CHAPTER 5 | Secrets Uncovered

Airin returned to his apartment after he finished work. But when he entered, Airin saw two pairs of shoes that he knew were in his house. Both parents come and sit in the living room looking to wait for their son's return, Airin is quite happy both parents come to visit but their faces look different. The mother looked at Airin with her eyes as if she was crying and her father did not look at Airin in the least.

“Mama, dad. Why didn't you come tell Airin first? Airin has not prepared anything, wait for briefly”, said Airin who immediately went to the kitchen to entertain both parents

“Airin sit down!!”, his father orders in a slightly angry tone. Airin held back her steps when she heard her father's slightly raised voice. Not knowing what had happened to them, Airin sat in front of his parents and looked at them like he knew nothing.

“What is this?”, his mother asked Airin by throwing the results of Airin's blood test on their front desk. Airin was surprised to see that the result was with his parents. Without saying anything Airin just kept silent and his eyes began to sink, he refrained from crying.

Intention of the heart wants to hide the problem of himself who was affected by blood cancer in both parents but failed. They knew ahead of time what was planned from Airin.

“Airin replied!!”, cried his mother at Airin who made Airin cry.

The two of them could not help but cry to see their dear son hiding something very important behind them, Airin's father came and hugged Airin gently. Airin's cry broke right then and there as her father gently hugged her.

“Ahh... Mama, papa... Forgive Airin” for crying. Knowing that his only child was facing a very serious illness, the father cried.

“Calm down, already. Mama and papa are here with Airin, Airin is not alone dear”, said his father gently to Airin while wiping tears that continue to come out non-stop.

In silence they sat together without taking a single word out of their mouths, a moment of silence after they cried together.

“As long as mom and dad are alive you are our responsibility, even though you are an adult and can live alone. Understand that Airin” said his father who started the conversation.

“From tomorrow you go home, leave your apartment and your job. Don't think of your lover, focus on your healing!”, Airin's mother orders him.

The more upset he made, as if his parents would limit him because of the disease he suffered. Airin felt like he was locked up by his parents.

“No, Airin won't do that mama. All right, Airin's gonna go home and leave this apartment, but not by stopping work or staying away from Billy. Airin can't do that mama”, Airin denied at her mother's order telling her to limit the surrounding environment.

“Airin please, Airin know that mom and dad love Airin but do not treat Airin like this, let Airin live the life of Airin even though this disease is still lodged in Airin” body, Airin, pinta Airin pleaded as she put her hands together on the two old men sitting in front of her.

No parent wants their child to live a difficult life when they have everything to provide for their child and again, Airin is not like before. Because of his illness, he needed someone else beside him.

“Alright, immediately you make a schedule with a doctor for your therapy. And if until you work over the limit, mama will not hesitate to force you out of your job, even end your relationship with Billy, understand it”, her mother replied softened to Airin, in the end, the two old men of Airin gave a leniency for their only puppet princess even though they did not really want to do it.

It was a heavy day that Airin went through, like a burden to him. Everything he does now has to be more careful than ever, he does not want his mother to know if he is negligent even unable to take care of himself well or he will be forced to go home and stay at home, severing all ties with friends or his girlfriend.

The event program for team 3 has been completed, they take care of their work and prepare to go home when the clock shows at four in the afternoon.

“Tim three, don't go home first. We'll have dinner with the team after work. Mr. Beni who will pay the entire bill”, exclaimed one of Airin's colleagues gave information that makes them all happy.

Dinner at a restaurant is quite luxurious with the team is very rarely done, only two or three kaali a month, togetherness and happiness are felt between them, so much, for a moment Airin was able to forget his burden and have fun with his team-mates.

While they were joking, the headache came back. Airin quickly reached into his bag to look for medicine from the doctor but apparently he forgot to put it in the bag after lunch he drank in the office.

“Sial, it looks like it's left in the office, what should I do? My head, the more sick”, he groaned while holding back his headache while looking down and closed his eyes. Bianca who was in front of Airin understood what had happened to her best friend.

“Airin, shouldn't you go home? You said your parents needed your help tonight?”, Bianca told Airin in front of her teammates.

“Quickly, take me home first before it is too late”, continued Bianca standing while holding Airin who like already can no longer withstand the pain.

“All, we say go home first, thanks for dinner”, Bianca told them all.

Their steps were far enough from his teammate, Bianca took Airin bag that was not strong anymore.

“Where is your medicine?”, asked Bianca

“It looks like it's left in the office. I forgot to enter it”, Airin replied holding his head very sick, his vision began to melt when he was talking to Bianca.

“Stupid basis. You have medicine in your house, right? Get your car keys, let me drive”, said Bianca frantically looking at her very careless best friend. Airin had no choice but to follow whatever Bianca did to him.

Airin's face grew pale because he did not take medicine from the doctor to relieve his headache, he even spoke while closing both eyes of his head was not strong enough to withstand the weight of his head.

“You sure you don't want to tell Billy your condition? Only he does not know Rin”, Bianca said gently to Airin.

Airin shook his head with a smile, imagining himself telling Billy alone scared him.

“No Bi, leave it like this, at least he still thinks that he is in a relationship with his girlfriend normally. I was afraid Billy would leave me after he found out that my illness was quite small”, Airin replied to Bianca with her eyes closed.

“Then you get sick, you always think negative, do you realize? You changed Airin a little, why not become the old Airin with positive thoughts? Stop thinking bad in everything, you will be tired yourself”, replied Bianca who is still trying to persuade Airin to tell Billy the truth about his condition.
