CHAPTER 9 | Red Tulips

“Thank you for the visit, may your day bright”, exclaimed a flower shop owner to a customer who just left his store. One of the flower shops that are quite crowded is never deserted by visitors. Whether morning or afternoon or even evening, the store is always visited by visitors. She is a woman named Yuki, with her hair that she always clasps and leaves some strands of hair that she let fall like adorn her face, Yuki sits while waiting for another customer to come to her shop. That morning, at about ten in the morning, Billy went into Yuki's shop, he planned to buy Airin a flower arrangement to decorate his room.

All the flowers in the store were so beautiful that Billy did not know which flowers to choose, one by one he saw and approached. Until finally, Yuki stood up and approached Billy.

“Want to find what kind of flowers?”, Yuki asked Billy arrived.

“Ah.. Here, I want to find flowers but I don't know what flowers I should take”, Billy told Yuki.

“For your lover?”, asked Yuki with a smile

“Yes, he is in the hospital now”, Billy replied.

“Alright, roses are too common for most people, what if red tulips?”, said Yuki gave his advice.he went to pick up a red tulip and gave it to Billy at that time.

“Look, this flower is very beautiful isn't it? This flower has a deep sense of love for our partner, maybe this will suit you”, he continued while giving the flower to Billy for him to see.

Billy is quite interested in the advice of the owner of the flower shop, without much thought he asked Yuki to wrap a series of red tulips.

“Alright, I'll take this one. Please give me a series of red tulips,”, pinta Billy on Yuki.

Soon Yuki works on Billy's request and arranges it very neatly, a series of red tulips are ready for Billy to bring along at the time.

“Thanks for the visit, may your day be sunny”, exclaimed Yuki as Billy left his shop, Billy just smiled in response to the woman's words and then he went to the hospital to see his girlfriend.

Billy sped up his steps towards Airin's room at the time, as he had to attend an important meeting this afternoon. He tried to take time to meet with Airin even if only for a moment.

“Dearly”, greet Billy to Airin who was lying in his bed with Bianca beside him who was joking with Airin at the time.

“You here? Doesn't work?”, asked Billy.

“Hmm..I'm off today, so I can take care of her and take turns with both Airin” parents, Bianca told Billy.

Billy gave a series of flowers that he had bought to Airin, a very beautiful red tulip with a fresh fragrance managed to fill one room with the smell, he said, airin ceaselessly smelled the fragrance of the red tulips that Billy gave him at that time.

“Bi, can you put it on that table?”, asked Airin and gave the flower arrangement to Bianca.

“How are you? Does it still hurt?”, asked Billy to his lover while peeping Airin's hand gently.

“I'm fine, how about you?”, asked Airin

“I'm good too. But Airin, I don't think I can come with you today, a meeting is waiting for me, but tomorrow I will come and take care of you. I'm sorry”, he said a little sorry because he could not be next to Airin this time. Airin smiled and nodded, one of her hands gently stroking Billy's head then descending onto his face.

“Let's rest, there's Bianca and both my parents ready to take care of me. Do your job well, dear. I'll be fine here, I'm a lot more worried about you, I'm afraid you're forgetting yourself and busy with your work. Eat regularly and get enough rest, don't get sick because if you get sick, I can't possibly take care of you”, replied Airin who worried about Billy, a man who always forgets himself if he is busy with his work.

“Don't worry about me . I will take care of myself”, said Billy gently responding to Airin's concerns on him.

Time showed at eleven o'clock in the afternoon, it was time for Billy to return to work and attend important meetings. The time was very short when the two of them were together to give up longing, as if they were charging their batteries because they would never meet again today.

“I have to go. If you need something, call me” immediately, said Billy then kissed Airin's forehead and then he left the woman. It's hard to leave Airin alone without him but a responsibility is waiting for him out there and Billy is very sure that his lover does not want him to prefer to take care of him than to do what he has become his responsibility.

After Billy left, a feeling of emptiness filled his heart, feeling like there was a big hole when Billy left. Although Bianca is with him he still feels lonely, Billy's existence can not be replaced by anyone, not his best friend. I don't know how long Bianca has been asking Airin to talk but the loneliness still reigns in her heart.

Bianca knows what her best friend wants, she wants Billy to be with her more than she does, though there is no resentment in her . He still invites Airin to talk even though sometimes the response received is only a smile or nod, he could not bear if he had to leave his sahabtanya alone while his parents were abroad and his lover was busy working.

“Ah.. Mr. Beni really killed me with all the crazy work he put in me. Your absence is very difficult for us Rin, your work is bestowed on us. Laughter from Airin makes Biaca happy, at least he really laughed this time and not just made.

Tonight passed quickly, for a whole day Bianca accompanied Airin in the hospital. Now he has to go back to his house to get ready to go to work. That morning along with the sound of one of the sisters who entered Airin's room, Bianca also woke up.

“I'm sorry I woke you up, we had to take the patient's blood this morning”, said the nurse then did her job. Bianca got ready and picked up all her belongings and waited until she was done.

“Well, it's time I got home. Finished it is my job to take care of you”, Bianca told Airin who turned out to have been awake since.

“I'm sorry Bi, you must have been bored accompanying me yesterday” Airin told his best friend.

“I know that's what a friend is not. You okay alone here? Do I have to take half a day off to be with you?”, asked Bianca while stretching her slightly tense body, although the facilities are very complete but the bed is not as good as she imagined.

“No need, I'll be fine, Billy will be here” soon, Airin replied.

Bianca now left him and only Airin was left alone, now he felt a very great loneliness. There were no friends or lovers beside him.
