While it was deep in the depths of the forest, in the headquarters of the Black Horse group, in a narrow, luminous room, a girl was leaning against the wall of the room.
His hands and feet are tied. His mouth could not make a sound because it was covered in cloth. His gaze was dark due to the thick enough cloth that covered his eyes.
Two guards stood firmly on the doorstep of the room, complete with weapons guarding the room.
In another room, two people were seen sitting at the dinner table discussing their plans.
“Hei Ledonggowo, your job is just to fill your stomach. Hurry up, tell me! What do we want with that girl?”
“I'll make him as bait to lure Jaka Umbara out.”
“What if we fail later? Could've killed us!”
“Calm, Ambarwati. Don't worry!” said Ledonggowo full of confidence. “I'm sure our plan will run smoothly.” He spoke lightly while continuing to thrust the meat he held into his mouth.
“If he doesn't come here, his sister I will make as a storehouse of precious money for me.” Ledonggowo laughed in satisfaction, as if his victory over Jaka Umbara had already been won.
“To you only! If it doesn't work, don't blame me for reminding you to act quickly."
"It's a matter of your personal grudges. Nothing to do with me in the least. If you hadn't helped me in the past, then I wouldn't have helped you get revenge.”
"Yes, yeah. Have fun! You just wait how it turns out."
Sri Ambarwati could only gulp with a cocky feeling, leaving Ledonggowo still engrossed in filling the stomach. He shook his head at Ledonggowo's actions.
Early in the morning Jaka and Nyi Dewi as well as Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung are ready to leave to find the existence of Laras.
They split the target search direction into two directions. Jaka and Nyi Dewi went west, while Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung headed north.
“We just divide our search direction. Uncle and Aunt should look north, and Kangmas Jaka and I should head west. That way we will quickly find the existence of Laras,” said Nyi Dewi.
"There is also a possibility that we will meet around the forest. It's just not certain" added Nyi Dewi.
“Alright, then we will part here,” said Nyi Pucung.
“Where should we gather again later?” keep Ki Pucung.
“Better we gather in padepokan only,” proposed Jaka.
Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung nodded. Both of them immediately prepared to leave. “You guys be careful then. We leave first,” order Nyi Pucung.
Jaka and Nyi Dewi nodded. Before long, Jaka and Nyi Dewi immediately rushed over.
“Kangmas, who do you think has kidnapped Kangmas' sister?” ask Nyi Dewi as she begins her journey.
“Come, Nyimas! I also don't know for sure who is behind all this.”
“Could all this have been Ledonggowo that Kangmas told you about yesterday? It could be that he still holds grudges against Kangmas for the incident the other day.”
“Entaih! It could be that it is also a possibility that leads to what is happening right now. But, as long as we don't have solid evidence, it will be difficult for us to prove the truth.
Sighs. "The only thing we can do for now is to find the truth first.”
"But, did Kangmas not suspect Ledonggowo of being involved in this matter?"
"I think so too. It's just, I'm not too sure."
Both of them instantly withdrew the horse's control and quickly left the area of the paddokan heading towards the forest.
Their journey has traveled about two hours.
A moment suddenly, Jaka withdrew his control thus making Nyi Dewi astonished.
“Kangmas, what's wrong? Why do we stop here?”
Jaka observed his surroundings. “Please your voice, Nyimas! There are some people who are still watching our movements. At least they numbered ten people or maybe more.”
“Who are they, Kangmas?”
“I don't know for sure either. But it seems like they didn't mean well to us.” Still watching the surroundings carefully.
Nyi Dewi also pay attention to the surrounding as done by Jaka.
“Kangmas, I don't think there's anyone here. Why don't we just continue on our way?”
“Wait, Nyimas,” Strictly Jaka. He was still waiting for the presence of people who were silent hiding while watching the movements of the two.
“Great also you can know our whereabouts.”
Someone appeared and cut off Jaka's words, followed by a few people coming out from behind the tree.
"You must be pretty good. I was told to clean you up. Apparently I found someone comparable to me," he said in a condescending tone.
“Who has sent you to deal with me?” ask Jaka. That guy didn't answer Jaka's question.
“If you can defeat me, maybe I'll tell you who sent me,”.
“Alright! You asked for it.”
Jaka pressed his hand, rested on the horse's back and made it fly down from his horse, then stepped on the wind rushing alone towards the person who confronted him.
“Kangmas, be careful!” shouted Nyi Dewi. He was about to drive his horse, but some people went out to hold him.
“Hey, sweet! Where are you going?” stop someone who blocks the way.
“Ya, yes. What if we had fun first. Stay with us for a minute, yes!” say the other while grinning.
"Happy with you guys?"
"Really, right. Ought to, and we will not hurt you" said another.
"We're going to make you feel like you're floating in heaven" said another.
Nyi Dewi was surly, looking down on them with her gaze. “Try it if you are tired of living.”
Nyi Dewi tried to provoke some of those people to instantly get angry and attack him.
“Basic cecunguk! Much behavior! Just finish him!”
The few people immediately raised their weapons, and unsheathed them towards Nyi Dewi. Nyi Dewi avoided the sabetage of sharp weapons that were dealt to him, then rushed to the place where Jaka was fighting a sword with someone.
“Kangmas, how are you doing?”
“I'm fine. How about you?”
“I'm fine. But my back seems pretty open. I thought Kangmas could pay a little more attention to it.”
“Just leave it to me, we both take care of our back.”
“Alright."
Jaka and Nyi Dewi tried to dodge and guard their back area.
“Kangmas, it looks like your part is very open, be careful!”
“Are you trying to scare me a little,” sloth Jaka. Nyi Dewi only gave a smile.
“Hohoho, I don't think it's time for you to make out!. If you don't pay attention around you, I doubt you can win from me.”
“We'll see!” jaka tengat.
Half an hour passed and time went by so fast. Neither Jaka Umbara and Nyi Dewi, nor anyone who challenged him, neither of them had been hurt.
Some of the people who followed him were still able to attack Jaka and Nyi Dewi, while others were already lying on the ground.
A few hours passed and the time turned increasingly imperceptible. Now, only the three remained strong enough to stand up and hold back and launch an attack.
All three are still persistent to prove who is still able to stand upright.
“I don't think we're balanced in this fight. One on two! Doesn't this not seem fair enough to us? What do you think?”
Jaka did not respond to him, nor did Nyi Dewi. Both of them were only focused on fending off and dodging the person's attack.
That person increasingly aggressively launched his attacks on Jaka and Nyi Dewi.
An attack threatens Jaka, but Jaka is still able to avoid it.
Meanwhile, Nyi Dewi also got the same attack, but escaped from him.
Nyi Dewi staggered, almost fell and almost found himself touched by the sharpness of the sword of the person if only Jaka did not immediately pull his body so as to save his life.
