Darkness again enveloped Lasius's sight. Taking in as deep a breath as possible, Lasius tried to calm himself down. As the sound of laughter echoed, Lasius refrained himself from being affected. Lasius tried to survive.
"The woman deserves to die, doesn't she?"
"I want to laugh, his death is really funny."
"Our plan has worked. Your Majesty the King, how is the next move?"
"Kill everything."
When Lasius turned his body around, the image of a woman lying in a room covered in blood made his heart beat faster. His breathing was hunting, although he clearly remembered how it had happened, looking back made his heart feel like it had been stabbed with a sword. There was a 12-year-old boy beside her, purple-eyed with a mane as dark as night.
Little Lasius stared blankly at the woman's stiff body and muttered softly. "Mother?"
"Why is Mom lying on the floor? It's cold, why didn't Mom answer me? Mother sick? Mother sleeps in bed, right? Lasius was already big and strong carrying his mother." The little boy restrainedly carried the broad basket woman in the room, laid her down carefully and covered her.
Lasius clenched his teeth and spoke hatefully. "That guy.that fucking guy!!"

Day Twenty-One, Fourth Month, Spring
The sky was bright with the smell of flowers in the courtyard of Alete Palace. The bustle felt and sounded, the people in black and white maid clothes passed by the corridor and the spacious courtyard. Clean and manage every corner of the palace that can be accessed.
"Prince, jeez! Don't run, Prince!"
Little Lasius ran up to the ground with a carefree face. A smile expands on his handsome face as well as his sweetness. Although he was 12 years old, still childishness was not a problem for him. "I want to visit my sister, aunt. Aunty don't chase me~"
"God! Prince, please don't run! Huu~" The middle-aged woman chased after Lasius by crying without tears. While being chased, it had already darted towards the Western Palace.
One hand knocked on the door quickly. "Sister? Is brother inside? Brother?"
"Come in. The door's not locked."
Opening the door, Lasius closed it with a back hand and immediately approached a teenage boy who was sitting on a beautiful gold-carved bench. The room was spacious, there was a large bed and tall windows lined up neatly, overlooking the spacious courtyard and royal landscape. Legarion de Alete is his older brother. He is 16 years old and has an appearance that is very similar to King Alete. The mane was blond with a cold red bead, but in front of him. The pair of red beads were warm and soft.
Flipping the pages of his book, Legarion let Lasius sit across from him and began to complain. "Sister, does sister know? Today my aunt scolded me twice. I'm so pissed off."
"Why is sister upset? What's your fault until you get scolded?" Ask.
"Auntie told me to finish vegetables. I hate my veggies, and after that my aunt scolded me for running around. I want to quickly meet my sister. After all, isn't it natural for boys to run around?" Lasius.
Legarion laughed softly. "First, auntie was right about your mamarah about vegetables. Eating vegetables is important, why do you hate them?"
"Second, boys can run. But if you're with someone else, it's rude to run and leave him behind. As a man, you have to be polite and fair. Understood?" Said.
Lasius pursed his lips. "Understand, but vegetables are not tasty. It feels weird."
Lasius stood up and said in an annoyed tone. "I'll go to Mother's place. Brother sucks too. Huh!"
After Lasius died, Legarion smiled and sighed. Before his activity came to a halt when a small ball of light stopped in front of him. His lips tightened, and his hands clenched tightly before the light dimmed and disappeared without a remnant.

Lasius looked around him in confusion. Normally, his mother's Palace would have many guards and workers. But why does it feel so lonely? Are they resting? Without much thought, Lasius set his little foot toward the door with a beautiful carving at the end of the hall. Tapping him several times, Lasius never got an answer from the owner of the room.
"Mother?" Call her.
Knocks.. Knocks.. Knocks..
"Mother? Is Mom inside?" Ask.
Curious, Lasius opened the door of the room that turned out to be unlocked. As soon as Lasius entered, the sight full of blood made his manic dilate. A woman in black straggles lay on the floor with terrible wounds all over her body. His hand holding the door handle fell by his side and his body stiffened. His bead was perfectly rounded with a shock that could no longer be described.
"Mother?"
"Why is Mom lying on the floor? It's cold, why didn't Mom answer me? Mother sick? Mother sleeps in bed, right? Lasius was already big and strong carrying his mother."
Finishing his words, Lasius had little trouble getting the woman into bed. Covering him and cleaning the blood spots around the Queen's face using the tip of the white sleeve he wore. The visual of blood did not make his cold expression change, void and empty.
"Good sleep Mother, sweet dreams." Finally after landing a light kiss on the mother.

On his throne, King Yougel Marhc de Alete looked coldly straight ahead. Behind him, a cloaked person reported calmly what he had done.
"The task you gave me has been completed, Your Majesty."
"What's his last word?" Ask.
Someone behind him shook his head hidden behind his black robe. "He didn't say anything, Your Majesty."
A slanted smile was on his handsome face. "The woman is too troublesome. He tried to defy me, rejecting my plan to pit Legarion and Lasius, to determine who was worthy of being Crown Prince. Heh, it's appropriate that he die, and he'll be quiet not to bother me."
He raised his hand and flicked his finger, as the body of the man behind him seemed to be wrapped around the root, before exploding with a scream of agony. Blood splattered on the marble floor, but the King paid no heed to it and showed a smile of satisfaction on his face.
"The fools. It should be smarter, heh."
...***...
The news of the death of Queen Ishabeta was widespread. Many people were struck down, considering how the Queen was a kind and meek person. His death was due to an assassin, and anyone who killed would be executed on that very day, after being caught by the royal guard. Or at least that's what they believe. Funerals are held in the afternoon, under the sky that grieved and delivered water droplets of sadness, people gather in funerals in all black clothes. In everyone's eyes, the King actually looked struck and people wiped their tears using handkerchiefs.
Only Lasius stared flatly at the magnificent tomb in front of him. No tears, no emotions. But Legarion, who was beside him with a pair of red eyes, that his sister's heart must be in turmoil and filled with tremendous anger. Their mother was the one they cared about the most, but Lasius even saw her dead body in front of his own eyes. Legarion can't even imagine what pain and wonder what the visual is.
Hours passed, two people were left in front of the tomb full of flowers. Legarion carried a black umbrella in her hand, covering her and her sister. Under the dark cloud-covered sun, Lasius uncovers questions that make Legarion's bead widen.
"The one, Your Majesty, isn't it?"
Legarion looked at him in disbelief. "How are you-"
"The mother rejected the father who wanted to get us pitted to determine who could get the position of Crown Prince. I heard it that night, but, I didn't expect that father would kill Mother."
Her tears flowed as she looked at her brother. "Sister, I killed Mother. Mother died because of me, hiks.."
Legarion grabbed onto Lasius and shook his head. "No.. That's not true. It wasn't Lasius who made Mom die. Not Lasius, don't do this, Sius. I'm not gonna like it."
"Son, Mommy's sorry if.. Mother could not accompany Rion and Sius anymore. Your father, he's been blinded by power. From the beginning, your father never loved you, but your father had high hopes for you. Forgive Mother.. But believe me, Mother will always be in the heart of Rion and Sius. As an older brother, take care of and protect Sius, Rion. Mother's beloved son."
At the point the ball of light disappeared, a clear tear slid past his cheek and stuffed out.
"Mother, Mother, hiks!"
