Legend of the Moon Crystal

Legend of the Moon Crystal
Chapter 135 "As A Myth"

Seeing that she was injured, Lamona looked at her, stepping closer to her before the figure grew increasingly brutal in trying to get out of the net. Lamona stopped her steps, half crouched down and tried to lower her voice slowly.

"Smoke, please be quieter. I'm .. I'm not dangerous."

"I'll help you, okay?" lamona said slowly, waiting for the moment where the girl's figure became calmer.

At first he was still rebelling violently, but after some time sensing that Lamona had no ill intentions towards him and waiting patiently for him, the figure slowly reduced his movements, lessening his movements, and it wasn't too ferocious when Lamona reached out her hand to help her break away from the net.

"In a moment, it'll be over." Lamona said interrupted by his movement to release the mesh from the body of the figure.

When Lamona managed to throw the net aside, he was stunned. In front of her is a beautiful female figure. With the appearance of her young face, she was arguably a teenager. The girl had a blond mane, at first glance it looked like a platinum thread that was so beautiful and charming. A pair of blue beads as deep as the ocean made someone who looked at him could be sucked into the enchanted ocean. His skin was as pale as snow, it looked colder at night, and as smooth as silk.

Lamona recalled for a moment that he had seen such a picture in a book he had borrowed from the village library.

Merfolk.

There is a legend that says that the existence of the mermaid is like a treasure for the ocean. The sea loves the mermaid, and the mermaid loves the ocean. The beauty of a mermaid is a privilege, with a stunning tail that can create waves, and with a deceptive beauty on its face. Mermaids can turn their tears into pearls, their scales as jewels, and their laughter into opium.

Later, records say that if someone helped a mermaid, in the past, humans would get one chance to make a wish. Wealth, delicious food, getting a partner or even increasing in age, mermaids will grant it.

It is said that they were extinct when there was a war between dugongs and humans several thousand years ago, but Lamona did not expect that she could meet a mermaid with her own eyes when she even believed that a mermaid was a mere myth!

He looked at Lamona with a faint trace of fear, but never hid the vigilance and caution and ferocity he had. "This is gonna hurt a little bit, hang on."

Lamona said that while looking right at the mermaid's blue bead, before carefully extending her hand towards the spear.

It wasn't her that was stabbed and it wasn't her that felt the pain, but Lamona was so nervous that her hand almost trembled as she raised her hand to grab the spear and pulled it carefully.

"Shii!!!"

The mermaid grimaced with a loud voice, and her expression displayed a seemingly overwhelming pain. Lamona knew, because the fishing spear was indeed different from an ordinary spear. The body of the fish is naturally slippery, and if using an ordinary spear it is feared that it will accidentally release the fish back. Therefore, the spear is designed with two sharp teeth behind, as a hook to keep the spear stuck.

The golden-white liquid was overflowing as Lamona pulled the spear bit by bit, so finally, Lamona managed to pull out the spear from the mermaid tail. "Did it hurt?"

"Well, sorry .. but--!" Lamona flinched, "You can talk?"

The mermaid narrowed her eyes at Lamona, and her pale face displayed a stark expression of dissatisfaction. "You think I'm mute? That's not polite, humph!'

Lamona was astonished by the development taking place and quickly shook her head. "No, that's not what it means. I'm, surprised you speak human language. No, from the books I read, the mermaids can't speak human language."

The mermaid rolled her eyes lazily as she was completely convinced that the man in front of her was completely harmless. He had nothing to fear, and even with his liberated state, he could easily break the human neck in front of him. Right, with one swing of the hand.

Hand swing.

"Oh, wait here for a second. I'm gonna find a plant that can heal your wounds around here."

The mermaid's hands stopped in the air as Lamona hurriedly stood up, grabbed a stick that lit a fire and walked quickly into the bushes in search of the intended plant. The mermaid looked at his back. The mermaid's eyesight is excellent. They live in deep seas and are accustomed to darkness, and they can even see well being driven hundreds of miles away when they are in the water.

Not long after, Lamona ran towards the mermaid with some leaves in her hand. Lamona carried two stones, piled up the leaves and pounded them repeatedly, arranged them and pounded them back until the leaves became soft, smooth and released a green liquid.

Lamona picked it up, and applied it to the deep mermaid-scaled wound. The mermaid did not say anything despite the pain, and only grimaced while clenching her hands tightly.

Sitting across from her, Lamona looked at her and opened her lips. "My name is Lamona, what's your name?"

The mermaid looked at him up and down for some time, seemed to judge him, before snorting and saying, "Ashra."

"Since you help me, I will grant you one wish. Say it right now!"

Oh, Lamona thinks it's just a mere wreath.

Turns right.
