"Look, why in the fire class are you ditching? It's not good to ditch." Lasius said, when his class was over.
Walking around the corridor beside the spacious courtyard, Iloania put her hands together behind her back and tilted her head. "I'm not ditching, actually. My class teacher kicked me out for not being satisfied with my fire magic. Get out, you guys just walk around until I remember Brother Sius' class."
Lasius surprised. "Your class teacher kicked you out of the class for not being satisfied with your magic? How's it possible?"
Iloania pressed her shoulders. "Well, let's just say it's off from class. Oh, ja. What time are we gonna watch the stars, brother? Just now, eum?"
"All right."
...***...
Iloania looked in awe at the night sky decorated with billions of stars. How small is it in this world, compared to the stars out there? Sometimes Iloania thinks that there is life out there. Life far from earth, in countless universes how vast. Is man so small and so small as to be invisible?
"What are you thinking?" Lasius's voice made Iloania retract her consciousness.
"Silver Sius, is it possible out there that there is another life besides ours, on earth?"
The question of Iloania kept Lasius quiet for a while. Before calmly smiling and looking up at the sky. "Maybe Ilo, maybe."
"Look, do you know. He said, everyone who dies will be a star." Lasius.
"Ah? Did ya? Who said it?" Iloania asked curiously.
Lasius smiled, "My mother."
Stunned, Iloania raised her head and looked back at the billions of stars with the moon reflecting the sun's light. Iloania looked at him deeply, before muttering subtly. "Means the teacher is one of those stars."
Iloania looked at her ring and spoke to Fleia with a bond of starches. "Vleia, which one do you think?"
"Perhaps, the dimest." Vleia's answer made Iloania frown.
"Mwo? Why the dimmer?"
Vleia's voice was not heard for a few seconds. "Because the man is shy Ilo. Don't you remember that he used to wear a mask when he was going out, and saying that if he was ashamed people would look at him?"
"That's because the teacher is handsome, and the teacher isn't comfortable with someone else's gaze." Iloania.
"Teachers are supposed to be the brightest stars, because teachers are so good."
Vleia's voice sounded again. "okay? Heh, I recalled how he forcefully forced me to eat vegetables. Will it be called good?"
Iloania tilted her head slightly. "The devil wants you to be healthy and get fat."
"I am a magical beast, how can I be fat by eating human food!"
"Let's." Lasius's call made Iloania take her eyes off quickly, and face off with the brief glint of a beautiful necklace. The pendant is a bright red ruby jewel shaped like a small butterfly wing. Looks simple with a thread-thin chain made of silver that is light but strong. Iloania was stunned and stared at the pair of inner beads belonging to Lasius.
"Sius' brother?"
Lasius rolled up a smile. "Thank you for coming that day. And thank you, for meeting me, Ilo."
...***...
In his dorm room, Zalion settles down with a dark face. Under the dim lighting of the table lamp, the tones and words were repeated.
"Basic sucks. Basic arrogant. Basic sucks. Basic arrogant. Basic sucks. You're arrogant."
Hours ago, Lasius ordered it. He even let her ditch the first class in search of a necklace. Just a necklace she had to find at the best craft accessories store in the city of Pierst, northeast of Dragon Academy. Have to take care of it carefully and really be forced to look for the most beautiful necklace. Indeed, if it were not for the man being a prince, it was certain that Zalion would have kicked him to the ground in public.
A white butterfly that emitted a hint of light flapped its wings and perched around Zalion. The young man was surprised and saw him.
"A message?" Beo Zalion's.
...***...
The teenage boy ran through the crowd quickly. Inside the spacious canteen, join a large group of first-year magicians and take a deep breath, before cutting off the chatter of the entire horde of first-year students with a loud voice.
"What?!"
"really? Where'd you get the wind?"
"This is not just wind news! I accidentally heard one teacher's words to another when I went to the teacher's office! The Seventh Day Night was actually said to be held in the palace!" Hardly the man felt his statement was true.
Some girls exchanged looks. "Yes! If so, can we see His Majesty King Legarion?!"
"Yeah!! Your Majesty must be very handsome to see in person!"
"If it were true, it would be awesome!"
The noise is rapidly spreading. And even some of the second and third level students also listened and became a little curious. A small group sat in the middle of the table, their chatter was not loud, and quickly heard the chatter of another group being put on the canteen.
"Woah, that's right too. Isn't the beginning of the first year at Dragonia Academy going to be held the Seventh Day Night?" Jissiana.
Lane's breaking the table. "Damn it! I can't wait to wait for it."
"Yes, especially if it's true diistana, wouldn't it be very interesting. I wonder what we're gonna do there." Kane said with a face as enthusiastic.
Zalion who was sitting at the end asked. "You guys seem so excited. Do you think this is like a vacation?"
Jissiana shook her head. "It's not like that either. However, it is still fun to visit the palace. Who am I as an ordinary person allowed to the palace, if it's true that Seventh Day Night is done in the palace, it'll probably be my only chance to see the palace!"
"True, let alone being able to meet His Majesty the King!" Kane.
Iloania asked Fleia with her thoughts. "Vleia, do you know what Seventh Day Night is ?"
"I'm like I've heard of it. Oh right, it seems like the man once said some things a little bit related to this. Remember every year the rise of seven shooting stars?"
"Oh, I remember - I remember. What happened to Seventh Day Night ?"
"It looks like the people here think it's a special phenomenon. And every star shard must have fallen in an area that has a lot of magic. And their job might be related to finding that star stone fragment." Vleia.
"That star stone, isn't what we often find ?" Beo Iloanian.
Fleia was silent for two seconds before replying. "Looks."
"Oh Ilo's. I wonder what has changed from you. Hey, when did you use the necklace?" Jissiana finally found a difference in Iloania.
A silver necklace with small butterflies coiled around his neck and slightly hidden behind strands of hair. Jissiana's words though in a normal voice invited others to be curious and turned to Iloania who did have a necklace around her neck. That contrasts with the white skin of a baby in Iloania.
"Where did you get it, Ilo? The necklace is so beautiful!" Praise Jissiana.
Whether by chance or not, only Kane noticed the thin arch-lipped Lasius who had been quietly enjoying his food from the beginning. Kane shut his mouth and could not help, but felt a very uncomfortable feeling in his chest.
If it is true ..
Iloania did not reply, but naturally glanced at Lasius who was looking straight at her. Iloania could not help, but felt quite happy in her heart. Unfortunately, none of them knew and realized that Zalion's face had blackened and stared at Lasius viciously as if he wanted to chew it. It was really the sour taste that made him have to ditch.
God, Zalion has never even done this to a girl!
