Jaka Umbara; The Wind Warrior
Journey home

After arriving at the inn, a moment later Jaka and Dewi Mayasari immediately resigned themselves back to the temple.

"Aren't you guys going to stay at the inn first?" asked Uncle Datuk as soon as he got off his horse.

"We'll just go back to the store. We've been leaving Master for a few days now, afraid that Master will be worried about our situation if we don't return soon" Jaka replied.

"Alright, I hope you guys don't hesitate to come here again."

"Then, excuse us, Uncle," said Jaka to get ready to race his horse.

"Send my regards to your Master."

Jaka nodded. Control of the horse immediately pulled, spur the pace of his horse towards the direction of the padepokan.

In the padepokan where Jaka lives..

"Teacher, Teacher. I'm back" yelled as he entered the parlour.

Mpu Anggar Maya who was in the reading room immediately approached Jaka and Dewi Mayasari who had just arrived.

"What about your journey?" tanya Mpu Fencing Maya approached the two.

"Our journey was smooth. We were also assisted by Uncle Datuk. He also asked me to send greetings to Master."

"How could you meet him at the inn?!"

"Rubber, Master!"

Mpu Fencing Maya mangosteen. Jaka immediately handed over the items needed by his teacher.

"Teacher.."

"What's wrong?" ask Mpu Fencing Maya who saw Jaka hesitant to ask something.

"No! I was going to ask Master something. But I thought, maybe later," said Jaka. "I'll go back to my room first, Master," he added.

"Yes, return! Rest your body! You must be tired."

"Good, Teacher." Walk towards his room.

Dewi Mayasari immediately hunted her father, Mpu Fencing Maya, as soon as Jaka went to his room.

Mpu Fencing Maya captures the meaning of her daughter's eyes. He sighed. "alright. Follow me to the reading room." Turn your body towards the place in question. Dewi Mayasari immediately followed her father's steps.

After arriving at the reading room, Mpu Fencing Maya took a seat and told Dewi Mayasari to sit down.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"Ayahanda, why did Father tell Uncle Datuk that he had no children? Am I not Ayahanda's real daughter?"

"There are some things I can't explain to you right now."

"Must I not know the slightest reason Father said that to Uncle Grandfather?"

"I'll say it when the time comes."

Goddess Mayasari could not say anything more. He bowed. Whether you should be angry or not. He was angry but also curious.

"Is there anything else you want to talk about?"

Goddess Mayasari nodded.

"Say!"

"Was it because Ayahanda said that Ayahanda had no children, then I had to pretend to be Jaka's sister when I was outside the storehouse?"

Mpu Fencing Maya nods her head in agreement.

"But why should she be his sister? Can I pretend to be his friend? Or be someone else, maybe? Why pretend to be her sister?"

"It's only natural that Jaka is a few years older than you. What's wrong with you thinking of Jaka as your brother?"

"But, Father.."

"That's it, you don't have to worry. Rest your body immediately. You must have been tired from the trip a few days ago."

"Alright, Ayahanda. I'll go back to the room to rest."

"Yes, come back!"

Dewi Mayasari finally passed away going to her bedroom room although her conversation with her father did not find the bright spot she expected.
