When the afternoon arrived, Jaka and Dewi Mayasari were finally able to meet Uncle Datuk, the person they had been waiting for since coming to the inn.
“Uncle, finally I can meet you too,” greet Jaka when face to face with Uncle Datuk.
“Ah, haha. I haven't seen you in a long time. Are you a little busy? By the way who are you here with? Aren't you with your teacher?” Reply to Jaka's greeting in a friendly manner.
“I hardly have any free time lately, Uncle. I'm here with my sister. Today's teacher can't come with me. That's why I brought my sister here."
“Is your teacher okay?”
“Teacher is fine. He sometimes writes a lot and occasionally sees me practicing.”
“You must be a devoted disciple of your Master, Jaka. He already thinks of you as his own son.” Sighs, then gulps down something devoted to him. “She is old, just like me, already getting sickly. Moreover, he did not have a single child by his side. I feel sorry for him sometimes. Who will look after him at his age who is no longer young.” Thinking while looking indeterminate and imagining something.
Jaka listened carefully. Dewi Mayasari was seen frowning when she heard that Jaka's teacher who was none other than her father had no children. He almost protested against Uncle Datuk's remarks, but was arrested by Jaka.
“Ah, yes. Uncle, this is my sister. Nyimas, introduce yourself to Uncle Datuk,” pinta Jaka to Dewi Mayasari.
“Uncle Datuk, My name is Dewi. I'm Kangmas Jaka's sister,” said Dewi Mayasari introduced herself with courtesy, pretending to be Jaka's younger sister.
“Ah, yes, yes. Don't be so sad. Then I will call you Nyi Dewi only, may I?”
Goddess Mayasari nodded. “Please, if Uncle pleases.”
“Alright, then. By the way, what made you come here with your sister?”
“Teacher ordered me to find some medicinal plants for him. He's been a little busy lately. So I asked my brother to come with me to see Uncle."
“Did your teacher know you were going with your sister to see me?” ask Uncle Grandpa.
Uncle Datuk mangosteen. “What plants does your teacher need?” ask Uncle Grandpa Again.
Jaka gave a note containing several lists of medicinal plants made by Mpu Fencing Maya to be handed over to Uncle Datuk.
“Alright, I will see first whether the item you need is in the storage room or not. You guys wait here till I get back.” Uncle Datuk got up and went to a room.
“Good, Uncle. We will wait for you back.”
Dewi Mayasari rushed to Jaka. “Hey, since when did you say that Ayahanda has no children?” Spoken.
“I didn't say that. Teacher who told Uncle about it.”
“But why? Am I not his daughter?”
“Where do I know! If you want to know, just ask Master.”
“You..” Dewi Mayasari was upset by Jaka's words and was about to get angry, but Datuk's uncle went back to his place, so Dewi Mayasari undoes it.
“Ekhm.. You guys are pretty well-adjusted. How old are you?”
“Probably between three years, Uncle.” says Jaka spontaneously.
“Hmm, alright, I've checked all the items you need in the storage room. All items listed on this note are in the storage room, except the Panglai plant and some leaves of Theutheuk tree,”, said Uncle Datuk after a while looking in a room.
Jaka looked a little disappointed after hearing the items he needed could not be obtained.
“But I know where you can get it,” said Uncle Datuk
