Sipping her soup slowly, Lamona looked at the rain out there with her pair of juicy manics. His face was flushed, his nose was flushed because he had a fever. Just last night he felt his body so limp and his head buzzing dizzy, that he could not come to see Asyra today.
He was even too weak to walk when he opened his eyes after waking up.
"It's raining so hard, uncle!"
In response to Nai's words, Lamona nodded her head, rubbed her mane and gently smiled. "So from that, Nai can't go for a walk or play in the rain, or Nai will get sick like uncle, got it?"
The girl with a sweet face nodded her head, and, obey the words and advice from Lamona so that he does not play the rain or he will be sick like his uncle only for a full day can only lie in bed without being able to do anything let alone go to work.
Nai is a submissive child, so he doesn't argue at all and listens well before he runs out to meet his mother who is cleaning the house.
Looking out, Lamona suddenly lost her smile. His expression was a little difficult to describe, and he faintly touched his chest. "My feeling is not good. I hope Ashra doesn't wait too long and comes back. I have to meet him tomorrow and apologize to him for making him wait."
Elsewhere, the whispers and cries of admiration were heard from time to time. People huddled in the restaurant and looked at the figure tied up in a net, and continued to rebel, until several people appeared and lifted him up easily together, forcing him to enter a large iron cage that is usually used to trap wolves or trap deer in the forest.
"By!!"
Asyra tried to rebel and break away, she tried to claw at the iron plate that trapped her, but because of the injuries she suffered from the human-human punch, Asyra became weak and her strength to break the iron plate diminished. Traces of panic flashed through her eyes, and the voices and laughter of those around her made Asyra panic, anxiety, fear and feel in danger.
"Mona, help me!" inner screaming.
...***...
Last night, Lamona was cured of her illness. Because it is well cared for, Lamona can return to activities as usual. He was holding and playing with his nephew when the sound of the procession was heard in front of his house. His voice seemed so lively, drums were pounded, flutes were blown and laughter echoed.
Frowning, she lowered Nai as her brother stepped closer to her. "What's in front of that?"
Lamona shook her head. "I don't know, brother. I just wanted to see it."
Stepping out at once, Lamona opened the door and widened her eyes to find some people pushing a cart containing a cage where Asyra lay helpless inside. Asyra saw a lot of movement, and she weakly looked up as her manic came face-to-face with Lamona's widened gaze. Asyra quickly grabbed the iron and helped her to sit down. He looked towards Lamona with a bead that widened and glazed. There was blood on his face.
"Oh, the monster is awake, apparently!"
"Give us a fish show!"
"She's very pretty, but she's a monster! How disgusting!"
"Yeah! Dad, I'm scared!"
"Hey, Momo! We got a good catch this time! How funny he was to come here by himself, haha! I thought he was lost or maybe he was looking for death!"
Lamona barely responded to the words of others and her gaze was fixed on Asyra who was looking at her, extending her hand as if asking for help to her. His eyes were full of hope and supplication.
"What is he trying to do?"
"Hey, did he try to bewitch Momo?!"
"What's? Oi! Don't let him do anything!"
Lamona quickly said, "What did you do to catch him? This ... is amazing!"
The man who was about to hit Ashra was distracted and happily said, "He disguised himself as a human and went to the restaurant during the rain yesterday afternoon. We caught him with a mesh and made him unable to wrinkle a little with the drugging and electricity. Now we're going to parade him and flaunt him all over the city!"
"Then?" Lamona asked with a face that was hard to describe.
"Then what else? We'll build a well and put it in there so that everyone who's curious and doesn't believe in monsters can see it." Said the man.
Lamona looked at Asyra who also looked at her with tears and slowly smiled. "That's a great idea."
Hearing what Lamona said, Asyra's heart seemed to be pierced by something. Her bead widened, her hands fell and she could not respond with anything other than increasingly swift tears drenching her two pale cheeks.
"Let's go!"
Moving carts. But the pair of blue beads could not turn away from Lamona who also could not turn her face away from Asyra. Asyra could not understand anything from Lamona's gaze, however, her heart was so sore that she felt like it was breaking.
"Mo .. na?" it was as thin as the wind.
...***...
Lying in an iron cage with a sad and empty gaze, Asyra could not stop shedding tears. In fact, his tears seemed to dry up just as his body cried out that it needed water as soon as possible. Cold air greeted him even though he was inside a warehouse, with his tail tied to a heavy large chain that injured him.
Asyra did not understand why man could be so cruel, but he did not commit any crime at all.
