The story continues again..
Upon Jaka's return from the Suryalaya royal palace, he decided to return to Padepokan on the Darmalaya hill.
He had no other choice but to keep the parapet inherited by his late teacher. He traversed Kahuripan Village on the hill Tumenggung, because it was considered a fairly fast distance to reach the hill Darmalaya.
The roar of the horse's feet accompanied his journey. A few hours later, half the journey was completed.
Suddenly, he pulled the reins of his horse quickly. The horse stopped.
He glanced at the surrounding area. Nothing, he thought. However, both of his ears rejected his prejudice. Jaka heard a familiar voice in his ears.
Now everything becomes clear. A fierce battle was taking place not far ahead from where Jaka was. The sound of the sword clashing was very clear. Hustle and bustle full of sounds indicates not one or two people who are fighting.
At first he did not budge, but when he crossed the place of battle, his heart was suddenly stirred.
He saw a girl who was being protected behind a middle-aged man who was surrounded. The middle-aged man was only armed with a spear to fight against the group known as the Black Horse group.
“Stop!” yelled Jaka trying to break up the fight. Because the religion of this fight is not balanced.
“Heh, Kanak! What right do you have to interfere in our affairs? Who do you think you are? How dare you tell us, the Black Horse group, huh! Don't you know Ledonggowo? The leader of the Black Horse group that everyone feared,” said someone who was considered the chairman among them arrogantly.
“I am a traveler, my name is Jaka Umbara,” Jaka replied calmly.
“Hah!! Who is Jaka Umbara?” he said dismissively. "we don't know! If you want to survive, quickly get out of front of us!” he said that by drawing out the sword as if giving a threat.
“If you do not immediately stop this fight, then do not blame me if I have to serve you.”
“Beched! Got your guts too apparently! I'll cut your body down until there's nothing left!” the head of the black horse group.
Without further ado he drew his sword towards Jaka Umbara.
Sooooo!!!
The group of Black Horses immediately raided Jaka Umbara, and instantly left the middle-aged man protecting his daughter with wounds on her body.
No doubt a fierce fight is inevitable.
The clinking of the sword again happened. The force armed with their swords and spears launched.
One, two sword slashes and a spear thrust almost hit Jaka, but Jaka gave resistance, so they were overwhelmed by Jaka Umbara's attack.
All of the Black Horse's men were made up in the fog by Jaka's attack. Some of them even fell in his hands.
“This time you can win. But remember, next time don't expect you to win! Remember that! we'll make the calculations with you! Just wait for our revenge! Come on, let's go!”
The Black Horse group immediately left Jaka Umbara with a thousand arrogant feelings for their defeat.
Jaka approached the middle-aged man with the daughter behind him. “Uncle, are you okay?”
“O young man, thank you for helping us.”
“Indeed it is our duty to each other we must help each other.”
“Where are you from young man?”
“I'm from Darmalaya hill.”
“Again, I say ter. ima.. kasi.. hh.." Uhukk! Fresh blood was drenched from the mouth of the middle-aged man.
Soon his daughter was hunting him. “No! Ayahandas.. Ayahanda.”
“Ayahanda, let's go home! We must immediately treat father's wounds.”
“My son, I have ... can no longer stand ... survive,” said the middle-aged man half-steaded.
“No!! Father, don't say that. I don't want Daddy to leave. Anyway we'll go home and find a cure to treat Ayahanda's wounds.”
His voice began to weaken. Jaka tried to approach her.
“If I can do it, fine. What can I do?” jaka said
“I don't think I'm strong anymore.”
“Ayahanda, don't say that.” cut off his daughter. “I'm sure father can still be helped.” He sobbed in his words, holding back his cries so as not to break.
“My son, do not be sad! Don't give up on this life!" He was embraced by his daughter.
“Out young man.” He looked at Jaka. “please take care of my daughter.."
His voice is weakening.
"I don't have any family or other relatives to look after him. May you take care of my son as you look after your family.”
Not long after his breath was cut off. Discharged. The middle-aged man was unable to be saved. He closed his eyes forever in front of his daughter.
“Ayahanda's chat.. Ayahanda.. don't leave me alone.”
The girl was crying so much. Jaka tried to calm the girl.
“Tell me what is your name?”
The girl did not reply. He was just sobbing in his tears. Weeping over the father who had left this mortal realm.
“Now, let's bury your father's body first. After that, we will find a place to stay,” entertain Jaka.
Again, there was no response from the girl. His cry was still heard even though his voice was not so loud.
After the funeral procession was completed, Jaka began to continue his journey that had stopped.
He walked followed by the daughter who was entrusted by the middle-aged man to guard and immediately went riding his horse leaving the middle-aged man's belly button which he buried.
Almost a few hours ago Jaka again continued the journey with a girl who did not know what her name was.
He returned to the village where he lived with his teacher.
On his way, not a word came out from the two, only the footsteps of the horses spoke.
Jaka increasingly accelerate the horse race because the day is almost dusk. Not long ago both of them arrived at the store. Both of them got off the horse.
“Come, we're in. We'll stay here for a while.”
Jaka passed into the padepokan, while the girl was reluctant to follow his steps.
Seeing that, Jaka repeated his words again. “Come, we're in!” take Jaka again.
The girl finally complied. He enters following Jaka with the remains of sadness on his face.
Jaka took dinner dishes for both. Divide it into two parts. One for her, the rest for the girl.
“Eat! You must eat to avoid getting sick. Eat before the food gets cold.”
Pouring dishes in the form of rice and side dishes in front of the girl.
He's not flinching. The remnants of his grief have not disappeared completely. Perhaps, that made him not want to eat what Jaka offered him a sesap.
In fact, when Jaka finished eating the dish, the girl had not touched the food in the least.
“Eat! After that you can rest. Later, I'll bring you a pillow and a bed for you”
For the most part, Jaka's speech did not get any response from the girl.
Jaka finally left, and he soon returned. “This I prepare pillows and blankets for you, eat your food, then rest! I'll sleep in the front room, if you need anything, just tell me.”
