"Do you know, usually people will break the rules if the rules are set. So the point is, the rules are there to be broken, right?"
Luce said as she turned her body. He stepped upside down, and his hands hid behind his body. His green bead looked right at the pair of black irises that at that moment also looked at him with a frown on his forehead. I could not speak for the girl's statement.
Since their first meeting, Hesian had not expected that the girl actually continued to appear in front of him with all her chatter being useless to him at all. Sometimes, he doesn't even understand what he's saying. However, there is a problem that is more confusing than the two things above.
Hesian did not feel disturbed by his presence.
Luce returned to her original way of walking and returned to babbling. "My uncle had just said that I shouldn't eat a lot of fatty foods and I secretly stole a large plate of meat from inside the refrigerator and roasted it myself. After all, meat is delicious. How can I resist the temptation not to eat meat try?"
"Oh yes! Do you like animals? I actually used to have an adorable little cat, but for health reasons, it had to be kept away from me, so I was actually really lonely at home."
Luce didn't tell a lie. When he was five years old, he had a lovely little cat. However, despite being adorable, the cat was actually a saint beast. As magic and holy power are two things that collide, Luce's magic is slowly absorbed by the cat, until the cat goes berserk due to damage to the animal's core and is forced to be killed.
Remembering it back, Luce always felt sad. At least, the cat was his friend when he felt lonely in his silver cage.
Looking at Luce's faintly swaying black strands of hair, Hesian frowned. Silence in the passing silence.
He lowered his head, followed his feet, and for the first time after hours had passed, he opened his lips. "Are you hungry?"
Luce immediately turned her body around to make Hesian flinch and stop her steps. There was a subtle feeling in his heart when he saw Luce's expression. Glow with a pair of sparkling eyes. He could almost see the stars inside. He did not know where the part that made the girl excited, but the next second, he had been dragged into the middle of the street in the middle of the city.
"What food do you want?" As he asked, his pair of manics sparkled with an expanding smile on his face.
There was no anxiety or clumsiness, and he really thought of himself as the person closest to him. His long hair was swept away by the wind as he walked cheerfully, and slightly swept over Hesian's face. Soft, and fragrant.
Plum flower.
Plum flower, sweet and soft scented. It fits perfectly with his carefree and sunnier personality.
Hesian pursed her lips and with a faint movement returned the grasp of the tiny hand in her own hand. He opened his lips and replied to Luce's question. "I eat anything."
Hearing this, Luce contemplated many delicious foods and many famous places, but in the end took the young man to a tavern that had to go into a long alley. The shop stood with a building made of wood, and from its outward appearance, the building seemed dubious. But Luce really assured Hesian that the inside of the place was not as bad as it looked from the outside.
Justright. As soon as he opened the door, the atmosphere of the place changed. From the beginning like an old abandoned building into a small restaurant with a warm atmosphere in it. Round tables are arranged in several empty rooms, and the cooking room is limited only by a long drinking table like in a bar.
Buyers can really see the cooking process, even can lightly chat with the chef.
Seeing the arrival of the two in a fairly crowded store at that time, a middle-aged man wearing a black apron and a headband on his head recognized Luce in one glance as his regular customer and greeted her kindly as he turned over the food he cooked directly with his vow. "Welcome, Starlight! Tumben once for you to bring a friend. Especially a handsome guy. Is she your lover?"
Luce waved her hand, replying to the tavern owner's greeting. "So soon it may be, uncle."
Hearing that, Hesian just looked at him with one eyebrow raised and looked straight ahead again when Luce gave him a bright smile. Didn't he say that Hesian was his first love?
It sounds strange, but he really likes it at first sight.
"Haha!! All righty! So, since we have a special guest, I'll make a special menu here." Said the shopkeeper lightly.
Turning around, Obe-owner of the store resumed his cooking activities and began to mix spices for the special menu he meant. Luce took a serious look before she opened her lips and turned to Hesian. "I also love to cook, you know. Aren't you curious?"
Hesian turned his head, glancing at Luce with a gaze that expressed his disbelief. Seeing that, Luce frowned and said solemnly. He even patted his chest steadily, firmly and not lightly. "I can really cook. I'm good at it."
Hesian snorted, and ignored him again.
"I really can! Just wait! When we get married, you'll really get hooked on my cooking!" After saying that, Luce puffed her cheeks in a really cute way and chose to turn her face away.
Be married?
"Who wants to marry you?"
He muttered like that, but the corner of his lips without him noticing was slightly off.
Glancing at the two, Obe really could not help but laugh. Young people today are really interesting.
...***...
Luce and Hesian spent a lot of time to finish their meal. After a little more pleasantry, the two immediately walked out of the tavern. Luce breathed fresh air on a cold, bright night by the round moon.
"Eih, it's night."
He muttered and realized that it was time for them to separate. He turned his head, looked at Hesian who was now justifying his robe, and covered his head with the hood of his black robe, turning to prepare to leave, before his steps came to a sudden halt.
He turned his back, and saw Luce smiling as she hooked her hands behind his back, looking calm and sweet.
Hesian was about to open his lips, but in the end the words he wanted to get out were snagged and he again closed his thin lips.
"Actually, you haven't mentioned your name all day, to me."
Luce said dramatically. "It's really sad that I am. The guy I like doesn't even want to tell me his name. It's called like but don't even know his name?"
Hesian said nothing and pursed his lower lip. Perhaps doubt whether he should answer her or turn away. Seeing the doubtful look of the tall young man before him, Luce flashed a smile, her pair of manics narrowed like a sparkling moon. He firmly took a step forward, stretched out his hand and tiptoed.
Hesian's bead widened as the pair of slender arms coiled around her neck, and felt a soft and cold feeling firmly stuck to her cheek, giving rise to a loud pop sound that made her body stiffen.
"Haha!" Luce pulled her body back, unable to hold back her laughter and waved her hand. "See you tomorrow!"
He turned around, about to continue in his footsteps when he heard a cold hoarse voice behind him. "Hessian. That's my name."
Luce smiled, about to tease Hesian who finally gave her name. But when he turned around, there was no one else there. Luce was not disappointed, her heart was filled with flowers and she hummed a carefree song before her body melted into light as she took a few steps forward.
"See you tomorrow, Hesian."
