PAPA'S AFFECTION

Arthur pulls Hendery's hand and takes him to Arthur's own study. There are many things Arthur wants to ask Hendery at this time, including about what really happened to Narda when she was not there.

But just as they entered Arthur's room, Viola arrived and immediately slapped Hendery's face.

"I told you to watch your words! The kid doesn't know what Hendery is! But once you hurt his heart like that!" Viola said furiously.

"What exactly happened?! why did Narda get like this?!" Arthurian.

Hendery did not have time to answer Jason came and dragged Hendery's hand to take him to the family room followed by others. Jason is very angry at this time even he does not care if Hendery is his brother.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY SON! ANSWER ME!" Jason was very angry.

Hendery recounts everything that happened he admitted all his mistakes including when he snapped at Narda and said bastard son. Jason was furious and punched Hendery in the face so hard that Hendery's nose was bleeding.

"I never even snapped at him! I've always tried to protect Narda because I know my son is very sensitive!

Why are you doing this, brother?! If my son bothers you, just tell me I'll take care of him myself, but don't do this to him, brother, don't break my son's heart!" Jason could no longer control himself.

None of them tried to stop Jason. Not because they sided with Jason, but now the talk is useless because Jason won't listen to anyone.

Karina was still in Narda's room to accompany the child. Karina could not bear to leave Narda alone in the room, Evan had wiped Narda's body with warm water and changed Narda's clothes in pajamas.

Karina clasped the child's hand tightly and rubbed it gently. Karina regrets that she let Hendery take Narda, if only Karina had protected the child this would not have happened, that's what Karina had in mind at this time.

Narda awakens and she sees Karina beside her. Narda looked at Karina without saying anything, there was no smile on that sweet and pale face that there was now only a sad look and glassy eyes.

"Dear baby is up?..want milk?" Karina asked gently.

"Mama..." Narda said softly.

"Yes baby? do you need anything, honey?" Carina.

"Dear mom?" Ask Narda lirih.

"Of course my dear mama is just as adorable, mama loves you very much son" Sahut Karina while tightening her hands.

"Mom why does my chest hurt? hiks hyks hiks mama is sick" Narda cried while squeezing her own chest.

Narda's heart felt so pain her chest felt very tight. Her tears just fell as her tears broke, Karina could not say what she was carrying Narda into her arms.

Karina understood that the pain Narda meant was not a medical pain but her hurt feelings and it was very painful for Narda. Karina could not ask the child to calm down because she realized it was also her own fault for allowing Hendery to take her son for granted.

Karina hugged Narda tightly and repeatedly apologized to the child. But Narda kept crying and sobbing, Narda coughed and vomited several times.

There was nothing Narda could spit out because she had not eaten or drank at all. But it was just the more painful Narda's stomach felt tight and sore.

Karina who panicked because the child was in pain told the maid to call Evan.

"Mr Evan! Young master Narda is in pain!" Said one of the maids in a panic.

After Narda was given the medicine she had already improved but when they persuaded Narda to eat and drink the child immediately refused. Though Narda must eat or at least drink milk so that her stomach is not injured.

"Where is it?..." Lirih Narda asked.

"Why are you out there to see papa?" Arthur's voice is soft.

Narda just nodded slowly Evan came out of Narda's room and went straight to Jason.

"Narda's stomach acid rose and she also lacked fluids, I hope everyone can be more gentle with her persuade her to eat and drink otherwise her stomach could be hurt" Evan explained Narda's situation.

"Narda wants to meet with papa. We should all give Narda time so that she is calm, do not force her again" said Arthur who just came out of Narda's room.

Jason slammed the vase next to Hendery and entered Narda's room. Jason put on a fake smile in front of Narda.

"Lad..." Lirih Narda said as she stretched out her hand, Jason held Narda's hand and carried the child into his lap.

"luck now it's time to eat, if you don't eat it will be sick" Jason coaxed the child gently.

Narda was silent she did not respond to Jason's remarks. Narda simply looked at Jason with a meaningful gaze.

"If I don't want to eat, will you also yell at me?" Narda asked while looking into Jason's eyes, Jason paused for a moment then confirmed Narda's slightly messy hair.

"Papa won't yell at you no matter how angry papa is, papa will never hurt you" Jason said with glassy eyes.

Narda looked carefully at Jason, with her tiny hand holding onto Jason's face. Narda smiled but her tears dripped down her still pale face.

"Papa I'm here because I believe in papa. I believe papa will love me, if someday papa gets bored with me and already does not love me.

Please don't hurt my heart pa.. Papa can kill me right away, I'm tired pa" Narda.

"Dear bro don't talk like that, son, you're my son. forever papa will love you, if you don't then papa will be gone too!" Jason hugged Narda tightly.

Narda smiled faintly and let go of Jason's embrace. Narda put her head on Jason's chest as usual, Jason rubbed Narda's back gently.

Every breath of Narda sounded heavy. Narda previously did have asthma but it has been a long time Narda's childhood illness did not recur, only this time the disease came back to attack the tiny and weak body that is now in Jason's lap.

"Eat well, let's get some energy" Jason.

"yeah..." Sahut Narda.

Jason was so happy the boy wanted to eat after almost an hour of persuasion. But Narda put forward one condition that must be met and then she wants to eat.

"papa will give you anything that you want, as long as you want to eat" Jason.

"buddy adek eat on the side terrace, papa" Sahut Narda lirih.

Jason nodded in agreement, Jason held Narda with one hand and the other used Jason to carry Narda's infusion pole.
