Jaka Umbara; The Wind Warrior

Jaka Umbara; The Wind Warrior
Towards the Banggolan market

Jaka and Nyi Dewi almost got to the place that was accused by Barjo. Banggolan Market. Stay through one more small hamlet that needs to be passed to arrive at the Banggolan market.

"You, Dinda is sleepy. Can't we just rest for a little while?" the powerless Laraas lamented withstanding the drowsiness that assaulted his face. Laras walked by holding on to Nyi Dewi's arm. He covered his mouth several times.

"Hold on in a minute. Yea? Didn't we just get out of the inn this morning? It hasn't even met tonight!"

"Yes, Diajeng! We'll be there soon!"

"But Dinda was no longer able to hold him back, Mbakyu.."

"What if you get on my back so you can fall asleep for a while?"

"Hm!.." said Laras resigned. There is no other way, thought Laras. At least he can close his eyes for a while without moving much rather than having to walk while holding back his drowsiness that continues to come.

Jaka crouched down and waited for Laras to climb onto his back. After Laras ascended and was in his carriage, Jaka and Nyi Dewi immediately continued their steps towards the Banggolan market.

"Are you sleeping now?"

Laras spread his face on Jaka's shoulder by facing his face towards Nyi Dewi who was walking next to Jaka. Shifting his face looking for a position he felt comfortable in. "Hm!.. Kanda's shoulders feel so comfortable.. Dinda ..." racau Laras and a moment later Laras was asleep.

Jaka and Nyi Dewi again continued their steps. Both of them had walked for almost a quarter of an hour. In the distance there are several houses covered by large trees.

"Kangmas, it seems like Diajeng is not used to traveling far like this?" nyi Dewi said, filling the emptiness of the journey.

"Yes. Just natural! Ever since he stayed with me after his father's departure, I've never been anywhere. Even after Uncle and Aunt stayed at our bar. The barrel is always in the stockings every day. Maybe he was just a little tired. Look, how did he fall asleep so fast?!" Looking at Nyi Dewi so that Nyi Dewi see how soundly sleep Laras.

Nyi Dewi smiled as she watched Laras' sleeping face. "Kangmas, just let me replace Kangmas to carry Diajeng?" pinta Nyi Dewi who felt Jaka had been holding Laras for quite a long time.

"It's okay! Let me just! I don't want to bother you!"

Nyi Dewi nodded and poked softly into Laras cheek with her index finger. "Diajeng seemed to enjoy his sleep so much" said Nyi Dewi.

"Kanda. Don't pinch Dinda's cheek.. Later Dinda.." rake Laras a little piqued. Nyi Dewi and Jaka looked at each other and laughed amusedly at the sound of Laras in his sleep.

After walking for more than half an hour, the three passed through a small hamlet. A walkway with several rice fields and long gardens on both sides looks so beautiful. The green leaves that are visible to the eye along the streets traversed by Jaka and Nyi Dewi are like an alluring sight. At that time many people passed through Jaka and also Nyi Dewi. Looks like they just returned from their fields or fields. It was seen from their slightly muddy clothes and some of them carried hoes and sickles in their hands, as well as the time that was almost moving towards the afternoon.

An expanding smile seemed to describe that their lives were so peaceful and far from being afraid of something. They still chatted with affection accompanied by a strand of warm smiles and laughter that adorned their faces.

"Kisanak! Nyisanak!.." greet one of the foremost among them when passing by Jaka and also Nyi Dewi. The others smiled warmly as they gave their greetings to Jaka and Nyi Dewi despite not saying anything. Both Jaka and Nyi Dewi gave a smile for a moment while nodding softly to return his greeting.

"The people around look so friendly, Kangmas," said Nyi Dewi looking at some people who have passed behind him.

"Yes. I agree with you, Nyimas! They look so harmonious with each other like," Jaka comments on the words of Nyi Dewi. "even to others even though they do not know," added Jaka.

"Huhuahh!" Barrel awoke from his sleep. The barrel spread out his hands and almost made himself fall from Jaka's back. Jaka swiftly propped up Laras and held him with his body. Laras does not remember if he was in the arms of his brother, Jaka.

"Diajeng, beware! Don't make your brother in trouble! What if Diajeng fell down earlier?" tegur Nyi Dewi's.

"Yes! Do you want to come down?" ask Jaka.

Laras shook his head slowly. "Dinda still wants Kanda to hold on for a little while longer." said Laras slowly as he tightened his hands that were coiled on Jaka's shoulder as if he was reluctant to take it off.

Jaka was smiling too. "alright. I'll do it anyway, if you still want to be like this!"

Barrel smiled shyly. "Hm!.."

"Diajeng, does Diajeng want to change? Let Mbakyu carry Diajeng alone."

Laras shook his head reluctantly, then raised his face and looked at Nyi Dewi. "Mbakyu doesn't know what it's like to fall asleep on Kanda's shoulder? It feels so comfortable! Dinda even felt back sleepy again," said Laras by closing his eyes. Feeling the thing he said to Nyi Dewi for a moment. "does Mbakyu not want to feel how it feels to be carried by Kanda too, like Dinda?" tanya Laras looked at Nyi Dewi.

Nyi Dewi gasped in shock. Then Nyi Dewi accidentally collided with Jaka to make her face slightly blushed.

"No!!" said Nyi Dewi looking at the face of Laras who looked at him.

"It feels so comfortable! Just try to feel how it feels!" babble Laras.

"Mbakyu can still walk on his own! Mbakyu is not sleepy either!" said Nyi Dewi again throwing her gaze in the other direction quickly.

"Why did Makyu throw his face away?"

Nyi Dewi was still looking in the other direction, and occasionally looked ahead to just pay attention to the streets. His mouth was still unwilling to open. Nyi Dewi did not dare to reply to Laras' question. Only the sound of his footsteps could be heard.

"Kanda, is it possible that Mbakyu is not pleased because Kanda does not want to hold Mbakyu like Dinda?"

"Hm??" tanya Jaka muttered.

"Did Kanda not want to hold Mbakyu, Dinda asked?!" Said near Jaka's ear.

"Hm.. It's up to how your mom wants it."

"What about Kanda? Is Kanda willing to hold Mbakyu?"

"Why did you even ask me? You want to ask who exactly? To me or your mom?" jaka asked a little laugh and teased Laras.

Laras raised his face instantly and directly hit Jaka's shoulder lightly. Feeling annoyed and embarrassed because Jaka played him. Then move his feet in a spoiled manner.

"Don't move much! What if you fall down later?"

"Leave it!" Laras replied with a thorny voice.

Jaka laughed amusedly at Laras' sulking behavior. "Why did you turn out to be so upset? Are you ashamed?"

Laras was reluctant to respond. He just kept moving both his legs in Jaka's hand. His mouth was a thousand words. Just like Nyi Dewi who had no voice since.
