Legend of the Moon Crystal

Legend of the Moon Crystal
Chapter 46 "Praying at the Temple of Spring"

Iloania looked around and found that her friends including Lasius and Eleanor were sitting at a large table. Many of the canted stole a glance at them, mainly due to the existence of two of the most recognizable people at the opening ceremony of the new student admission. Especially with the arrival of Iloania who took the empty bench next to Miaka, the people glanced more and more, especially the women. Iloania's beauty was matched by her weak strength.

"Ilo, how? Hows it? What's the principal doing?" Jissiana asked gave rise to her curious soul.

Before Iloania answered, Lasius had grabbed her. "What are you doing with the principal?"

"That, the principal only asked a few small things, not a big deal. By the way today, Lasius wants to come train with me, again?" Tawar Iloania as well as divert the topic of conversation.

Lasius was clearly aware that Iloania was trying to shift the subject. But even so, recalling his last failed practice, Lasius clenched his hands and nodded his head firmly.

"I'm coming along."

Iloania nodded and smiled brightly. "Alright~"

...***...

Little Iloania walked through the cobbled streets. A pair of lightweight footwear wrapped around her slender legs. The dress is still, with the addition of a dark blue robe that covers his body to the knee. His pair of manics looked around him carefully, trying to find something that could lead him towards the ghost humans. Unfortunately even to the borders of other cities, nothing could be found.

"Hum?" Iloania muttered faintly as she found a building near the river. There is a bridge on the river and it seems to connect the two cities.

Intrigued, Iloania came to him and found someone opening both big doors. Give people access to the temple. Two huge pillars characterize the temple. The white stone pillars are carved in such a way, creating threaded carvings and forming a classic beauty. Iloania looked at each carving and held her smile. The man found Iloania and was a little surprised, before greeting kindly.

"Son, do you want to pray?" Iloania looked at him and nodded her head.

"Come in, come in" the man invited her warmly. Let him through the big door, and find an empty hall with a pond and a statue in the middle of the hall. It was a statue of a woman who had four hands and had two containers of scales on her lower two hands. The other two hands hold a harp and a wreath. In his dingelamnya, clear water reflected a sparkle, as many silver and gold coins were highlighted by the morning sunlight from the magnificent tall windows.

Iloania could not help, but was a little stunned.

"Truly a beautiful and graceful woman. Who's she?" Ask Iloania.

The man beside him was struggling with the worship table in front of the statue, and calmly replied. "Goddess Artorphs, symbolizes greed, but also symbolizes sacrifice. Goddess Artorphs is a goddess revered by people all over this city."

"A long time ago, Goddess Artorphs was the most beloved goddess in the kingdom of the heavens. But the Sun God and the Moon Goddess saw the greed in him. Goddess Artorphs is very happy to collect various jewelry and crystals, even to those in the human world. The angry Sun God punished both men and removed almost all of their power. Goddess Artorphs who was banished to the human world still continues to collect gems and crystals, until she meets a human. Know what's going on?" In the middle of the story, the man asked.

Iloania seemed to think for a moment. "Let me guess, they must have fallen for each other."

"True and wrong. Only the Goddess Artorphs loved, whereas the human had loved another woman, who had been killed in the war. The man only loved his lover and ignored the Goddess Artorphs, who disguised themselves as real humans. Due to the persistence and sincerity of Goddess Artorphs, the human heart was moved and the two fell in love."

The man continued while pouring a few drops of clear liquid from inside the bottle into the pool. The soothing fragrance smelled. "Next, the two are together. But once again, what the two did was seen in the eyes of the Sun God, so the god tested the Goddess Artorphs by telling the God Scorte, the god of plague to send a plague to the country where they were. The people affected by the plague will be subject to their disease and like a corpse will live by eating the blood of another, but it is contagious."

Iloania raised her eyebrows. "Hum, so gods and goddesses aren't allowed to fall in love with humans?"

"Right, maybe it's already the will of the heavens."

"Then, what happens next uncle?" Ask Iloania curious.

The man paused for a moment, "The number of infected humans would be aware of the presence of blood coming out of the body on the wound. So, Goddess Artorphs made her blood smell stronger and she slashed her entire body with a knife and drowned herself in the lake. Letting his blood spread and filled the lake. After infected humans flock to come and drink the lake water, they die."

"That's how Goddess Artorphs protects that human." Said the man.

Iloania smiled sweetly and said lightly. "Thank you for your story, uncle."

Afterwards Iloania gathered in front of the statue and put her hands together in front of her chest. Slightly lowered his head and chanted words without a sound on his lips. Iloania raised her left hand and brought up a piece of gold coin in her hand, and threw it in the dark with her mother's throw. The coin hit the goddess's feet, rolled around the feet of Goddess Artorphs and ended up falling into a clear pond, mixed with other pieces of coin.

"Are you a witch?" The question of the man beside her made Iloania nod her head.

"Yes. Elements of wind and fire, is uncle a witch?" Ask Iloania.

The man laughed and shook his head. "No, I'm just a regular keeper. He has no magic and power other than prayer. Bless you with magic, young man. Use magic wisely, love and give blessings to many."

Iloania nodded, "That must be uncle. Like right now, I'm trying my best to help."

"Oh? Helped what?" Ask the man curious. Iloania just put on a smile, making her manic arched narrowly.

"Something."

...***...

"The training this time is the same. Cross that bridge, and I will teach you the next step. Listen, even if I don't like you, it doesn't mean I'll let you lose control because of the darkness in your heart. Just get it done and don't worry about what's going to happen." Fleia said as she folded her hands in front of her chest.

Lasius who stood in front of him firmly nodded his head. Of course he knew that the Iloania magic beast was a two-faced magic beast. Despite looking indifferent, unfriendly and rude, he was actually being kind and professional. The proof, not allowing himself to lose control at yesterday's practice. And even allowing him to undergo and follow the possible training, devoted to Iloania and not denying his existence here. Lasius clenched his hands, and made up his resolve to resolve the darkness in his heart. He should be able to resolve the chaos that was going on in his mind, in order to increase his mental strength.

So without a word again Lasius gave one steady step to the bridge, which in a split second led him to a dark empty space. Filled with laughter and miserable moans.

"It's gonna be okay, let's do Lasius. Let's do it." He muttered to himself.
