Early in the morning. Dewi Mayasari still pleaded with her father to be willing to ease his sentence. But it seems like nothing can be changed.
Jaka just faced after cleaning himself. “Good morning, Guru,” greet Jaka on Mpu Fencing Maya. Mpu Fencing Maya smiled and nodded. “Good morning, Dewi.” Looking at the Goddess Mayasari. Huh!! There was nothing in return for Jaka's greeting other than an expression of annoyance on his face.
“Teacher, I'm ready,” said Jaka tidying up the equipment he brought. A cloth bag was slung on his shoulder. A small knife hung on his waist. And a little cloth tied around his head.
“Good! Go as soon as you leave!” mpu Fencing Maya's orders on Jaka. Dewi Mayasari approached her father, still hoping that her sentence would be commuted. “It.. Ayahanda.. about my punishment.”.
“Nothing has changed. Go with Jaka!”
Dewi Mayasari looked sharply at Jaka. "It's all your fault, huh!" Passed by leaving Jaka in front.
Jaka looked at the confused Maya Fencing Mpu. “No need to worry! His anger will not last long,” said Mpu Anggar Maya calm Jaka.
Jaka nodded. Stepping away serving her sentence in search of medicinal herbs as ordered as punishment for her and Dewi Mayasari. “I go first, Guru.”
“Depart!”
On the way to the top of the hill, Jaka and Dewi Mayasari pass through the paths from the back of the padepokan. No one talks about either of them. Dewi Mayasari walked quickly in front, while Jaka followed her walking a little far behind.
The paths that lead up the hill are cut off, leaving the dirt road covered with grass entering the forest. The path channel passed by the two leads in the other direction, so they must both pass through the dirt road with grass that leads to the forest.
Dewi Mayasari stopped her steps and was almost followed by Jaka's steps.
“What's up?” tanya Jaka approached.
“Nothing!” answer Goddess Mayasari ketus. He stepped back. This time closer in front of Jaka.
Both of them almost reached the top of the hill.
Goddess Mayasari stopped her steps. Jaka approached Goddess Mayasari.
“What's up? Is there nothing else?” Looking towards the front.
Dewi Mayasari did not reply, only pointing her finger in fear. Jaka saw the body of a large snake walking in front of him. Shhhh! Jaka signaled that Dewi Mayasari did not move for a while.
Goddess Mayasari was still afraid. Suddenly he grabbed Jaka's hand. His hands look shaky.
“Do not be afraid. I'll take care of it. You don't move yet,” pinta Jaka.
Jaka immediately looked for a wooden branch. Krtic! Krtic! The sound of Jaka's feet stepping on small branches. He looked ahead. The huge snake stopped, as if hearing a voice nearby. The snake turned around. Goddess Mayasari who saw the snake turned around and seemed to be looking at it became shocked.
Goddess Mayasari scattered herself running in the other direction. The snake realized something and immediately hunted towards the Goddess Mayasari who suddenly ran.
Jaka is in a hurry to pursue Dewi Mayasari. The steps aren't close enough. The snake is chasing after the goddess Mayasari.
“Goddess! run to your left side!” yelled Jaka loudly.
Dewi Mayasari follows the directions of Jaka. He ran towards her quickly. The snake followed him. Now Jaka can follow the steps of Dewi Mayasari, then pull his hand and put the position of Dewi Mayasari behind him.
The snake came closer quickly and jumped towards him. Jaka took his knife and swung his hand swiftly against the snake. Jaka estimated his steps, the snake did not hunt him, but Goddess Mayasari. The knife might be too late to use as a weapon. Finally he let his left arm bitten by the jumping snake. Interestingly, then killed him with a knife in his hand.
