Morning time. Jaka is training the learning style that has been taught by Mpu Anggar Maya, his late teacher. Meanwhile, Laras wholeheartedly accompanies Jaka in training. Jaka rested for a while in the middle of his training.
“Kanda!”
“What's up, Baras?”
“Please teach me the Kanuragan science taught by teacher Kanda, so that I can take care of myself when Kanda goes hunting into the forest.”
Swiping Laras' head while advising, “It is not yet time for you to learn that, Laras. When the time has come, I will also teach you.”
“But Kanda, Dinda also wants to practice, so that Dinda can have strength, at least that's what Dinda thinks.”
“You take it easy, Baras! I will always take care of you. You don't have to worry!”
“But, Kanda..”
“Then, there will be nothing! You take it easy!”
Jaka assures Laras that everything will be fine. During this time Jaka often trains the moves that have been taught by his late teacher. He believes he is able to take good care of Baras.
“Then I go hunting first, you're fine here. Don't go anywhere. Remember that!" Jaka switched the conversation while riding his horse.
“Yes already, Kanda be careful! Don't come home too late. I'm afraid of being left alone continue.”
“Yes, I'll try it in the afternoon I'm back.”
Jaka left with his horse, driving down the road he used to walk towards the forest.
Laras could only watch Jaka's departure until he could no longer be seen in his view.
In the depths of the forest, Jaka tied his horse's leash to a tree, then went in search of the quarry with a bow and arrow as his weapon.
So far no quarry has been seen by his views. They were hiding somewhere, he thought.
He continued to search and search for animals that can be hunted, so he did not feel himself had entered the forest rather deep.
“Ah, I went too far!” muttered. The day was almost at dusk, while there was not a single hunted animal that he managed to get.
“Maybe I should just go back,” he said reassuringly.
Jaka immediately drove his horse quickly towards the direction he used to go round-trip hunting into the forest. It didn't take long, he'd already arrived at the store.
For some reason, suddenly his heart was a little riled up. Maybe because there is not a single hunted animal that he got, or just a hunch. He did not want to bother with the anxiety in his heart that came so suddenly.
Without tying the control of his horse, he immediately got off the horse and rushed into the paddle.
“Laras, I'm back,” cried Jaka in the front room.
In the absence of an inside command, Jaka decides to search Laras into the room.
“Laras! The barrel! where are you?” again he called out to Laras.
“While! why so quiet?” said Jaka. “where did Laras go?”
Jaka felt less of a craving. Then he circled the entire room in the padepokan, looking for its existence. But there are no satisfactory results.
He tried again to find. Honey, the results obtained are not much different. He still did not find the whereabouts of Laras.
Jaka came back out of the paddle while continuing to call Laras, but Laras never showed the trunk of his nose.
"Grass!"
Suddenly he came to a stranger in his sight, Nyi Dewi Mayasari, accompanied by two people he had just seen.
“Nyimas!” pekik Jaka's. He did not expect to be reunited with his long-gone college student.
“When Nyimas arrived at padepokan?”
“New, not long ago. What's wrong, Kangmas? You seem to be confused about something?” asked Nyi Dewi Mayasari astonished to see Jaka's behavior.
“Women's sister?"
Jaka nodded.
"I know Kangmas never had a sister? How can Kangmas suddenly have a sister?” Nyi Dewi was getting confused.
“The story is quite long.”
“Tell me! Maybe I can help Kangmas find him."
“Alright, I'll tell Nyimas everything. Initially like this.” Jaka began to recount how he had a younger sister.
He started it on his return from the kingdom of Suryalaya.
One by one the events he told in detail, until finally Jaka had to take care of Laras who entrusted a middle-aged man to him.
“That's how it actually happened, Nyimas,” explained Jaka at length.
Nyi Dewi Mayasari mangosteen while continuing to listen to the story of Jaka to the end.
“Alright! If that's the case, I'll help Kangmas find the little sister Kangmas told me about."
"Ah, yes, I forgot to introduce you to uncle and aunt." said Nyi Dewi.
"Please let me introduce them to Kangmas. They are Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung." Accusing with his hands, introducing the two people that Jaka had just seen.
"They were the ones who helped me when I was in my time of adventure. And coincidentally, they're kind of like Father."
"They're like my uncles and aunts, they think of me like their own nieces and nephews. Therefore, I hope Kangmas will consider them as such,” said Nyi Dewi.
“Uncle, Aunty, this is Kangmas Jaka Umbara. He was a student like me when the late Father was alive. I told you about it."
Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung nodded.
"He was the heir of the Suryalaya kingdom, and also the grandson of His Majesty King Baskara Nara Diningrat. Think of him like your nephew, no need to hesitate,” said Nyi Dewi introduced Jaka Umbara to Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung.
“No need to exaggerate!” Interjecting Nyi Dewi. “toh, I am just an orphan. Anyway I don't like it when juxtaposed as an heir or whatever it is,” added Jaka.
“An honor for us. Well, Nyi Dewi, we will consider Raden Jaka as part of our family as well, just like Nyi Dewi.” welcome Ki Pucung.
Ki Pucung threw his gaze at Nyi Pucung sign asking for his approval. His signal was well received. Nyi Pucung nodded his head in receipt of his gesture of approval.
“If Raden Jaka would accept us as brothers, as a family,” added Ki Pucung.
Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung saluted them to Jaka.
“Uncle, Aunty, wake up! We are one brother, one family, raise your heads!" Jaka looks awkward over the treatment of Ki Pucung and Nyi Pucung to him.
Jaka scratched his hair, confused as to how he should explain, what they should interact with.
“Erm.. that. a, I'm not used to receiving special treatment like just now, or something. I wish Uncle and Aunt would have happened to me like normal people. It makes me comfortable,” pinta Jaka politely.
“Good. Then, we will start looking for Raden Jaka's younger sister when the day is clear. We better rest tonight while charging for tomorrow, how?" ki Pucung Proposal.
“I think it's better too, soon it's getting dark. What do you think of Kangmas?” Nyi Dewi looked at Jaka. Awaiting his response to the proposal from Ki Pucung.
“Yes, we should rest first for tonight, tomorrow we just leave.”
“Did today Kangmas get hunted in the forest?”
“No! I didn't find a single game I could get. Looks like they're hiding somewhere, or maybe they're going somewhere.”
“Luckily, our supplies are all that's left! Although not much, at least enough for our dinner menu tonight.”
They immediately ate their dinner. Then each of them rested waiting for tomorrow.