He regretted coming to land. She regrets having ignored her brother's ban, and she regrets having met Lamona. The man who made his heart comfortable, the man who forced his mind to go crazy so he dared to come to the world of humans alone that even he did not know how the human world was. The man who made him fall. Lose ones heart.
Pt .. Pt .. Pt ..
Raising her head vigilantly when she heard the sound of light footsteps approaching, Asyra was about to put on a defensive pose when she was stunned to find a familiar face in front of her. Lamona looked at her, lowered the robe she was wearing and soundlessly crouched down in front of the cage where Asyra was locked up and pulled something out of her pocket.
A key.
Cklek!
Asyra was unable to respond for some time even after the chain on her tail came off. He looked at Lamona with a teary look and with trembling lips.
"Come here."
Lamona reached out her hand, opened it and gave a sign that Asyra should embrace her. Poking her tears, Asyra lunged at Lamona with a hug, along with Lamona's right hand which slipped under Ashra's tail, carrying her bridal style and standing up. "I'm gonna get you out of here."
"Don't be afraid." His whispers calmed down making Asyra's tears even more shed.
"I thought you ..." Ashra was unable to continue her words.
She thought Lamona left her.
Lamona tightened her embrace and in a soft voice whispered, "Sorry I did and said that horrible thing earlier. If I try to help you in front of them, they will prevent me from approaching you. I had to mingle with them to steal the keys and set you free. Ii'm sorry. I'm sorry for always being late. I'm sorry I didn't come to see you that day until I made you look for me. I'm sorry."
Asyra shook her head and tightened her embrace on Lamona's neck, preventing her stuffing from escaping her lips.
"Don't apologize."
The apology only made Asyra's feelings worse, feeling that the two, would never meet again.
Ten minutes walking with Asyra carried by him, the two arrived at the edge of the beach. Bringing Asyra further to shore, Lamona did not care if cold water pierced through her clothes. He only needed to bring Ashra into the water which could make Asyra swim. After reaching her thighs, Lamona stopped her legs and slowly lowered Asyra into the water.
"Go." Lamona's Order.
Asyra was about to say something when Lamona came back saying, "And never come back here again."
Asyra stunned. "What's? Wh-why?!"
Lamona looked at Asyra with a look of disbelief. "You don't realize what you've just experienced and don't know what could happen to you in the future if you get caught again, huh?!"
"The human world is too dangerous for you. I don't want you to get hurt, so I beg you never to come back here or appear on the surface!"
Asyra held Lamona's hand and shook her head. "But I don't want to leave you. I want to meet you every day, I want to be with you, hicks!"
Lamona looked at Asyra with a difficult to interpret gaze. Lamona is the same. He was comfortable and happy to be with Ashra. Their interactions all along made Lamona realize that she loved Asyra because she was just the way she was. So cheerful, bright and beautiful that Lamona did not want her to get hurt in the least. But this incident made Lamona realize, that the human world is not a place for Asyra. The human world is dangerous to him.
Lamona took her breath, pulling Asyra into her arms as the girl hugged her tightly back. "You remember that request I haven't mentioned, right?"
Hearing what Lamona said, Asyra widened her eyes. "No! Please don't say anything! I'll grant you anything, but don't tell me to leave!"
Lamona said it clearly but quietly. "My request, return to the sea, and never come to land again, huh?"
"Go."
Releasing her embrace at Asyra, Lamona smilingly looked at Asyra. "I'm not leaving you. You must leave me, Asyra."
Tears flowed from a pair of Asyra beads, and she closed her eyes and sobbed. "I ... hiks! Me .. I like you! Hicks!"
Lamona looked at her with a sad look, yet she tried to comment on a smile. "Go, Asyra. I have already made my request. So, good-bye."
Asyra saw Lamona still standing in her place, watching her. Tears and tears did not stop. Even when she turned her back to Lamona and started swimming away, she still cried and cried. She looked back when Lamona said, "Don't look back, Shra. It's okay, you did well. Swim away."
"Hiks! Hicks!"
His shoulders shook, his heart as if torn apart. Asyra did not wipe away her tears and quickly swam and jumped into the water before leaving a trail of water waves. He swam quickly down, not looking back even though he kept crying and kept crying. The ocean also felt its sadness, as well as the sky who also cried to see the events that had just happened.
"Hiks, hiks! Silly request!"
...***...
Standing gazing at the beach and the greeting waves, Lamona did not move even as the rain soaked her entire body. Lamona looked straight ahead with a view covered by her long bangs. Not knowing what his expression was, yet the next second, a murmur sounded softly from his lips.
"I love you."
