Lasius.

Iloania slightly giggled, "Sister kidding huh? How could? What about saintess?"

Lasius tightened his embrace, "You're much nicer. Even Saintsst won't be willing to do things like you do."

Iloania slightly laughed, raised her hand and returned Lasius' embrace. He held himself in Lasius' arms. Tonight she could not see, but she was sure, the moon must have been glowing and charming.

The next day, the song of the birds began to sound. There was a delicate floral scent that smelled in the air.

"Hold me, I'll take you across the river." Lasius said as he extended his hand and grabbed onto Iloania's hand.

"Thank you Brother Sius~" Iloania Smile.

Lasius hummed softly and led Iloania to step on the rocks that felt safe to pass. His actions were careful, and his every move was like treating a precious object that was easily broken even with a slight touch.

Iloania herself is still trying to adjust to the darkness. He had never experienced anything like this, so he began to awaken his other senses. Whether it's hearing, smell, taste and even instinct.

"Why did Sius walk so slowly?" He asked in an amused tone as he felt Lasius guiding him with great caution.

Iloania looked up, "I'm not really blind, Sister Sius. I can still hear and feel well. Don't worry."

"I'm still worried." Lasius said without rebuttal.

After crossing the river, Lasius turned to Iloania and asked. "You didn't leave any message to them?"

"No." Iloania.

The girl was grinding dirty clothes on the board. There was a faint foam in his hand, and sweat imprinted on his forehead. But on his face, a clean smile emanated and did not imply the slightest bit of fatigue.

"Ize!" The scream made him look.

On the side of the door that connects the simple building and the backyard of the house that has a short well, Yazuha was wearing white clothes with a bruised face and some parts had a hideous green and purple hue to the eye. Ize was surprised to see it, he got up to his feet, but before his feet stepped, his body froze. His manic looked straight ahead, as if he could not believe what he saw.

A pair of bright beads belonged to her brother ! !

"Sister's eye?" Mumbled.

Yazuha immediately ran to hug him, "Ize! Brother's eyes are healed! You can see again, Ize!"

"Can't you see already? Brother see! Hiks, big brother can finally see again, huuu!" Her cry returned Yazuha's embrace.

No need to ask how happy he was to see his brother was able to see again. He never denied that he always cried and prayed every night for the healing of his brother's eyes. Every night, never to be missed.

And the gods heard his prayer!

"Thank you..."

Iloania looked up, feeling the warm rays of the sun rising slowly from the eastern horizon. His hands looked up, as if catching the light, while his lips turned a smile.

"What are you doing?" Lasius piled several pieces of wood into a bonfire.

Iloania turned her head to the source of the voice and showed off her row of white teeth, "Feeling the warmth of the morning sun. It's healthy brother, come with me."

"All right, but just for a second. After that I'll bake the fish for our breakfast." He said while sitting next to Iloania, sitting on grassy ground on a hill while enjoying the morning.

Ten minutes later, Lasius returned to his camp, using his light magic to light a fire. Although it was quite time consuming, at least a fire managed to appear. Before gathering the wood, he had already caught a fish in the river, and obtained two large ones. Removing him from his dimensional necklace, Lasius used a wooden branch he had sharpened and cleaned to stab the fish and stick it on the ground near the fire.

"I'll set aside the durians for you." After a while of roasting, the fish has matured and is ready to be eaten. Lasius did not directly give the ripe fish to Iloania, but quickly and carefully sorted the bones and spines from the tender, juicy flesh of the fish. He did not want Iloania to be hurt by fish spines.

Waiting patiently, Iloania extended her hands towards Lasius and received a leaf containing a large piece of fish meat on it. The smell seemed pleasant, and when Ilania tasted it, the fresh juice of the fish smeared in her mouth.

Iloania smiled, "This is so delicious! Thank you, brother!"

"Mn, eat." Reply Lasius while looking at Iloania who seemed happy to enjoy his baked fish.

Staring at Iloania for a while longer, Lasius then lowered his head and started biting his own fish.
