Chapter 4 "Bet From Iloania"

In the depths of the forest on the border of the Kingdom of Alete and the Kingdom of Nelx, stood an old building surrounded by trees. A small river was flowing beside the building. The surrounding trees become thicker and fresher.

Iloania stood on top of her plate. Floating 30 meters above the ground. The building appears to have enough lighting from torches installed at several points. His golden bead flashed in the light. Several large men were seen standing guard at the site, such as keeping the children from escaping. When several people appeared to come out and gather as if negotiating something, Iloania raised her left hand. The black disk in his hand floated a few centimeters above his palm. Before long, the disk was spinning rapidly.

"Paranada Trap." Muttering slightly, Iloania dropped her index finger covered in light forming a tapered shape.

When the tapered object came into contact with the rapidly spinning disc, the black-colored staves appeared to be real and twisted. The black paranada moved around some large men who were confused by what was happening. But they are trapped! When they tried to shout, even the sound of the wind could be heard. Their voices are completely muffled!

The black disk floated down and disappeared. Iloania's slender legs led her step towards them. Their beads widened and looked up at the guts. Open lips swore an Iloania absorbent who stained a smile.

"If you want to be free, reflect on your mistakes. Even if you try your hardest to get out, you'll be stuck in there forever if you don't even know what conscience is." Iloania said calmly.

His voice can enter through the membrane of the circle of light that arises from the circular paranada. But the voices of the men could not be heard at all, as loud as they shouted. They tried to use their magic elements to destroy that thin, transparent wall, however, the attack was absorbed and disappeared.

"Enjoy the rest of your life in there." Iloania muttered leaving those who were roaring and brutally beating the walls.

Stepping in silently, Iloania found a lot of people inside the spacious building. They are big and have scary faces. Busy themselves with their own affairs. The smell of alcohol and cigarette smoke stings. The slightly sharper Indra Iloania became ill, so she immediately covered her nose with her right hand. He was behind the wall and peeking. Finding a door that was slightly open showed the stairs down.

Iloania looked at the surroundings, "It seems like the only way is to fight them. Otherwise, I can't take the kids out."

Iloania raised her left hand parallel to her stomach. The black disc appeared again and spun around quickly. The index finger of her right hand was covered in an elongated light, Iloania swiped the sharp edge of the light as she twisted while muttering.

"Paranada Protection," he murmured in a soft tone.

The next second the strands of the paranada appeared to form a circle. And widened instantly through whatever it went through. Paranada formed a dome with a diameter of 100 meters and a height of 50 meters transparent. But when an outside object touches it, it will slightly emit a golden light marker there is a wall there. When a foreign object penetrated them, everyone inside was shocked and immediately put on a watchful attitude. Especially when Iloania raises herself.

"Who are you?!"

Lasius along with Hallias now almost arrived at the same place. According to the information they got from the townspeople, a few weeks ago there was indeed a new carriage from the Black Bats that led to their headquarters. His right hand was raised and a ball-shaped white light was created there. But as soon as Lasius was about to make a move, Hallias held him back.

"You can't destroy it, sir. It was not an easy wall to break. This protective wall is useless to protect them from intruders, but it protects something from getting out." Hallias.

Lasius stopped and turned, "How come?"

"The wall is covered with warm energy. This is not a protective wall that bad guys will put up. And there, I saw the same wall trapping some people. There's someone else here besides you who's dealing with black bats." Hallias.

"Then how do I get in?" Ask Lasius.

Hallias is flapping closer. Poking its wings against the wall, its fur strands could pierce through the protective wall easily without any hindrance.

"As I suspected. Spirits and high-level magical beasts unless humans could pass through these walls. It looks like this protective installer is worried about something if a human enters." Hallias.

"Bring me in." Cold Lasius made Hallias nod.

Hallias' body turned into light and enveloped Lasius. The young man then walked calmly into the protective wall and found a noisy sound from inside the building. From the outside, there was almost nothing, but when entering, a noise and a clear shout were heard. His curiosity made him and Hallias who had turned themselves into the size of a sparrow approach towards the building. From behind the window, Lasius clearly saw someone standing on a black disk floating 5 meters above the ground and dodging any attacks that came at him. The screaming sounds came from people who were furious and yelled to finish him off. Lasius scrunched his forehead as he looked at those long strands of hair and slender legs.

"He's a girl?" Lasius.

The golden beads of Iloania highlighted them calmly. Her lips opened, "Hey. Can we stop it first? Let's talk well."

The soft voice of Iloania made them including Lasius stunned in its place. He knew that Iloania was a woman. His voice was soft and full of warmth. It even made Hallias equally stunned.

The big man interjected, "Talk well nonsense! Come down and I'll chop you up!"

"I just want to take the kids you've kidnapped." Iloania is still hiding under her cloak.

"Did? You want to take them? You have to buy them." The man said with sarcasm.

Iloania was silent for a moment. He went down and spoke again. "Let's make a bet."

"Betc? What bet?" Ask them in turn.

Iloania raised her left hand, "We are fighting a magical beast. Our magic animals don't have to fight. Enough I'm gonna put all of your magical beasts for a few seconds into my magic ring and I'm gonna get them back out. I promise I won't hurt them. If they come out in fear, release everything you've kidnapped and let them go with me."

"Then what will we get if our animals come out all right?" Ask one of the men.

Iloania took off her cloak and displayed her perfect appearance as a goddess. A beautiful smile was on his face. Everyone was gaping and stunned to see the beauty that lay before them. Lasius looked at Iloania with a stunned look before turning his head at the horde of men staring hungry at Iloania.

He widened his eyes for a moment when he heard Iloania's reply, "You can get me."

"But if you break, you'll all die."
