Chapter 5 "Must Keep the Promise"

Lasius peeked out from behind the wall as he had quietly stepped inside the building. The purple bead the color of his wine looked at Iloania who was standing in the middle of the crowd quietly. Even her smile still remained on her extraordinarily beautiful face. The men started to take out their magical beasts. Magic beasts with levels 1 to 7 appeared around him. It appeared in a large, well-lit room. The golden bead of Iloania stared at every magical beast that looked extremely ferocious, due to the ambition of its poor owner.

"Only them?" Ask Iloania to make sure.

The man in front of him smirked, "We'll feel your body immediately. Get ready, you arrogant girl."

Iloania tilted her head and smiled. "Alright~"

The next thing Iloania did was raise her left hand, and whisper a little. "Vleia darling. We'll play for a while. Ready already? ".

The light was shining brighter in a split second. Reviewing the smile, Iloania absorbed all the magical beasts into her dimension ring.

"What is he trying to do?" Lasius muttered softly.

"Master. That girl is an Earth 10 witch." Hallias.

"When he was at Earth 10, even a level 4 magic beast could injure him. While in front of him there are many people with magic that exist at a higher level." Lasius whispered.

Hallias looked at Iloania, "Are you going to help her?"

"Eitherway. He hasn't been cornered." Say Lasius flat.

Iloania opened her lips and counted normally, "Five."

"Four.."

The man around her grinned, "He'll be our toy after the count ends."

"Three.."

Iloania smiled, "Two.."

"And one." Continue along with its ringed light that gently scatters.

In the next instant, all of the magical beasts earlier came out with a state that made their eyes bulge. All of the animals curled up with eyes that showed fear. Their bodies were trembling, even they were powerless to withstand the weight of their bodies. Crawling on the ground, there was not a single magical beast that was not afraid. Even many of them broke the contract forcibly, even though they would receive the ill effects. Lasius behind the wall scrunched his forehead.

"What's inside that dimensional ring?" Ask Hallias.

But Hallias shook his head, "I can't see anything, sir."

Iloania smiled, "Now let them go."

Some of them stared furiously and lightly at Iloania. "Don't dream. Although these beasts are weak, we have strength. We'll still be able to make you our toy."

"Yes!" Said another man.

The man smirked approaching Iloania along with some other men, "Let's play."

Iloania's face became flat. That friendliness and warmth disappeared, replaced by a sharp and cold glint, which made the men feel a bit of an oddity. Iloania raised her right hand and flicked her finger. The next second the heads and bodies of the men approaching him separated just like that, before a faint gust of wind was felt. Everyone widened their eyes.

"Don't I tell you. If you break, you will die. Why are you ignoring him?" Said Iloania in a colder tone.

Lasius was stunned to see Iloania kill so lightly. No, if they die, they won't be able to account for what they did. After all, death is not something trivial. They are human and have their own families. If until they die with no remorse, it's bad.

"We have to catch them first." Lasius made Hallias nod in understanding.

Lasius muttered softly, "Chain of Light," and the next second, from his hand came a light that crept rapidly upon the surprised big men instead of playing, as the light slowly formed chains that held back and prevented them from escaping. Because the chain is connected, so that if one tries to escape, if the other is not as simple as, they will be restrained and hit each other. Iloania turned her head and found a beautiful figure of Lasius emerging from behind the wall. The appearance of Lasius clearly made the men even more angry but also felt panic.

"Let us go!"

"Don't! Who are you guys?! Release us!"

"Hey!! Unhand me!"

The men screamed and tried to free themselves. Although it was like an impossibility even when their magic could not be used.

"Who?" Iloania Mummings.

"I just want to catch them. You don't have to interfere."

Lasius, "A-Ah! Fine."

Iloania smiled making Lasius stunned, "Sister's little friend is adorable by the way."

Lasius turned to Hallias who was beside him. Adorable? Hallias's? From the side of it?!

Following Iloania, Lasius walked beside him towards the basement. "Why are you willing to risk yourself for children? What if they beat you?"

"Sa, I made a promise to a kid who got out of here. I'll save them and bring his sister back." Answer Iloania.

"Why did you do it?" Ask Lasius.

Iloania frowned, "Why? Do I need a reason to help a struggling child?"

Iloania fell silent and sped up her pace when she heard the sound of crying. While Lasius stopped his steps and looked at the door beside him. As soon as Lasius opened the door with the magic seal, he found dozens of high-level magical beasts tied up with magic seals. If they rebel, they will be hurt. The magic beasts were clearly in pain with wounds and dried blood.

"Grrr~ Man!" Their fists as they stared at Lasius.

Iloania was stunned to see dozens of children cowering in fear. Their bodies were dirty and gave off a pungent smell. Even the smell spread throughout the room. Iloania looked at them with a flash in her eyes. It's nothing, it's the tears in his eyes. Iloania held back her tears, but a single tear escaped. Iloania involuntarily crouched down and sobbed. Making the children who were originally frightened instead of playing looked at Iloania with confusion.

"Hiks.. Hicks.."

Iloania looked around her and began to wipe away her tears, "Qilan! Where's that kid named Qilan?"

The kids look at each other. And a person who felt his name being called raised his hand weakly. Iloania chased after him and settled down beside the already very weak daughter.

"No.." - Iloania.

Qilan looked at Iloania with my eyes and said in a barely whispering tone, "Sir Ray must be asking for help big brother."

"Yes. Your brother asked me for help. That's why we're out of here, huh?" Iloania said with a warm smile.

Iloania carried Qilan on her back, "Kids. Let's get out."

Children who hear it are excited not playing. They are free, and will no longer be locked up. Qilan looked at Iloania for a moment and smiled faintly, before she closed her eyes and whispered.

"Qi dear brother Ray.."

Lasius had now destroyed the magic seal attached to those spiritual beasts. Lasius released them all, but they did not give a good response.

"Basic man! Don't think we'll thank you even if you set us free!"

The bear-shaped magic beast led the human-uncontracted magical beast out. All kinds of magical beasts came out followed by Lasius who dragged the magic chain in his hand. The big man followed him, but did not dwell as the large Hallias' figure escorted them not to flee.

"Wake up!"

"Wake, please! Awake up!" The soft voice sounded panicked.

Iloania pressed down on Qilan's chest and slapped out the healing magic. However, Qilan was no longer breathing. His body grew weaker and weaker. His body temperature slowly cooled. But Iloania kept trying to use her healing magic.

"Please.. I have to keep my promise. Please, please.." muttered Iloania.
