Felt there is no reason whatsoever, Jaka finally went to the front room and began to fall asleep. Sometimes he wakes up from his sleep. Check the condition of the girl.
Nothing has changed. His eyes had not been closed, his food was untouched, only his sitting footing had shifted slightly. Jaka went back to sleep in the front room.
Morning was approaching when Jaka began to wake up from his sleep.
He rechecked the condition of the girl, but not much different from the last condition as he saw last night.
No major changes were found each time Jaka checked his condition.
Several days passed since the girl's stay with Jaka.
The days are the same as before. He just locked himself up doing nothing, not touching the food that Jaka served, not even want to talk even a word.
Since the departure of his father, he was seen only locked up while lying down and facing the wall in the room used by Jaka, as if there was no passion for him to resume his life.
Sometimes her tears would endlessly wet her cheeks. Sobs are sometimes heard even though not so loud. He often mentions his father in his sobs.
Exactly three days after the arrival of the girl he had to take care of, plus the food that began to decrease, Jaka decided to look for hunted animals in the forest so as not to lack foodstuffs.
That day he started to prepare everything. Horses and hunting equipment have also been prepared carefully.
After cleaning up, Jaka returns to his room and cleans up his bed, checking back on how the girl is doing for the last time before he goes hunting into the forest.
Again the girl still did not move from where she lay. He still called out to his dead father, hugging his knees against the wall of the room.
Jaka shook his head. Inexhaustible thought about his behavior that is always the same every day.
“If you don't like the food, I'll go find a game or other food. You stay here and don't go anywhere before I get back!”
Jaka turned his back, getting ready to go hunting. The arrow with the bow he had brought. However, his footsteps were suddenly restrained.
A hand immediately pulled his shirt quickly.
“Ka, Kakanda.. Ja, don't leave me alone! I'm scared!”
That was the sentence that came out for the first time from the girl's mouth. Jaka is grateful, the girl is now willing to talk to him even though not much.
Jaka smiled warmly. “What's your name?” asked Jaka softly.
“I.. Din, Dinda's. Dinda Kirana Larasati.” The girl nodded while bowing her head.
Jaka sat next to her for a while. The girl looks embarrassed and reluctant to interact with Jaka long enough.
Jaka smiled as he stroked her hair gently. Jaka said slowly attentively, “Alright! Then clean yourself up first. I'll get you some clothes ready. And from today, I'll call you Laras, how?”
The girl did not touch him, the look on her face showed embarrassment, only a small nod was the answer.
Jaka then led the girl to go clean up, then left her, went to look for clothes and prepared food for her.
From that day on, the girl began to appear to rise from her deep sadness.
He wants to do small things. Jaka was grateful for the change of the daughter he now maintains.
Jaka hoped that his life aura would start to grow slowly. Little by little.
It had been two months since Jaka had lived with Dinda Kirana Larasati, a daughter whom the middle-aged man entrusted to him.
A young girl who was about twelve years old began to open her mouth. He was already willing to talk to Jaka, even though he did not get many words out of his mouth.
The aura of his life was now beginning to become clear. After two months, the girl grew into a beautiful, jolly girl. Sometimes he also accompanies Jaka to practice.
“Kanda, is the exercise done?”
“Already! I think training for today is enough.”
“Dinda bring drinks and food for Kanda. Kanda eat, so that Kanda's energy recovers!”
“Thank you, Laras. You are indeed good at making your brother happy.”
Barrel smiled. “Is today Kanda going hunting into the forest again?”
“Yes. Some of our food ingredients have begun to decrease, even for the next few days I think will not be enough with our current supplies.”
“Alright, Kanda beware!” said Laras understood. “but, Kanda don't come back too late."
“Do you feel lonely I'm left alone in the forest?” ask Jaka. Laras nodded. The look on his face seemed to tell Jaka not to leave.
“Take it easy! I'll be home fast once I get the hunt, yeah. You don't have to worry. Wait for me to come home and don't go anywhere.” Gently brush hair Barrel.
Nodding his head, then replying with a very heavy heart, “Good, Kanda.”
“Yes already, then I want to get ready first, save the rest of the food last night for the night. Hopefully I'll get a big catch today.”
The barrel immediately passed while carrying the leftovers and left Jaka who was preparing his hunting equipment.
“Kanda! Quick, comehere! Fast!” shouted Laras, that's what Jaka Umbara called to Dinda Kirana Larasati. He ran towards Jaka who was clearing his bow. “I see no white rabbit behind the house!”
“Why indeed?” tanya Jaka was astonished.
“Dinda would love to eat rabbit meat, Kanda,” says Laras. “please, stalk for Dinda, yes!” the door while welding.
Breathe in. “Good, well, show me where the rabbit is.” Can't stand the look on Laras' face.
“That's. she's in the back, Kanda. Dinda saw him beside the big tree. Hurry up, he'll be gone again!”
Laras pulled Jaka's hand quickly. The two of them headed straight to where the rabbit was.
“Where are the rabbit? There's nothing in there!”
“Tadi, no! Dinda saw with Dinda's own eyes, just now she was right near the bush.” Pointing to the bushes near a large shady tree that partially covers the roof of the roof.
His face was suddenly grim, showing a hint of disappointment emanating on his face.
“Iya, yes. Now where? There's nothing, right? Nevermind! I'm gonna stick some tails in the woods for you."
Jaka turned around about to go back inside, but his steps were restrained. The barrel immediately prevented Jaka.
“Ahh, look, Kanda! That's rabbit! He was there, behind that big tree!” Barrel was so enthusiastic when he saw the rabbit had not gone far. Victory seemed to be emanating from his face.
“Quick, Kanda! Hurry along! He'll be gone far!”
Jaka picked up the arrow and directly aimed at the rabbit that Laras showed. Full concentration he centered on the end of the arrow he was holding.
Srakk! The arrows shot out quickly through the bushes. Suddenly the rabbit lay before them.
Once again the hue of victory emanated in the face of Laras. He was happy to finally eat his favorite food.
